And some mofos will be celebrating npower that only pays 30k. The job this girl just got is gonna fetch money in 100s of thousands. The level of inequality in Nigeria is just to much. There needs to be an uprising in this nation. Look at France with lesser degree of inequality, the yellow vest protesters have been on the street for more than 23 weeks and it is yielding results. |
TechCapon:Thats not true... I've lived in Rivers state before as recent as early this year especially, even during the elections and it's not as bad as you just painted it. Especially the Ogoni and Eleme you added. I stayed in those areas and its just like any other Nigerian town. |
Bernard Madoff (the wizard of lies, the biggest thief of Wall Street, ponzi master) complained about a publication that compared him to a sociopath who specialised in maiming and killing innocent women and children. He was furious, he said he never killed anyone, that infact he warned his victims before taking their money into the phoney trades and blamed his victim's greed for their loss. The truth remains, when you commit crime intentionally with the hope or belief that you're not causing any bodily harm as your justification, you're a sociopath. |

The Peoples Democratic Party has rejected the new dates announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission for the conduct of the general elections. It alleged that shoddy arrangements for the elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission was a deliberate agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari to cling on to power even when it said it was obvious to him that Nigerians wanted him out. National Chairman of the party, Prince Secondus, stated this while reacting to the pronouncements made by the Chairman of the commission, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu in the early hours of Saturday that the elections had been postponed. Yakubu said that the Presidential and National Assembly elections earlier scheduled to hold today would now hold next Saturday while that of governorship, state houses of Assembly and Abuja area councils had been shifted to March 9.He added that the action had clearly exposed INEC as a failure and called on its chairman to resign immediately. The PDP leader warned that the party will not accept “anything short of a well organised electoral process devoid of manipulation, harassment and intimidation of voters and the opposition particularly members of the PDP.” |
It's no longer News that former president Aliyu Shehu Shagari is dead and has since been buried, what baffles this writer is the suggestion by a well known senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN) of Yoruba descent, in particular an Ondo state indigene, that the Federal university of technology, Akure (FUTA) be renamed Aliyu Shehu Shagari university of technology, Akure (ASSUTA), in order to immortalize the late former president. To begin with, it is no longer hip, or in Vogue to name higher institution of learning after after a person in order to immortalize them, the Massachusetts institute of technology (MIT), Harvard's and Howard's of the world have existed for so long and have been symnbol of greatness and breakthrough in science and technology, nevertheless their names have never been changed not even to honour even their greatest benefactor or president or former President of their respective resident country. The likes of John D. Rockerfeller, Vanderbilt and the endless list of achievers and philanthropists who have in one way or the other contributed massively and greatly to the growth of this ivory league schools have never been considered with worth naming these schools after and that's in no way belittling their achievements in the world or their contributions to the schools. Secondly, looking at the way Nigeria is, Note, I am a detribalized Nigerian and also a realist, there is no higher institution of learning in northern Nigeria that has been named after a Yoruba elderstate man or former president or what have you or any other southerner. Better put, in the six geopolitical zones of this country, institutions whose name has been changed have been done to honour someone from that region or in a case where the name was given right from the establishment of the institution. This brings me to ask a worrying question, why are Yoruba leaders and elders always ready to sell their people and heritage cheap in order to score cheap political gains? It is these same type of leaders and elders that will utter reckless statement like " one day an Igbo man will become governor of Lagos" in order to court and win the votes of Igbo's resident in Lagos. As earlier stated, I am not a tribal bigot, only a realist who believes strongly in the principles of reciprocity, therefore since there has never been a precedence, my dearest Alma Mater, the Federal university of technology Akure should not be used as a lab rat or tool to score point |

NwaAmaikpe:You share the views of Chris rock... Hilary shoulda been on the d already even after the flashing of Monica's thong, she would only have Bull's short to hold. |
Difference is clear, Buhari went to do begi begi, while Kenyatta went there with an offer. |
I am in a similar strait. When I first met this girl she didn't look like a Muslim, she looked more like a born again church girl until I got closer. by this time I had already fallen in love with her. The difference is she loves me and has agreed to convert to Christianity after marriage but her dad is strongly against our relationship. For me, If you believe it's the voice of God you've been hearing, then go for her. God will arrest her heart and use it for his miracle. |
I enjoyed every bit of the journey from my first read. Karen's reaction remind me of a little episode I once had too. Bro, you should consider publishing, your style is dope. More ink to your stylus and more inspiration. wish you find love soon. |
Ronaldo's move is meant to bolster his claim to greatest of all time. If he succeeds in conquering series A like he did with Portuguese, English and Spanish league, he will undoubtedly claim the prize. I wish him all the best. |
It's been a great read so far... Kudos to you bro, ever thought of a career in writing I believe you'll do great at it. |

Proudlyngwa:your example is just one off! The way shehu Garba said it was without regard for Nigerians. I know for a fact that Nigerians will work if jobs are available. The thing is we should stop justifying the actions of these our inept leaders cos of the inaction of a negligible few. I am not saying govt are meant to provide all the jobs but if they are not smart enough to provide policies that will prompt investment they should at least have some respect for the populace who are bearing the brunt of their ineptitude. |
Proudlyngwa:Oh please! People like you are the reason why these foolish so called leaders take us for granted. So cos the lady refuse to use firewood to cook in this age and dispensation she's become lazy right? Even when you try to do something for yourself they take away the enabling environment. Please if you have a job that you can offer Nigerians pls let us know then we would know who the lazy one is. Idiot like you busy supporting mediocrity |
Kingwizzy16:Very true... It's almost the cheapest part in Abuja city center. Proximity to almost all part and has some cool fun spot too |
Accommodation is cheaper in Abuja, you can work in the city center and live in suleja, jahi, nyanyan and other affordable areas. The good thing is that the transport system is very effective that it will allow you live in these areas and get to work on time |
Having grown old enough to realize that all we were told as kids are all lies, I, a sample of the Nigerian youth population have decided to awake to reality. Firstly, we were told while growing up that we are the leaders of tomorrow. This has become one of the greatest lies ever told. I was born in the early 90’s, so my first encounter with this great article of deception came around 1998 when I was in primary four. I was taught in the then social studies that if we paid our dues of studying hard we will become the leaders of tomorrow. I got more entangled in this article of deception as I developed an apt for reading historical literatures. From many of the books I read, I found that those who were ruling at that time entered into the fray of leadership at their prime, between the ages of 25-35 years. I became more inspired to drown myself in studies, I burned the midnight candle and even when all of the wax of my candles had melted, I’d negotiate with the moon to increase the lumen of the light it reflects to the earth. I paid my dues all through school, even when I experienced some difficulties in securing admission into tertiary institution, I endured still, I went to a polytechnic first then proceeded to the university. I spent seven years in all to acquire a bachelor of engineering degree. Now, reality has dawned, it is a fact that those who held sway to power from the 1960’s and 1970’s, the same group of people who inspired us to study hard so that we will be equipped to lead our dear country, those who’d been ruling from when we were still in cradle still want to lead us even to our grave. |
Saw this yday on fp and couldn't stop reading until I got to the last update. mention me in your next update bro.... You good |
Despite all the bruhaha about buhari's failures, it will surprise us all that the inept and clueless buhari will emerge victorious at the polls in 2019. The reason being that the selfish political elite will elevate the agenda of the North completing it 8 year tenure over good governance and prosperity of the citizens. As much as I hate the apc and it's governance style, I don't see them leaving the seat of power in 2019. |

Omololu2121 drpost=64701309:Bro sit down first then use your head. Think a little, having rights does not equal qualification. Cameroon has the right to be at Russia 2018 but did they qualify ? |
Hi guys! I was with a girl recently, we just became friends not too long ago. Some days back she uploaded a whatsapp status saying she wanted her own Russel Wilson, referring to Ciarra's husband. And I began to tender my application. The moment she heard I was Yoruba she immediately shouted the phrase "Yoruba demon". So I ask what makes a Yoruba guy a demon? |
I believe you'll do great at it.
