joseph1832:You have the internet, and a TV... Army officially released statements banning its use by civilians severally. If for nothing else, it's not a secret... Even average street kids know these simple rules. |
As Chief Pete Edochie succinctly said: "It's the rat inside the house that tells the one in the bush that there is food in the house" Jada, na you open the door for all this nonsense. From the day I got married till date, not a word or picture from my home has graced the social media... I intend to keep it that way. |
oyichi:The President is not foolish... On the contrary, he is smart. He is merely uninterested in the development of Nigeria... They are all there to enrich themselves and their lineage. They will merely keep giving the dumb citizens crumbs. It's a cycle of failure and underdevelopment. It is deliberate. Most Nigerian Politicians are not patriotic! |
silvoclaira:A working and fast-developing nation won't favor corrupt leaders...! The under-development of most African nations is a thing of joy and amusement to former Colonial Masters. Look at Security for instance... You would be naive to believe the situation in the North and East are near impossible to curtail. They know exactly how to remove those terrorists, but they won't do it. Why??! A peaceful Nigeria doesn't serve their personal interests, same as a united Nigeria. |
Nigerian Judiciary in the mud, yet again...! |
Nackzy:What do you mean by nonsense??! Are you saying citizens in "saner" climes go about flouting laws and rules without repercussions?!! Camo law is quite recent, and the reason is because of abuse by most criminally-minded youths of this nation, hence the enactment of the law. Go and research the number of criminals and lowlifes who have used these outfits to deceive members of the public before having their way with them. If you want to insult or put down your nation's rules and laws when comparing them to other nations, also do well to compare the characters of citizens of those nations and your countrymen. An average Nigerian has the potential to abuse and misuse every known privilege. |
joseph1832:It's already clearly stated that it's a crime of Impersonation...! This is no longer news. |
efeteb:Apart from soldier wahala, criminals or terrorists fit conclude say you be soldier true true, come use you do target practice. Naija don already too hard, why add more stress upon oneself?!! Smh. Cloth never finish for market abeg... It's not as if the Camo thing dey make sense or that fashionable tbh. |
This life ehn... Just respect yourself and life will be simpler for you. Some of una too get coconut head for this country. |
JASONjnr:An African nation wading into the affairs of Israel?!!... If this is true, then South Africa is just being STUPID! |
stagger:If you truly study your Bible, you will know Christ never brought any religion...! Religion is a man-made creation. It is as simple as that. |
First time he has said something sensible in a long while...! I agree absolutely. Anyone still bound to religion is yet to fully obtain mental liberation. |
Gunayo:That's the simple truth these people are shying away from...! Atiku needs to permanently step back, and recede into the supportive role of elder statesman. He is no longer viable, and clearly not marketable. He should accept this, and quit pulling the party back. Then again, PDP looks dead and gone already. |
They can be merged...! That won't be hard. The hard part would be keeping them together. PDP is too corrupt, greedy, and compromised by APC to see the light... LP is too volatile, hasty, and undiplomatic to play the long game. |
MrJames007:Don't mind them... They don't know the bread helps balance the proteins. Nor be their fault sha... Too much white flour bread and other carbohydrates in their third world diet is the reason for such aversion. ![]() |
gerrardomendes:He is not on the blessed tray na...! ![]() |
Nebes:Why??! There are at least 3 assortments of beef which you can do without any. Bread can stay... One of the meats can be dispensed with. |
Welcome back, Mr. president. Where is the next destination??! There are several other Countries to escape to, and so little time... 8 years is quite short to flex all of them. ![]() |
Nice one... Keep up the good work, Mr. Minister. |
Typical...! Someone might want to whisper to these idiots at home that even drawing against this 'unknown' team is totally unacceptable not to mention losing. ![]() |
swaggerjack:First off, rework that thread heading... It's kinda confusing. I almost didn't want to open it thinking it was another joke. Great topic for discussion, by the way. Honestly, Nigeria is foundationally faulty, and if this faulty system of leadership made worse by astronomical corruption is not corrected, there can be no progress... In fact, there will never be progress. That's why I can't really be expected to support this current administration... And it is quite obvious this tenure will be no improvement from the last. The signs are all too glaring. In the impossibility of the above... Another option is to split the nation mutually. Clearly, this nation was wrongly amalgamated together. Worst still, removing the initial regional governments was the dumbest idea in history, and was clearly done for the corrupt interests of a few. As it stands today, most Nigerians can't speak with one voice... They can't unite to even elect the few good leaders out of their numerous corrupt politicians. The Parliament is literally nonexistent. The last time we had a proper parliament was under Obasanjo. In conclusion, and to answer your question...! If the option of importing leaders and administrators came up, I would recommend the current leadership of either Japan or Singapore... Especially the latter. Singapore was in worse state than Nigeria till they got it right in the place of leadership... Their nation never remained the same. |
Dear Universe... You see those Nigerians on social media??! They are not a true representation of the level of intelligence and character of the rest of us in this nation. I don't understand how a set of people just wake up daily trawling the cyberspace looking for people to bully. These are the same set of people that made one cluelessly dull President sweepingly generalize that all Nigerian youths are lazy. |
Slurity:Obi is dull, corrupt, and unworthy to lead... Agreed! What exactly has that got to do with the truth about transparency in democracy?!! Can't you get the message without focusing more on the messenger?!! Is it right that average Nigerians have no idea what goes on in the nation's Treasury or with the nation's assets?!! This Divide and Rule tactics of those in power have really made many of you blind. |
Beverlyjean:Thank you for clarifying. Point still remains, no party can remain untouched at state level if they don't continue to win the people's hearts... Except they have the rigging capacity backed by the Judiciary and INEC. Prof. Soludo should win the people over as his predecessors did, or APGA will lose that state under his watch. |
lexy2014:Educate them on the meaning of the term "White Elephant Projects"! Nigerians are so easily fooled by noise and propaganda. |
wink2015:Thanks Chief. |
Anambra once belonged to PDP, Prof. Ebonyi used to be a PDP state. PDP literally owned Abia. Etc...! Just deliver good governance, pick a worthy and widely loved successor before making mouth. Pdp talk pass this one regarding Aso Rock, but the rest is history. |
TANID:Guinness wetin??! Lol. Look up people who have walked and walk tightropes for a living. ![]() The man dey learn. |
wink2015:Great points there... But, wetin do your Caps button?!! Posting in all Caps is not just weird, but can make it difficult for your message to get to most, and you made a lot of sense up there. |
We never see a single functioning refinery for petrol, una don already dey arrange another massive cashout for another sector. As long as this nation continues to shamefully or shamelessly import refined fuel, there can be no real economic headway. Let's quit this propaganda and focus on real priorities. |
Slurity:You clearly don't know the meaning of dullness...! Only a truly dull and evil-minded person will take offense at the common sense statement made by Obi above. Maybe you don't know how democracy truly works sha. Every dime spent or removed from the nation or generated should be public knowledge... It is your fundamental right to be privy to the financial status of your nation. |
Lukepeter:Let's not distract or derail from the topic... He and his party are not leading the nation. What they do within themselves has nothing to do with the country. Now, can you mention any advanced nation or progressive entity devoid of transparency in government?!! An average South African can tell you in detail what the nation owns in assets and liabilities, and what most of their elected leaders are currently worth financially...! Can you do the same for your national leaders and government coffers?!! Many of you don't even know what your state generates, borrows, and spends yearly... That is not normal. |
