[quote author=helinues post=89608928]President Trump is also not wearing.. Not everybody feel comfortable wearing face mask. It's disgusting to me, hence not any attempt of going out for the past 2 months cos I am not ready to wear one Exactly. I found it a bit discomforting breathing well when I wear facemask. I only wear it when I goes to market and that is like every forth night |

onadana: it's VERY true. I've heard of it for like 7years now. it's no longer new to me, most cow meat prepared for wedding receptions and burials by caterers are been cooked with paracetamol tabs. But I was told that they don't need much, just 2 to 3 tabs to a big pot. |
Health / Re: Many People Are Using Paracetamol To Cook Meat! by Annibiteye: 3:54pm On Dec 26, 2019 |
achiever1991: not new to me , I first heard about it in 2012. Caterers that cooks for large crowd like wedding, burials etc are the ones that uses it most. Although the amount used I learnt is minimal but very effective. Two to three tabs for large pots used in boiling cow meat of medium size. Two or three tabs can be hazardous for large pot of meat. caterers pls beware |
Education / Re: Which Is The Cheapest Federal University In Nigeria Currently? by Annibiteye: 2:24pm On Dec 26, 2019 |
kennyjam: I never knew ABU is this cheap. A friend told me that they don't pay acceptance fee and I found it difficult to believe her, now I know. So with less than 50k or 60k a fresher can pay up necessary fees...mmmh great! When in most other federal university a fresher will need up to 100k to meet up entry fees. But just keep on wondering why the great disparity in acceptance fee. While some pay 10k, some 20k others like UI pays 35k, FUTA I think 40k, ABU is paying zero naira. Haba! This disparity is rather unfair. Thanks for the info! 1 Like |

kennyjam: so ABU fees is this cheap? does this includes accomodation? And what about Dept, faculty, hall dues etc If this fees is actually the current, then ABU is very cheap. What of acceptance fee for new students, how much? 1 Like |

Alexandre7: Yes, that's because winter season is on and one clear characteristic is the city having shorter days and longer nights. Then again the winter solstice is fast approaching that will be any one of the days of 21st, 22nd or 23rd December. So with the winter season in Vogue, nights are longer, hence the city getting dark at 4.30pm Enjoy your trip! 18 Likes 3 Shares |

Education / Re: Ebhomielen Ofure Mary Had 7.0 CGPA At The University Of Ibadan by Annibiteye: 5:40am On Nov 14, 2019 |
[quote author=uzolexis post=83986367] U.I uses a 7 point grade scale and not 5 point scale like most universities. First Class: 6.0 and above ◦Second Class Upper: 4.6-5.99 ◦Second Class Lower: 2.6-4.59 ◦Third Class: 1.6-2.59 ◦Pass: <1.6 you welcome The 7 point system is well analysed above. However the premier University, i.e University of Ibadan have changed from the 7 point grading system to a stricter cgpa point system i.e the 4 point system which commenced with those admitted into 100 level in the 2016/2017 academic year, those set are currently in 300level. In the 4point system, there's no 'E' grade when scoring, the minimum pass mark to be scored is a 'D' grade (45 marks). The breakdown of the 4 point cgpa system: First class 3.5 and above Second class upper: 3 to 3.49 Second class lower. 2 to 2.99 Third class. 1 to 1.99 There's no 'pass' grade with the 4point system. The system has been described by most intellectuals as the strictest cgpa grading system in Nigeria Universities. Presently it is only the University of Ibadan that has adopted the 4point grading system. 1 Like 1 Share |

Well further investigation will unravel this mystery. but Explorers, the pix of the bodies were not shown just the truck. Sure human bodies are in the truck? My thoughts though! 4 Likes 2 Shares |
Education / Re: University Of Abuja Has Increased Its Acceptance Fee (from #4, 500 To 30,000) by Annibiteye: 11:28pm On Oct 12, 2019 |
Such increment are no longer new in Nigerian Universities. UI acceptance as at last N35000, FUTA N40000 and others like that, so if UniAbuja increases to N30000 is nothing new. it's now the trend. once you're aspiring for admission into higher institution s in Nigeria, then you should be prepare to spend good money. That is where we found ourselves as regards education in Nigeria. God help Nigeria! |
