zamirikpo:No you don’t depending on what you were given. If you apply for multiple it varies from 2 years to 10 years (depending on what they give you). You can visit the country for 6 months at a time or less but never above 6 months. So you can exit and visit again and again till the validity period expires. When it expires then you re-apply for a new visa. |
[quote author=Toritse321 post=121555898]Hello all, I have learned a lot Please help with the following 1. Were you given single or multiple entries? 2. What duration were you given? 3. If your visit visa expires, do you need a new invite to extend/apply for a new one? 4. Has anyone converted to a work visa while on a visit visa in Cana 1. Applied for my mom. Chose multiple entry. Submitted Jan 7th, PPR Feb 14th. A month plus 2. 10 years 3. Didn’t use invite so I’m not sure what that means, simply applied for a visitors visa. My sibling and I are PR’s and we just filled in the required information and that was it. Just said she was going on holiday and attached leave approval from work signed by her boss. |
IyaBaxy:CONGRATULATIONS!! I hear Kenya is pretty fast. |
[quote author=Mrsibhans post=119651648]Hello everyone,Happy new year. I need guidance before submitting my application. Actually I don’t mind a fresh set of eyes to assist in going through it before I submit. Also I have few questions. 3) Is newspaper publication sufficient as an evidence of name change? Newspaper publication isn't a legal document, neither is your former passport with your maiden name. You can attach your newspaper publication to an affidavit if you like, I didn't but the main doc IRCC requires is an affidavit for change of name from the high court. |
Abercrome:Congratulations!!!!!! |
Aniejasmine:Sorry “can’t”*** But I’m guessing you understood me despite the typo. Also please seniors in the house, even though IRCC says they don’t have the information saved, can they see the information on old profiles, I mean I can on my end so I’m wondering |
Your profile expired, you can withdraw an expired profile. It'll be there but according to CIC, your information isn't "saved", I'm guessing on their end. Your response is no, you haven't applied, all you did was create a profile and you never got ITA to apply. You can use the same GCKey to create a new profile Samkeniyy: |
Supposing one has a masters and has claimed work experience preceding that masters degree and after it, what is the appropriate response to “State the year you completed the degree which qualified you for the work experience claimed”? |
olalekan9320:For real? I’ve heard of this just never seen it happen. What was your response and how did the story end? |
[quote author=Bybee post=117524951]Dear All, please I want to use proceeds from the sale of my car as POF but I just discovered from the proof of ownership of the car that my name is not properly arranged. My middle name is first, my surname is in the middle and my first name is last. Will this be an issue? And what can I do to remedy it? I’d do a one and the same person affidavit? I’m not sure of another way out of this. But that’s what I’d do anyway, so just an affidavit stating that this person is a the same as this other person despite the difference in name arrangement |

[quote author=GraciousWords post=117510829]Based on what I noticed from my GCMS notes, once you get ITA, the data gets automatically saved in GCMS...... see link and screenshot......including all edits you made pre ITA........ all my plenty NOC changes and refreshed CRS scores from better TEF results were recorded in mine....#MyExperience It's not a big deal, just an audit trail. And IRCC tells you to update any errors post ITA anyway when you submit your eAPR.....you'll be fine provided the correction does not drop you below the CRS of your draw. Okay. Cos me I also made NOC changes after plenty deliberation between job titles and duties. I’ve added an additional work experience after reaching out and getting confirmation of being able to collect reference letter from the company. And I’ve also adjusted and re-adjusted the start dates for my current job as I was rounding up my masters at the same time and didn’t want to have to explain . But I kuku left it there in the end, either way. Was concerned the VO would be wondering what’s wrong with me and why so many changes |
ciwi:If the updated scores are higher, I’d accept it. I mean either way his current scores were good enough to get ITA, unless it’s like almost expired, that sort of situation. I’d accept it jejely. |
Does IRCC log profile updates before ITA? They’ve said they don’t save profile information hence the need to re-enter from scratch after the profile expires. However I saw a YouTube video that said all the updates you make are logged |
patricia23:Please do they have fresh slots every Monday? Cos I’ve also been browsing from time to time and nothing. Not ready to get it done yet but I’ve been wondering how other people are managing to find slots |
Prettiepearlz:You missed it most likely because it quickly went from that to people arguing about when a landed person becomes a PR and all that jazz which was distracting and a lot. It became a side topic, courtesy this screenshot posted in the group. It bothered a friend who’s already received ITA cos she was considering declining it etc. hence my coming on here to ask. |
I’m a member on this telegram group, the discussion today made me so confused. Basically the info a group member shared today says that if you’re trying to claim sibling points for EE, it’s best to get out of the pool and get back in. Versus updating your profile when your sibling lands and this was the cause of the argument. I assumed the whole point of being able to update your profile is so you can quickly update any changes versus having to start all over from scratch to set up a profile. I initially believed as long as you have every document required at the time of submission of application, does it matter if your sibling landed before you created your profile or after your profile was created ?

Dennyjuff:For REAL?! |
Abercrome:Nicee. What’s your CRS score? |
Rapture07:I’d say what’s the validity of PCC in that country? Maybe find out on the internet or even ask around. Some places is a year, others 6 months, so I’d just put that starting from the date of collection. I wouldn’t put the date your residence permit expires since you still live there currently |
ednut1:LOl! Thank you for your contribution. It’s the most likely route I’ll take anyways. If adding after PPR doesn’t work out |
Samuelobiora19:Please is there a link to follow this? So I could get more info |
GraciousWords:I’m really curious as to how they can be added post PPR. As I saw a tweet on twitter by the IRCC handle saying they would recalculate your points if you do that. I’ll probably have to find the link and share. My IELTS expires in April, that’s why I’m not in a hurry to rewrite just yet. I’ve decided if by some reason I don’t get ItA by Jan, I’ll look at re-sitting in February 2023 |

Baztardmods:Maybe get your family people involved? What is his plan for relocation? Like what is he saying? You haven’t given enough information but if I’m going off the vibe of this question, it sounds like your husband is abandoning you? And if that is truly the case, you should find out what his plan is and then get your family people involved. |
Quick question concerning Proof of funds please. So I am Currently working and my savings are in close relatives businesses as Investments. However, I also intend to sell my old car and put that forward as my proof of funds since my salary is used to run my life and cater to bills. Would it raise flags however if I sell my car, submit the necessary documents showing the car was mine and the chèque proving thé sale and then submit my bank statement. I guess my point is will the VO show concern that I just sold my car and am submitting that as proof of funds? I couldn’t just leave my savings in my bank account, because given the way this country is moving mad, you need multiple sources of income. It’s also not going to be difficult to collect my money back but that aside, I had always intended to sell my old car for POF when the time comes. |
Congratulations to the ITA recipients! Things are really looking up |
Backpedal:Sitting on this fence with you. It's coming down anyways, even though very slowly, its sha coming down. Meanwhile i'm a bit concerned about this TEER system that comes into effect on the 16th of November. i've read that it will favour some and not so much others. Please all the EE draw analysts, any idea when it will come below 500? I'm sitting in the 490's and wondering if it will get that low by some miracle this year |
.. |
Gosh it was such a huge drop! Thank God all the same, Atleast there’s hope for a good number of us. It’s just time. Congratulations to all ITA recipients!!! |
I'm considering the idea as well. How is it going for you so far? Lekiboboe: |
Congratulations to the PPR récipients!!! Hopefully this week brings ITA news as well! This journey isn’t for the faint of heart |
