Itel for example cannot open downloaded pictures directly, except you click on the option sav. ng, or gallery before the download, then you can open the downloaded pictures. Still navigate some option on your phone(if not itel) am sure you'll stumble on the option that'll help. |

Nigerian Universities and their lecturers! Notes submission in university? Hearing this for the first time. Gone are days when lecturers are up and doing with real technical ways of assessing students |

Richy4: hmmmm!!!!! I was thinking it was a higher institution
<<<<He should ask u guys to carry out some research,
<<<< Write Term papers if he really wants to read,
<<<<< Do Presentations in front of the class using powerpoint or Charts.... each student will do the presentation for 5mins...That helps to build confidence in students and good grade could come out of it...
Not marking your notes...They have marked enough notes in primary school....this is a UNIVERSITY we are talking about here.... That was why no Nigerian institution made it up to 1000 in world ranking Exactly what he should have done. This an act of laziness on the part of the lecturer. well said my brother! |

According to the statement " for the avoidance of doubt, any screening charges shall apply only to successful candidates who have been issued admission by the universities of their choice". So this means screening of candidates will be AFTER the admission have been granted. If am right why are some institutions announcing their screening dates when admission have not been granted. Is this still another way of extorting money from prospective candidates? |

ADEWUMIMichael: Are you confused about how JAMB will execute the 2016 admission placement? Did you also hear about the point-system? Yes! Many did and actually share in your state of Aporia. It is no longer news that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has introduced new measures for the 2016 admission. Different reports abound on the internet, however, not many are true of the new system.
Here are 11 things you should know about the 2016 admission:
1. Post-UTME examination has been cancelled by the federal government.
2. JAMB did not instruct any institution to make use of point system as admission criteria. The institutions are given the freedom to develop their screening models which must not be in form of examination.
3. JAMB adopted 180 as the cut-off mark for 2016 admission into universities, polytechnics and colleges of education.
4. JAMB would no longer issue any admission letter to any candidate as directed by the minister.
5. Even though the board will not offer admission letters, it has been mandated to provide admission list and album to the institutions. [i.e, JAMB will offer you admission subject to screening by higher institution] You can check your status HERE .
6. The 2016 admission by higher institutions will be based on the 3 admission pillars of Merit, Catchment Area and the Education Disadvantaged Areas.
7. The admission quota as stated by Head of JAMB’s Media and Information Unit, Dr. Fabian Benjaminis: 45 per cent for merit; 35 per cent for catchment area and the 20 per cent for education disadvantaged areas.
8. Universities have been handed the authority to issue admission letters individually.
9. The Federal Ministry of Education and other stakeholders in the tertiary education sub-sector have agreed on N2, 500 as the maximum fee for the post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME.
10. Ahead of next year’s admission, the Computer-Based Test, CBT, have been cancelled.
11. JAMB has announced November 30, 2016 as the closing date for 2016 admission. [i.e no institution can offer you admission or admit after this date]
fact number 9, the N2500 is for screening and not for post UTME

JMAN05: There is nothing wrong with using logic to learn God's word. in short it is the best way of getting the truth therein.
the bible lives us with details that are essential for our service to Him. if God were to write everything in details, can your head carry it? see how the bible we have is generating debates and misinterpretations even on topics that are well detailed, how will it be if more stories were added? even the FULL detail of Jesus gospel will be so big to handle not to talk of other details.
Adam gave birth to sons and daughters. that the bible dwell on the issue of cain and abel, is just for us to learn from it, not that Adam never gave birth to other sons and daughters not long after giving birth to cain and abel.
it is likely then that there had been much persons before cain married. no doubt he likely married one of his relatives.
again, this story is not essential to our worship of God. no wonder God gave less details. You've made valid expository on this post that even a lay man can understand. Nice one! |

All u pple saying wetin una go dey drink, I adviced you to go for water. Somebody said water is not sweet. Don't you know that it is sweet things that kills? At 35yrs, one should desist totally from taking sugary foods. If u're close to 35, start cutting down your sugar intake now, so that it will be easy to totally abstain from such as from 35yrs. It only requires self discipline. A word is enough for the wise. Live heathy! |

Abati is such a ridicule joker, trying by all means to aspire credibility to his 'oga', hence the response. In essence what APC means is that GEJ should come, see and learn first hand credible leadership strategies from the merger party. I trust Lai Mohammed, he will give Abati a reply that will shock him. Am not a fan to any party, but really interested in the way those dudes uses words against themselves. |
Annoying story.
What is it with people living on the breadline, (barely able to eke a living for themselves, let alone support a family) producing like rabbits??
While he and his wife were busy humping themselves silly without protection or contraceptives, dem no remember to call on government, state, and well-meaning Nigerians??
Anyway, I don't believe they didn't know they were expecting triplets.
I think what really happened here was that she / they both went for the scan, were told they were expecting triplets and then the husband decided to 'mysteriously' disappear. A well calculated move on his part, knowing that they'll get more charitable responses if the woman is portrayed as an abandoned housewife with no means of income, left to cater for 5 kids...than him being in the picture.
Government aid ke, individual / group help ni...they better place their sights higher and appeal for international intervention.
|

Christianity Etc › Re: The Paintings Of Hell By A Korean Artist by Annibiteye: 1:54pm On Jul 28, 2013 |
Hell is real. The bible clearly made us to understand that the one whose name is not found in the book of life shall be thrown into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15). God's will is not for anyone to perish, but that all should come unto repentance. That is why He sent His son, Jesus christ to prepare the way for us, so that by believing in him we will not be perish (John 3:16). Its your duty as living beings to obey God's commandments, live a holy life by His grace, and doing those things that are pleasing in the sight of God. The right time to believe God and His promises is NOW the next minute may be TOO LATE. The korean artist revealation should sound as a warning to you and me to live a heaven-bound life. |
