tunjijones:
I know things are not going on fine in the country at the moment.

I know Tinubu seems clueless on how to fix the country, even after he deceived Nigerian that he has a magic wand. But when did petrol get to N1,250. I still bought petrol for N650 yesterday.

God will surely punish all those that are wishing evil against the country cos their candidate lost the last election.
Why will God punish them for merely wishing evil, yet sparing those actually doing the evil?!!

People like Buhari, Ibori, Uzodinma, Okowa, etc?!!

Your prayer is kinda misplaced and amusing.

Wishes aren't horses. grin

Suffering and smiling lots

Hehehehehehe.

Nigeria will lose that final.

My innermost prayer
They will win... They are a good team, with a good coach. cool

Their winning or losing doesn't change the bleak reality in the nation right now.

It's just something to temporarily distract dull Nigerians from it.
Politics › Re: Hunger Protests: Why Tinubu Can’t Govern Like Buhari By Farooq A. Kperogi by Angelfrost(m): 2:23pm On Feb 10, 2024
"Had the current president been Muhammadu Buhari and not Bola Ahmed Tinubu, chances are that the worst that would happen amid the adversity people are going through now would be suppressed, barely audible murmurs. It’s because Buhari is a political cult leader with a firm grip on his followers who worship him and surrender responsibility for their lives over to him. Tinubu has no such appeal.

A psychologist by the name of Steve Taylor came up with a concept he called “abdication syndrome,” which he said disposes people to invest total, child-like trust in a political figure, a cult leader, an opinion molder, etc. in ways that mimic how children idealize and idolize their parents as unblemished paragons of perfection."

This is so apt...! Argue till eternity, but this is the truth.
Politics › Re: Edo Aluminium Association To Embark On 2-Day Protest Over High Cost Of Materials by Angelfrost(m): 2:19pm On Feb 10, 2024
Protests everywhere...! Na wa o.

How can you attract local and foreign investments with this level of insecurity and discontent across the land?!!

................Osimhen..........Moffi.............

........Lookman...... ... ..Iheanacho........

............................Iwobi................................................Bassey.......( as an Anchor man).

...Aina......Ajayi.......Troost.......Osayi........

.........................Nwabali.........................

Tell the Coach to play this formation. Eagles will score 4 scores.
For a final game, A dual attack with Osimhen and Moffi won't be bad.

Those insulting Iwobi are making me doubt their intelligence in football matters.

Alhassan "Calamity" Yusuf ahead of Iwobi?!! Some people are just drunk.

Nigeria has no replacement for Ndidi in terms of solid midfield leaders... So, Iwobi remains the best option.

The coach and anyone with half a football brain should know this.

Iwobi's job is not exactly defensive... Kid can't tackle a sickly fowl.

His job is to pass, distribute, and disrupt the flow of the opponents.

He is what I call a Child of Chaos. cool

Not proper, even the students will find it hard to have a good angle of inclination especially those at the first three rows
Having to raise their heads the high to view the top of the board all the time will harm their necks.

what's the secret behind these background talk you guys normally talk?

Can't you guys come up with another creative way to ask people to like and follow your page?

Do you know these voice turns people off?
That's why many of them won't go far... They don't have sense.

I don talk Taya.

The moment I hear that yeye annoying voice, I log off... Won't even bother watching any further.

If you don't have the voice and charisma for voice over, hire someone else who has to do it for you.

But nope... Many Nigerians just like to be the master of every trade.

No sense of aesthetics.
NYSC › Re: NYSC: Corper Stands On A Chair To Reach The School Board (Video) by Angelfrost(m): 9:24am On Feb 10, 2024
Cruise...!

If the board is too high, they can easily unscrew it, drill holes, and screw it back at a lower height.

...And what's up with the height trash talk?!!

Is there a height requirement for the teaching profession?!!

Op, this is a new year... Abeg, make una dey use common sense.

Good luck nabbing them now...!

If they are smart, they should be long gone and beyond your reach.

...And all this talk about offering info that will lead to their arrest (Snitching), how much are you offering the snitch for risking his life?!!

If your reward for snitching on a multi billionaire thief is in the thousands, why would anyone take that, when he can be paid millions by the thief for his silence?!!

...Just musing aloud! cool
Politics › Re: Tinubu’s Abrupt Subsidy Removal Caused Hardship – Sagay by Angelfrost(m): 6:23am On Feb 10, 2024
Sigh... Tinubu was just in a hurry to show that he was working.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with subsidy removal and floating the Naira, but you have to lay the foundation and prop the most vulnerable for the impact.

Then again... Buhari was no better... Remember the closing of the borders, banning of Twitter, Withdrawal of old Naira notes, etc.

Leadership is truly rocket science among you Africans.
Politics › Re: Budget, Agriculture Ministers Fault Subsidy Removal, Floating Of Naira by Angelfrost(m): 6:04pm On Feb 09, 2024

Economy is collapsed

Electricity generation has fallen below what useless Buhari left it at

On top Semifinals o.

How Final wan come be?!! That means dead body fit surplus.

I sense it was the cancellation of that second goal and gifting South Africa an equalizer that spiked people's blood pressure.

Make we dey calm down watch these games abeg...!

Football is not do or die... If your heart can't carry it, just avoid the game, and be checking livescores.

Still travel?!!

Well, that's if you don't intend to continue your professional career there, or you wish to start afresh by undergoing an undergraduate program for 4 years, then get licensed.

Normally, it isn't even right for someone without work experience to just travel and start working... No serious nation will accept or allow that.
Health › Re: Health Workers Kick As Nigerian Nursing Council Introduces Stringent Conditions by Angelfrost(m): 5:15pm On Feb 08, 2024
It's what it is...!

The government is trying hard (maybe too hard) to force healthcare professionals to stay back in the nation, even though no real effort is being made to improve their working and living conditions.

Just like what I wrote on Instagram a while ago

I support this 100 percent. Infact they should make it ten years sef . The same with Doctors and Dentists. This should however be mostly applicable to graduates of government tertiary institutions funded through subsided education

However the government should also do better for medical personnel in Nigeria. Increase their pay and employ more hands not this nonesense government does every now and then
Your last paragraph ought to have come before your first...!

Subsidized education or not, every worker is worthy of his wage... Why underpay them while embezzling so much?!

You don't put the cart before the horse.

Off point, and further baseless assumptions.

When you are ready to answer my questions like someone with even half a brain, let me know.

While at it, also clearly show where I aligned with any particular tribe.

It should be a shame for any tertiary institution or even secondary school to have people with such a level of bigotry and obtuseness in their records of graduands.

You should take corrections and do better... This empty pride won't take you far.

Thank you.

I'm not surprised at all... I have spoken highly of Cape Verde since the tournament commenced.

They play very fast-paced and skillful football.

Here is the question you should have ask your Igbo tribesmen whom I replied, I edited your question to fit his narrative.

When you answer the question I will gladly answer yours.
1. You don't know my tribe. It's quite unintelligent to assume anyone not insulting Igbos is an Igbo person, and anyone siding with Tinubu has to be Yoruba.

2. I have defended Adeboye severally on this forum (Fact-check my history, please). Defending the great clergyman doesn't mean and isn't tantamount to insulting or dragging Peter Obi. Neither man is at daggers drawn, and neither do they compete in any way.

So, back to my questions... What has dragging Peter Obi (or even Adeboye) got to do with National issues, since both you and those you're e-fighting with are guilty of the same thing?

Thank you.
