Suicide is not an option. Why not change your course? I was a brilliant student when I was in primary school, the head prefect girl, in my junior secondary school too, I was brilliant, I was the social prefect girl. But one thing is, I don't understand mathematics no matter how hard I tried but I was so good with my English language and other subjects. When it comes to debates, poems, and etc, my teachers knows I am the guru. I could finish a 800pages novel within 24hours, I love nature and poetry with all my heart. I had A's in in Junior waec except mathematics. When I got to senior secondary school, I wanted to go to art class but my parents forcefully registered me in science class, that was the beginning of my woes, I failed woefully in chemistry, physics and mathematics. After so much beating and insults from my parents, I geared up and started having D's and C's. Then I graduated, my parents insisted I study Medical laboratory science in the University. Luckily, my uni gave me Marketing, but during our 100level days, we did science courses all through, as expected, I failed again, my CGPA was 1.91 in my 100level 2nd semester. I was down, I felt like a total failure. 200 level, we started departmental courses with some accounting courses, I failed the accounting courses again, despite how much I tried (I'm crying as I'm typing this coz it still hurts). 300level, no more accounting courses, I started passing my courses, giving tutorials to my friends, everyone lucky enough to sit near me knows they are lucky coz I'm not stingy with answers and my answers are always correct as long as it's not calculations. And I don't cheat, i can't even take expo to the exam Hall, my friends know I don't do it. At the end of the day, I graduated with a CGPA of 2.93. second class lower. Had it been I had studied an art course, OMG! I would have passed brilliantly and I would have been at peace with my soul. But I love my course now, if it had been a science course, I would have dropped out of uni. #you are lucky your parents are even boosting your morale. Please you can change your course before it's too late. SUICIDE ISN'T AN OPTION |

CSTR2:. my poo was also hard, i had troubles when i ate beans, bread, akara, carbonated drinks etc. I was placed on drips, about 20bags before i was discharged after a week. Amoxyline/flagyl, omeprazole, antacid (jawasil, jawaclox, gascol), vitamin c, gelucine. Ask her to take ORS regularly, it will keep her hydrated so that she won't take drips. |
It could be ulcer. I've experienced it before, I thought it was pile until I was diagnosed of peptic ulcer, there was even a time it got chronic and I was vomiting blood, very thick blood. Ulcer symptoms may not come with the usual stomach ache, it may be loss of breathe like an asthma patient. Please tell her to go to the hospital for better diagnosis, if it's ulcer, in few days time, she'll start getting dehydrated and it's dangerous. |
Ebenezar2020:I don't owe you an explanation. |

KingTom:Thanks for the correction. May God help us. |
His old pictures brought tears to my eyes, poor boy left to die by people who have been brainwashed and made unredeemably foolish by their nonsense priests or pastors who doesn't value life. Huge thanks to the Danish woman who saved him. May God's mercy forever be on your generation too. It sickens me to the depth of my soul how some Nigerian parents takes their priests or pastors as God. Nonsense. May God save every other children out there that are in the same predicament as hope. |
Mispreeti:Tell your dad the truth |
WalkerMichael:The school authority started with NO TUITION, NO EXAM after the fee was hiked and they stood by their word. I missed my first paper that year because I didn't took the threats serious. Some missed the whole exam, they brought master list of those who have paid and those who haven't paid to the entrance of every examination hall, it was terrible. People were wailing. Though they did make up exam for those who later paid. |
Extremely wrong analysis. 40-50k was paid as tuition during class '14, before they graduated in 2014, we've started paying 65k - 72k in Lautech. I'm class '18, I paid 65k indegene (72k non indegene) till 400level. 500level, I paid 90k as indegene. Now Lautech is collecting around 170k from fresher's and around 120k from stalites as tuition fee. |
