Nairaland / General / Re: Do You Feel Guilty After Refusing To Give A Beggar Money? by AnselmA(m): 12:43pm On Sep 13, 2013
DarryOsh:

I feel guilty when strangers asks me for directions and i just walk on, ignoring them (this happens quite often. people tel me i have that kind of face that says, "are u lost? let me help"wink . Evil things that happen these days have made things so. I would not want to inspect myself every five minutes, fearing "something" has been lost just because i have been speaking with a stranger.

Naturally, i love to help people but then i have to be careful....... Last week, a little girl called to me to help her lift her tray of oranges. God knows i wanted to help. But i ignored her, I just walked on.....I felt bad throughout the whole day...

God knows your heart but it no excuse to help a little girl....pray that God will help. u know when to help so as not to be a victim.
Religion / Re: Did God Create People Before Adam And Eve? by AnselmA(m): 12:36pm On Sep 13, 2013
it sure sounds like it u are right but I would like to know, do u think it will change anything? the way I see it if God wanted us to know we would have know but in his infinite wisdom He see it as irrelevant I.e if u are right because it would change the fact that we are to serve him and love him just as He loved us. any way I doubt they is any book as old as the Bible oh I mean older than the Bible that will give another clue or hint of existence before existence . and if there were at all the Bible should have more than 1reference to them. and other suggestions try reading how the world was created from other religion and compare ur findings. its good to have the knowledge.

no because some just miss use the money . I maybe wrong cause when I give the money is no longer mine as to care about its use but I will feel more guilt if what o give causes ones death.

Jesus did warn us about the wrong preacher s but come to think of it why compare those days and these days don't you know that the need of the people then and now are different. when you supply the need of the people it will give you the chance to preach salvation.

really I don't know what to say, as right as it may sound it all depends from the eye you use in viewing matters example why is it that the UN insisting that a country should suddenly change its rules to receive help...our race have always being individual. no matter what people say it remains a fact.

Horus: Aluu Community Demands Release Of Monarch

Sat, 13/10/2012

Seven days after four students of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) were killed by an irate mob in Aluu in Ikwere local government area of Rivers State, the community yesterday broke its silence on the matter.

The community denied that its members were involved in the incident and demanded the immediate release of its detained traditional ruler, Alhaji Hassan Welewa.

The people warned that they would not fold their hands against any further destruction of their community and the infliction of pains on them. They urged security agencies to take note of plans to attack Aluu community by some ethnic groups whose sons were victims of the mob action.

Spokesman of Aluu Garshon Benson, who disclosed this during a media briefing attended by the chairman, Aluu Council of Chiefs, Richard Kalu, called for the release of the detained traditional ruler.

Benson also called on security agencies to stop the harassment and arrests of innocent Aluu natives and urged the outfits to carry out a thorough investigation of the gruesome murder of the students and bring the culprits to book.

He said: “It has come to our notice that some ethnic groups in the state whose sons were among those murdered on our soil are threatening to attack Aluu. We really sympathise with them for the loss of their children and reiterate that no Aluu man has a hand in their death.

“We implore them to allow security agencies to fish out the actual killers of their sons, but also warn strongly that we will no longer fold our arms and watch further destruction of our communities and the infliction of pains and injuries on the good and law-abiding people of Aluu clan.”
