Foski01: I learnt that doing a one year PGC course will not give one an opportunity to apply for PR. Is it the duration of the program that does not qualify one for PR or is it the course?
What if I got a three year Visa to study a PGD only for me to arrive there and do a one year PGC then now work for two years? Is anything wrong with doing this? Will I still qualify to apply for PR? Is there a penalty for doing this?
Is taking a two year PGD the minimum requirement to qualify one to apply for a PR?
Pls Gurus, Help! For the bolded, this is wrong ...u need to decide on what you want with the information u get here eg what's your reason for migrating to Canada. If its PR, we have explain vividly that a 2 or more years program sets you in the right track towards a PR. A year course means you have to repeat this whole process of extending your stay most especially another bank statement showing you can take care of your living expenses for at least a year |

Is an e-signature one of the details to be submitted at Vfs office? Gurus pls help. Thank you Ehh!!! Why didn't you ask before submitting.. For online applications, you are to write your full name according to how it is on your international passport on the line given for signature |

MyRace: Good morning @FrankRobbn,
Ordinarily, I would have ignored and moved on, but I think it is important qe all get some facts straight.
We are all here to learn and share information with one another and sincerely you have done a lot to help people here.
However, there's an attitude which you and several others who because of the time you have spent here believe you are now gods, so nobody is allowed to either "think" or "have an opinion" without an attempt to short them down.
That I am new to Student Visa thread does not mean I lack the ability to think for myself in every area of my life including applying for study permit.
It is tiring that when people make posts all you guys do is look for holes to pick out. Sometimes, just chill and do ypur own findings or move on.
That notwithstanding, find attached the proof to the main position you criticized.
I am very happy for @ObaniDavid's testimony, and if I were him I won't share a screen shot of the letters, haters and doubters should all go and hug transformer. I pray for his type of testimony to happen in my life as well.
Cheers, This does not say an application can be attended to without biometrics. |

It will end in praise My brother I tire o. I wanted to know the magic that he did.. |

Obanidavid: @MyRace
Sincerely, you have expressed my thoughts. I wish to share my testimony likewise that I submitted my application June 4th, received request for biometrics on a Saturday about two days after submission and later got a request for medicals on July 1st while still awaiting the VFS in Nigeria to give my biometrics.
Let us know that no two applications are the same just as our faces differ. The commonest thing I observed here is many people often kill themselves in fear of nothing that exist. I belong to the Winners family and certainly, I believed my application will be different and I will return again to share my final testimony.
Personally, I thank God for the journey so far and appreciate every contributors on this forum. I have learned so much and am indeed grateful. I will return soon before the end of the month to inform the house of my successful Visa application.
IT IS MY YEAR OF BREAKING LIMITS Pls did you do the biometrics and where did you do it pls? |

Mogullet: Happy Sunday my People. Please I have one probelm that I need your advice on.
My passport is getting expired sept 2021 but my PGD prog for Saskpoly would end in Dec 2021.
Please guys, what do you advise I do. I would like to do a new passport and have the visa stamped on it so that I don't have to worry about renewal when I get to Canada.
On the other hand, I being sceptical because I don't know if I can get a new one from our immigration office since the old one isn't expired and I'm afraid the VO may be uncomfortable with me presenting a new passport since the old one isn't expired yet.
Please I need your help to tackle this issue. I advise you get a new passport, you can explain that the other is expiring at so so date and you want a new passport that starts from the date the former is expiring. It's just a matter of explaining yourself. Even if you don't get a new one, you can go to the Nigerian embassy in canada before the due date to when your passport is expiring to get a new one.. at least there, no delays and no shady whatever |

MyRace: I stand to be corrected though, but from IRCC communications, they will continue working on applications, requesting for documents as the need arises until people are able to provide all the documents.
What I can deduce is that people might even get medical requests if they find them eligible while waiting for Biometrics to be done.
However, no final decision will be made until all documents are complete including Biometrics. How can a visa officer attend to an application without a finger print to know who he or she is or put a face to an application. Nothing is done in any application until you surrender your finger print and face. I have a friend that got biometrics since April.. they gave him 3months to get it done. His app still reads awaiting your biometrics. |

Kinzeerichy: Good Afternoon. My medicals have also been changed to pass despite that I have not done biometrics. Is there any meaning to this? I await your response, thank you. Doesn't mean anything... as the gurus have explained. You haven't done biometrics which means your application is still at a baby stage. |
