PoliticsRe: What Is Nigeria's Most Worrisome Problem by annyplenty(m): 4:05pm On Jan 20, 2010
with corruption, nothing will work.
PoliticsRe: What Is Nigeria's Most Worrisome Problem by annyplenty(m): 4:04pm On Jan 20, 2010
Nigeria has just 3 problems that ravage her like plague.

first problem of nigeria is CORRUPTION.

second problem of nigeria is CORRUPTION.

third problem of nigeria is CORRUPTION.

that is why I almost wept when the likes of RIBADU had to be haunted by govt. that shows they just deliberately want corruption to thrive.

PoliticsDevil's Advocate Of Nigeria Or Senior Advocate Of Nigeria? by annyplenty(op): 9:03am On Jan 13, 2010
His name is Aondoakaa. I think he has done more harm than justice to nigerian legal system and caused more confusions than tranquility in recent times to nigeria at large.

Now I am not sure if he is not the Devil's advocate.
Christianity EtcCan We Apply Logic To Religion? by annyplenty(op): 9:43pm On Jan 10, 2010
Logic or Logical reasoning is a branch of philosophy that has been applied to solve many problems in science, business, education and many other spheres of life.

What now baffles me is whenever you try to apply the same Logic or logical reasoning to question a religion or a religious act, religious belief, religious quotation or faith, the leaders or adherent of such religious faith are so quick in telling you that logic cannot be so used. the christians might tell you words like "o koja oye eda" meaning "it transcends human logic or understanding" while the muslims might tell you words like " imo l'o ladinni, ogbon o gbe" meaning " religious knowledge holds sway, not human logic or wisdom" but these people never fail to apply logic to their other areas of life to solve their problems and it works for them.

what now baffles me is that, is this a deliberate effort by founders of religions to prevent people from using a very sharp tool of logic to pry their religion so that they can always have "superior religious knowledge" from which they can always feed their followers from, or attempt to hide some knowledge which they believe logic might eventually expose.

It baffles me.
PoliticsRe: Should Nigeria Be On The Terror Watch-list? by annyplenty(m): 2:38pm On Jan 09, 2010
here is a few from the row call

1.  Dele Giwa was killed with a letter bomb in 1985.
2.  Umar Farouk attempted to blow up a plane with a bomb in december.
3. In the same month of december another man attempted to blow up Superscreen with parcel bomb.
3.  three teenagers hijacked a plane because of june 12 election.
4.  militants kidnapp white men for money in niger delta
5. boko haram islamic sects in 3 northern states
6. kalakato religious fracas in the same month of december
7 maitatsine sect war in lagos
8. jos religious riots.
9. the religious riot by muslims in nigeria because miss world pageant to be held in calabar which was later taken to another venue.
10. the stoning to death and burning of a  young lady christian corper by fanatic moslem students in katsina for malhandling the Quran.
11. Insensitivity by our government to all these and many more.

Classifying us might just be a wake up call to out kitchen leaders to begin to do things right. Americans cannot be blamed for protecting dear citizens if we cannot protect our own.
PoliticsRe: Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab Faces Six Count Charges! ! ! by annyplenty(m): 9:54am On Jan 09, 2010
UMAR Farouk attempted to bomb a plane on a XMAS day which was a special day to the christians.

UMAR Farouk did this on a FRIDAY which was also a special day to the muslims.

Thus that Friday and that Xmas day carried a significance in the execution of that act.

UMAR Yar'Adua was not around to attend to situation.

Na so so UMAR, UMAR.

It is only in Lagos you will see people turn an open space under the bridge into their living room. they will bring mattress, cooking pots, stove and other items and live in the open space. So funny, policemen may be passing vehicles around the bridge and do nothing.
