I remember, I shouted this from the beginning of the
exercise but some choose to call me names.. listen, DSS will always do what they know them for,..i took part in the same exercise around 2016 but what happened at the end... disappointment and later a fresh exercise was conducted... God will continue to punish them.

Just rumors man.. allowances can't be stopped that's extra motivation in camp as you know..from the day we enter camp salaries start counting, in the sense that our allowance maybe like 40,or 30 percent of salary and small incentives.. then the Oda 70percent is reserved to be paid in bulk after pop.. make u carry start life.. as an agent. Rent,car anyone u like.anywer ur posted.. or u stay inde dss quarters while u find ur feet and know ur environment well.

Nothing like training allowance again...Am currently training under one of the paramilitary settings. nothing of such has been paid since more than four months in camp but rather, you will depends on your salary alone!

Should we say 849 cadets , detectives & ASO were inaugurated & just 484 cadets scale thru and if yes, wat caused it...? Somebody should explain? I don't understand how could 849 persons started just few made it?

don't mind them brother, I was part of the 2016 exercise,..the only people called for training is the cadet..detective and other cadre was not among

DSS has been like this for many years, this is how it started some years back when I also applied for DSS and having done my documentation wit them, the delay took effect as you guys is still waiting till another exercise was announced...
my advice for you guys to gentle rush and grab prison, Road safety and fire service form or find another thing and start doing.... as for DSS, they are confuse

The last recruitment exercise was not cancelled as claimed by Anusiemgood. There was vetting after interview and documentation.10 Names were sent to abuja and it was cut down to 3 names for each state. Camp opened in june 2016,some guys that didn't even attend the interview later joined people in camp. Some state's candidates later increased to 8 and some 11.
With God, all things are possible,Keep the faith alive.meanwhile get busy with whatever you are doing presently and hope for the best. Don't make this job a "do or die" affair cos this country is full of surprises (godfatherism of a thing) if you get the job, excellent ! If you are not able to get it, it's not the end of the world, it means God has a better plan for you. Wishing you guys all the best.

Brother.. those that went for that training as you claimed was the cadets alone, detective was never contacted after the successful names was sent to them at Abuja until around January this year when the guards who was among the exercise 2016 were invited for her training.... No recruitment was done done for defective!!
