I'm new here...Thanks for this thread so far. My situation right now is that, my agent and i had a discussion on Canadian permanent residence for my husband, daughter and i, he said he would do it for 3.5 and we started the process, after a year and half i got a call from him for biometrics, we went to Lagos for biometrics, but when the visa came out, it was mine that got approved and guess what I got? Visitor's visa. The issue now is that my husband and daughter weren't given. He promised to do it and ask my husband to come for another biometrics but He's requesting for 3.5 million for visitor's visa. I'm think in of going to canada first and if there's a way I can legally stay in the country and bring my husband and daughter legally. OR should I wait for him to do my hubby's own, then go together and claim asylum? Pls I really need a useful advice right now, I'm seriously in a dilemma

Hello everyone. I have been following the thread and I must say it has been really helpful.
I am a 30yrs old married female with a child. I did my ielts in June and had a score of lrws-8.5,8,6.5,8. Right now my CRS stands at a mere 371 so I am looking at the pnp route.
Now I want to know if there is anyone who is a member of the Chatered Institute of Arbitrators and if you had your CIArb certificate evaluated? If yes does that mean I can claim points for 2 post secondary certificates?

What if I apply with 2 yrs experience,it won't count much ryt? .... Or what if run a year PGD n then add it to the 2 yrs experience..... Am sorry for my questions pls,...I don't just want to travel tru the Student visa platform

I couldn't get a reference letter on one of my employers letterhead. I got it from my Senior Manager on a plain sheet, notarized it and included a bank statement showing all salary payment from my employer.

UNILAG Record's office staff insist that there is no need to pay for WES verification. Mine was sent to WES 2 days ago and I did not pay.

Good day everyone it’s glad to be here. I know I will get a lot of flogs here just need a way forward and your candid advise on what to do? In all honesty I stand by what is right. I have been to Canada and was advised by so many not to go back but me I can’t risk it been in someone’s country illegally. I entered the pool Tuesday afternoon24/7/18 in a bid to update our Wes b4 getting an ITA my thinking is that u can’t get ITA immediately. What I did was that I used our Wes ref no both my hubby and I thou all document has been received by Wes just waiting for the report and also used the date WES updated his account. Hubby has a Masters and I can be classified under two or more degree blah blah blah. So to my surprised we got an ITA yesterday afternoon. I dint bother to inform hubby until this morning. But my people I told hubby we are going to decline it and enter the pool again but we will wait to we recieve the final evaluation result b4 declining as we have 60 days.But he said we should explain to them what happened. Abeg what will you advise? Every other documents are intact.thank you

Just track the request to UNILAG. Usually takes about 3-4 weeks by post from WES to UNILAG. Maybe another [b[b]]-[b]12 weeks[/b][/b] for UNILAG Records Office to deal. No payment except if you graduate from CMUL (N3500).

The cost will vary depending on the bank used. No one can clearly state the amount unless they just paid recently using the same bank as you.

What is the estimate of all you spent outside the Pof?

Hello Oga/Madam,

What exactly is the issue you are having? It is not clear to me. One year Post graduate certificate is okay as long as you have evaluated your first degree too, if not you will need to pay about 100CAD extra to WES and have them evaluate it as well. Then you will be able to claim points for "two or more certificates"

Hello good people. I submitted my WES application today and didnt carefully check that the name on my document is not what I filled in application-the first letter of my middle name is not on my documents like ADEOLU and DEOLU. Is this going to be an issue?? Thank you

I work for the Department of State Security Services for 10 years now. I need to know my chances of qualifying for Express Entry and the possibility of getting PR with this particular work experience . I read somewhere that people who work in Forces ain't favoured in migration/ visa matters. My simulated CRS score is 430, however, I'm still unsure of my NOC. My employer do not give reference letters.

My wife is an Accountant with 5 years experience, however, she only has OND. She will conclude her BSC July next year. If we decided to make her PA next year after she completes her BSC, will my work history still have a negative effect on our application?

Please I need your kind inputs.

Oga why this is the real age 1984 while 1989 is the football age. EE has always been catching up with you guys.

Better stick to the one you can backup with better evidence.
