So buying the girl a tablet she probably yearns after and can't even use is just a gift |

Omaobe: Why is this thread so dry and dull? Let's liven it up by posting updates abt d scholarship. I was told by som1 d interview result may b out today. All d best to us all as we wait to receive d good news.its dry because the OP and I are still serving and so did not apply and so wish you guys well and so are busy preparing for next year and so ... |

Cristiano Ronaldo dazzled the supporters at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night with a thrilling treble and he was back in front of the cameras soon after to launch his line of briefs.

Stone123: Hi all, in my own side I've evrything required ready but coming to Abuja for interview will cost me more than £1200 (300,000NGN) & I've concluded not to attend. Please will it be possible for FSB to acknowledge printed forms and documents send to them via post? Please I'd be pleased if anyone who has experience could advise me accordingly.Apparently you aren't in Nigeria. I think a criteria is that you should be currently living in your country. Vivichocs can help us clarify that |
International Superstar Soccer Deluxe on SEGA Rocks!!! The commentary na die He shoots! blocked shot! He shoots! Yes Yes Yes GOAL! Neither FIFA nor PES allows you to turn foul off, pass the ball to your opponent's goal keeper, slide the keeper, collect ball and slot the ball into the net. Mehn na joke oooh, BOTTOM LINE FIFA is better packaged all roundly but PES' gameplay is hotter particularly PES 13. |
Davo93: Really? I thought once the applicants are nominated by their organisations, the nominations go directly to the Commonwealth team... Or how does FSB come into play?FSB is the nominating agency for Nigeria...but like I said I don't know if commonwealth supervises the nomination. |
Davo93: I just hope this is handled with fairness. Infact, i believe it will since the main duties of the processing are not done by the Nigerian government. The BEA Award Processing done earlier this year was crap!I hate to burst your bubbles mehn, but me thinks it's the same Federal Scholarship Board that's handling this as well but maybe Commonwealth go still supervise am sha |
This man is just acting like a puppy... So eager to please his master....Grow up Son... Please ASUU and Nigerian Students and stop licking other people's a... |
vivichocs: I think we are ambitious and a bit impatience toojust google New Zealand Commonwealth scholarship. However I think their academic year starts January so you should be looking at January 2015 |
lol...Make we finish service joor I guess we're either impatient or ambitious .. Take your pick... I'm looking into New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarship sef. I think that one try sha. Only problem is it requires 2 years working experience and adding up my IT is 1 year experience |
vivichocs: I'm a batch A corps member too that's why I'm still skeptical abt applying but may still reconsider shaa since there's no money involved and u can still apply nxt year if this year fails.....the one offerd by schs is commonwealth shared scholarship and this is offered to specific courses, u may check out the courses on their websiteI'm in Lagos ooh, would be heart breaking to reach Abuja and hear nonsense because someone doesn't have Certificate of Service... I've checked the shared scholarship courses for 2013, saw some courses I could fit in, not sure if they've uploaded 2014s' own Anyways have you applied for anyone? |
I checked our nominating agency, and they require NYSC completion by November 2013 I heard they can also nominate persons for the scholarship. |
I'm seriously interested One issue I wanna raise is do we need to first secure admission into the University before applying for the scholarship? |
Lucasbalo: . It's not about reading the thread. Emeka is just a guy with an inflated ego. He is proud and corky for a 21 year old who has not achieve any thing worthwhile in life. He has to be humbled, so he can navigate through life's curves. That's why he has created so many antagonists here.peeps started attacking him he attacked back....Now he has stopped and you still say he has not achieved anything worthwhile in his life ![]() List two things you think you have done better than him? Oh I forgot you can't cause you don't know a thing about the dude... Me ain't taking sides but mehn you need to cool off... I still repeat he made some useful pointers in his first posts.... |
I wish I know where u live, I would have given u a very dirty slap for painting Nigerians in the US in such manner. US is hard, I agree, but to paint a picture of a pathetic living by the so called Nigerians in order to dissuade people from coming is very disingenuous. Ol'boy, there are so many very successful Nigerians out here in the US. Talk about what you know. That you are suffering does not mean that the next Nigerian is suffering. That you see and move in the circle of poor Nigerians does not mean that every other person does. We have a reputation out here. Nigerians are seen as very smart and successful by people from other climes. Perhaps, all you see are people that are just starting and paying their dues, which is normal. If you don't want fast money, which by the way, will get in trouble quickly, you must have to pay your dues. By paying your dues, I mean taking the lowly jobs while you work yourself through school. Definitely, things will be hard for you during this period. But once you have paid your dues and you are focused and know what you are doing, you will be successful. I paid my dues when I came. I worked as a security in homeless shelter, from there, I moved to driving of taxi. While I was doing all that, I was going for my masters in law and also passed the bar exam. Right now, I may not have millions, but I'm comfortable. I don't have the kind of pathetic life u painted in your comment. I make enough money to set up industry in Nigeria and employ people. Why did you lay so much unnecessary emphasis on mortgage? Must you buy a house? Does every Nigerian in the US own a house? Majority of people are renting and they are okay with that. Have you not seen Nigerians that have paid off their mortgages? If you have not, I have. What about cars? Do you assume that every Nigerian has a car note? If that is your assumption, then, you are very far from the truth. Many people buy their cars out-rightly. I did that for two luxury cars. Here is a place that you can buy a fairly used car for $200.00 and many people are going for such cars because they are focused and have greater goals that they are pursuing. Please Mr. Man, if you are suffering, better return to Nigeria. There's no further need for your continued stay. But, many Nigerians, that I know of, are not. US is very tough, money doesn't grow on trees here, but the opportunities are so great and endless that, if you know what you are doing and you are focused, you will be successful. QUOTE me anywhere! By the way, if your uncle and wife are doctors as you claim, I will guess that they are pretending to be poor so that you don't get to ask them for money, seeing how poor and defeated by the system that you are.
you obviously didn't read the whole thread... |
frederal: To who it may concern:In his defense he got attacked first why won't you call his attackers too... I however agree that OP lost his cool and shamefully took to insults.... His first posts are still valid though |
Ms Nas:Classic failed attempt at a joke... |
I remember the first time I entered Federal Polytechnic Nekede (I know its not a university) but mehn mehn mehn I was shocked... The class settings looked like where poultry ought to be kept. Blocks and steel posts constructed to uphold zinc roofs. Just saw pics of my old school, FUTO....LOL OP why you de embarrass my school na.. |
how does a 5 inch device get to bear the name tab ![]() I'm no tecno hater but these guys are becoming a joke...they need some restructuring. You've made a name in the Nigerian market now start doing better things... Enough said.. |
Idowuogbo: So d ogbonge dokita resemble Jesus Christ ba?Jesus said that those who believe in him would do greater things than him |
