The nations we admire today didn’t rise by prayer alone—they put in the work, made the right choices, and followed the principles needed for progress. God has already equipped us with everything required for greatness; it’s now our responsibility to do what is right. Believing that “God can do all things” doesn’t mean a country can continue electing bad leaders, supporting them blindly, and still expect an overnight transformation. Good Christians should think critically and discern when action is needed. Even the wall of Jericho didn’t fall by prayer alone—people were organized, they followed instructions, and they acted in unity and faith. The sooner Christians understand this and stop clinging to passive or limiting religious interpretations, the better it will be for everyone. Don’t choose between “handwork” or “business” immediately. Instead: Step 1: Learn a simple skill for 3 months Pick one that doesn’t take long and doesn’t bore you. Step 2: Use part of the 2m to start a small business connected to the skill For example: Learn phone repair → open a small phone/accessory shop. Learn baking → start supplying snacks to offices and schools. Learn solar installation → sell small solar gadgets and install for clients. This way: You have a skill And you have a business And you depend on yourself, not job hunting You should not rush to spend the 2 million Before you try anything, sit down with a notebook and answer: Questions to gain clarity 1. What kind of daily work do I enjoy? 2. Do I prefer indoor or outdoor work? 3. Do I prefer manual or mental work? 4. What skills do people say I’m good at? 5. The public perception To many Nigerians, it’s refreshing to see a politician “stand up” to uniformed men, since abuse of power by security agencies is common. To others, it’s a worrying show of ego — reinforcing the “strongman” image rather than institutional accountability. My overall view Wike was right to assert civilian authority if the soldiers were acting outside their mandate. But he was wrong in tone and method — such exchanges should happen through formal channels, not emotional public scenes.
