LOL! Im nowhere near single, ![]() |
I live in Cambridge, UK. Very beautiful city. Home to the world's number one University (My uni, )
|
Malaika and RSA, leave these haters a beg. Most of these Naijas in the forum are plain stupid. They dont know how to argue or praise. Everytime SA is mentioned, they will counter-act by talking about AIDS and crime. Ba tlohele. Rena re ja JOY to the core. Just by seeing these Durbs pics, they become jealous and envious. Monna, kere I went to Lagos and man was I SHOKED!!! Roads have potholes all over, hills in the middle of the road, the buildings are dirty and mouldy. You can even count the number of traffic lights they have. The beach is downright dirty! Ashewo don finnish! Their only pride ke VI and Lekki. Moreover ABUJA!! Yet they have the liver to call themselves thh 'GIANT of AFRICA). They will talk about Ikeja, Festac town, etc but shit, that place is ugly. Come to SA, we have Durban, PE, Cape Town, Pretoria, Rustenburg (Sun City), Entertainment galore!! |
Nigeria has the potential to be the Giant of Africa. Corruption is Nigeria's worst enemy. If ur government can get its act right, you country could be alive with possibilities. I agree with you on South Africa |
My pregnancy was something else, 3 years ago. I went from 65kg to 93kg in 8 months (Thank God its all gone now). I had the biggest tummy on earth and people thought I was carrying triplets. My son kept tossing and turning and kicking. I ate EVERYTHING. I hate eggs with all the might in me but that time, I had bacon and eggs every day. Heart burn was my best buddy. I was -pre-eclamptic. Walked around like an elephant. Cursed anyone that stepped on my toes. I had an epidural because my baby was bridge. He came out weighing 4.45kg. Overall, it was a nasty pregnancy but, thank God I have the most wonderful child ever. |
@Luca Nah! Not dampened at all. . Ig glad it came out of your mouth that you are personally 'have a bias towards any charity in nigeria because of the reputation'. Id be crucified- Not that I care@JJYOU: I said a link where KIDS are branded as witches. Lets keep it in tandem here. AGAIN: to all those that keep enquiring and rendering their support, thank YOU! |
Im glad it took this thread for you to share this info. All not in vain |
I'm not trying to be holier than thou, I am trying to do something here. |
blackspade:It will really take a long time to change their mind sets. A girl no older than ten, branding a 4 year old girl a WITCH! |
@Luca: I got your e-mail and sent you a response. BLESS your heart. Nijacutee: Please drop me an e-mail. @Gamine: I know there are 3 three threads on the same topic. The difference between mine and theirs is that I am TRYING to be pro-active. Not selling my mouth. |
Why am I NOT surprised Hmmmm, NIGERIA NIGERIA!! |
Nigerians! Always defensive and in DENIAL. I am not leaving Nairaland, I need it to de-stress and vent out and I always get helped. Keep going onnnn, Some of you people get so emotional that you do not know how to argue. Why get personal, ![]() NO to a visa-free policy between Nigeria and South Africa. |
This is absurd. What have the KIDS done to deserve this?? |
To those that have been sending me e-mails, thank you. Keep them coming. Much appreciated. @Ikeyman: You just made an educated decision. |
LOL, Gee, thanks, ![]() |
I was NOT trying to score cheap points here people. @ Naijacutee: I'm happy you are seeing where I'm coming from. @Luca: Much as we are raising money from the Europeans, at least someone (Madiba) is behind it. I opened up this thread hoping that something 'fruitful' could come out of it. Keep lashing out and manifesting your stupidity. To those of you who are interested in discussing this issue further and are TRULY concerned, please drop me an e-mail: pmkmathabe@yahoo.com. Let us do something about this. Anybody in the UK? I got connected to Gary (The gentleman behind the documentary) and I will NEED some help from NIGERIANS! I really want to HELP those children!! |
Lady T: No I was not. I do not encourage violence at all. Moreover, Im nowhere near Xenophobic. Epiphany: Im not upset at all, I just give what I get. Immediate karma. Fair, I will accept what I get and I dont plan to leave Nairaland anytime soon. |
That's right, An expected RESPONSE! Be rude all you like. The crux of the matter HERE, is that those KIDS need help! We are doing something about the problems that we have in SA, WHat are the NIGERIANS doing. Stop being defensive a beg! I wish most of you could drop out of the University of Willful Ignorence. Seriously. |
Well, believe what you want to believe. The difference between myself and most of you people in here is that, I am NOT in denial. I do acknowledge that we have our own problems in SA. The beauty of it all is that the problems ate NOT only adressed but, action is being taken. Something that NIgerians should learn. PASSING the bill alone, will not save those children. @ Karmamod (IF YOU INSIST) http://www.soschildrensvillages.org.uk/aids-africa/projects-by-country/aids-south-africa.htm http://www.isisa.co.za/isisa/aids/default.htm http://www.noahorphans.org.za/ To drive the point home FURTHER: http://www.charities.org.za/ Can someone send me information/link where this non-sense is happening in South Africa please. I do know we are notorious for torching innocent foreigners, high crime rate, etc. But to call children WITCHES Hmmmm, |
lucabrasi:@ Luca: I'm not trying to score any cheap shots at all. I was just SHOCKED. Much as as many members of this forum have been making bellicose and belligrent utterances about the HIV issues we have amongst children in SA, measures are being taken. We have so many NGO's which are supporting the children/orphans who are afftected and infected by HIV. Comparing their living conditions to those of the 'so called child witches', man they get 5 star treatment. Yes, we are still fighting to bring the stats down but in the mean time, we are not forsaking them. What I was trying to say here is that there are so many educated and quite well to do Nigerians who can work with the government to curb these barbaric acts and who can try to make life easy for those unfortunate children. When I got to the laboratory today, almost all all my colleagues had seen this documentarty two nights ago. I am so HAPPY because I managed to convince 2 of them to ALSO contribute to this course. I was DEEPLY touched. People should stop haemorrhaging stupidity by trying to divulge. |
RSA, I will be in Durban in December. You know what they call it moes: 'Gauteng's playground'. Closer to us. Sho!! I can't wait. Forget Cape Town. I need the sun man. This country is wearing me down now!! Yoh! Ke bone Milady's in one of those pics. Ah ah aha, I miss SA. Its difficult to get clothing designed for some on us who are curvylicious here. Noh! I have to come home for a bit. Nka lapa!! |
Richguys: Typical. You are singling out just ONE post! What about all them nasty comments that are made about South Africans? Stop being biased. Im protecting my own. Nigerians should keep out of SA!! |
ikeyman00:Ok then, OPEN up a thread, and we shall make a contribution @ Topic To be truthful, it was the FIRST time i saw or heard of something like this in my ENTIRE life. African countries are hardly ever shown these doncumentaries. They are normaly broadcasted int he WEST. AT times, it is to taint our image but in MOST cases, it is to alert the western worlds about what is happening in Africa. The man that started that 'charity' for those children is really putting his life on the line. I strongly believe that EDUCATED Nigerians should budge in and help him out. There are loads of rich Nigerians spread out globally. While the government is 'trying' to sort out this issue (As they claim), I think those kids could do with better living conditions. I'm a full time student and can you believe that after the programme, I called the number that was supplied and pledged to make a small contribution every month?? Those kids are HELPLESS and INNOCENT. I'm a mother myself and I believe that NO child should suffer under the hands of such BARBARIANS!! |
DeepZone:Certainly not as much as they do in Nigeria and if you were fair enough, you would agree with me, Someone in this thread mentioned that most S. Africans don't know what a visa is. It might be true. COnsidering that we are comfortable in our country. We don't have to go to countries like China, where you people get murdered like flies, Which I think you deserve at times. If Nigeria is such a wonderful country, why the hell don't you stay in that nasty place of yours. DAMN!! We are sick and tired of getting these'scam' emails from 'Prince Muhammad', offering you some lottery money. BLOODY scammers. So much for a 'rich country'.I hope the South Africans sign a petition against this. You all should stay in that dirty and CORRUPT country of yours. What was SA thinking? Id be more comfortable having a 'visa-free' agreement with Afghanistan. blackspade:I always get so much satisfaction when NIGERIANS are 'literally' UNDRESSED to double-check if they havent got any drugs hidden under their balls at the Airport. GIves me so much satisfaction. You Anofias. I hope all that double scannings to check if you havent swallowed drugs (bullets) give you cancer, |
sad sad sad!! |
@tpia: Easier said than DONE!! No ARRESTS have been made yet! @Ikeyman and Karmamod: Keep it in context or open up a new thread! |
CHANGE is here. We also have the first black President in our Student Union here in Cambridge Uni. The man is from Zimbabwe and is doing a good job. His name is Caesar Mutambara. |
@Karmamod: Lets not derail please. If you have NOTHING to contribute to this, PISS off please. Its not about SA!!! At least it is KNOWN that we have psycos is SA and SOMETHING is being done about it! The GOVERNMENT is fully involved. The victims get all the help they need to get through their ordeal. The perpetrators are jailed and given appropriate punishment. In Nigeria's case, NO one has been arrested for this. The so called Bishops who accuse this kids are still scot free. It took MONTHS for the governor in Nigeria to respond on the child witched complaints. |
Chaircover I have a 3 year old son myself and I was CRYING for those poor children that were abused and ostracised. In one clip, a pastor made a 5 year old child drink 100% alcohol mixed with his (pastor) blood. I just screamed. A mother cannot live with her innocent child fearing that she will be killed because she is called a witch! The way that they beat up those kids?? And yet they call themselves Christians?? What is wrong with these people?? Where are the educated Nigerians?? You have to do something about this NOW! Its a shame that a 29 year old BRITISH man is putting his life on the line to save these kids. What are YOU Nigerians doing about this. |
OK!! So, what's with the attacks? What have we done now?? |
Forget HIV/AIDS, The Nigerians will flock to SA just to escape their poverty 'riddled' country. Good Luck to the Nigerians. If they end up flocking to SA like the Zimbabweans did, we all know what some unruly South Africans are capable of: Torching up innocent individuals. |

Hmmmm, NIGERIA NIGERIA!!
