AgricultureRe: Man Sees Herdsmen On His Farmland, Confronts Them Gently (Video) by aod1(m): 3:17pm On Feb 27, 2020
During my final year project days, I planted rice to study the effect of treated waste water on the growth and yield of rice. At 5WAP (weeks after planting), a lecturer's experiment donkey invaded my practical farm and destroyed my crops. I was really pained and I learned first hand the kind of agony farmers feel when these nomadic destroyers visit them. The solution to this recurring problem lies in full time ranching.
CrimeRe: Tiamiyu Kazeem: Police Recommend SARS Operative’s Dismissal Over Killing by aod1(m): 12:24pm On Feb 25, 2020
AntiWailer:
Idiots.

Charge him for murder. If dismissal from your work place is the new penalty for killing people, make we dey kill dey go

You trained a M0f0 how to shoot guns and you want to dismiss him.

Have you not sent one Armed robber to the society ?

Time to reform SARS and spell out what their involvement should be and what it should not be.

Special Anti Robbery Squad should have no business chasing unarmed internet thieves in the first place.
Dismissal is the first step. You cannot charge a serving officer to court for offence he committed during service. You dismiss him the charge him. It's even stated in the article

Ewedu people lack originality. They even copied the East when Living in bondange an Igbo movie was produced in the 90s. They realized it was time to start producing yoruba movies.
After Nigeria's independence in 1960, the cinema business rapidly expanded, with new cinema houses being established.[14] As a result, Nigerian content in theatres increased in the late 1960s into the 1970s, especially productions from Western Nigeria, owing to former theatre practitioners such as Hubert Ogunde and Moses Olaiya transitioning into the big screen.[15][16] In 1972, the Indigenization Decree was issued by Yakubu Gowon, which demands the transfer of ownership of about a total of 300 film theatres from their foreign owners to Nigerians, which resulted in more Nigerians playing active roles in the cinema and film.[17] The oil boom of 1973 through 1978 also contributed immensely to the spontaneous boost of the cinema culture in Nigeria, as the increased purchasing power in Nigeria made a wide range of citizens to have disposable income to spend on cinema going and on home television sets.[15] After several moderate performing films, Papa Ajasco (1984) by Wale Adenuga became the first blockbuster, grossing approximately ₦61,000 (approx. 2015 ₦21,552,673) in three days. A year later, Mosebolatan (1985) by Moses Olaiya also went ahead to gross ₦107,000 (approx. 2015 ₦44,180,499) in five days.[18]

After the decline of the Golden era, Nigerian film industry experienced a second major boom in the 1990s, supposedly marked by the release of the direct-to-video film Living in Bondage (1992); the industry peaked in the mid 2000s to become the second largest film industry in the world in terms of the number of annual film productions, placing it ahead of the United States and behind only India.[19] It started dominating screens across the African continent, and by extension the Caribbeans and the diaspora,[20] with the movies significantly influencing cultures[21] and the film actors becoming household names across the continent. The boom also led to backlash against Nigerian films in several countries, bordering on theories such as the "Nigerialization of Africa".[22][23]

CrimeRe: Amaka Nweke: Parents Beat Daughter To Death For Dating Yoruba Muslim Boy by aod1(m): 2:33pm On Jan 10, 2020
IAmStrange:
In a civilization and at a time when boy/girl proximity and relationship is not checked and controlled, what do you expect apart from there being events of illicit sexual explorations, unwanted pregnancies and bastard children?

This world needs a cure and that cure is Imes. Illegal sex has eaten deep into the world and what a calamity that is! It's indeed one of the greatest iniquities man can commit yet many societies take it with levity and the present civilization condones it to a great degree.

I'm not saying this to justify the actions of the mother for of course, hers is even a worse issue. The whole matter is just so complicated and ridden with "calamities" that only the "favoured" seem to realise.

Well, we rejoice upon knowing of the great cure that God is going to send to this world, to cure the societies that embrace it and rid them of the iniquities and problems they've put themselves into.

And indeed, that cure is Imes grin

Imes, we await your coming. grin
what's Imeshuh

Same thing happened to me twice when I was serving. During the first raid in dec 2018, they only stole a couple of old shoes from my room and a few other corp members. The second time the unfortunate thief robbed my room and carted away phones and a bag belonging to my flatmate. Thanks to the cooperation between us and the community, we caught the thief, got all our possessions back and the thief recieved the beating of his life. The people of kalaibiama in opobo kingdom really respected corp members

AgricultureRe: Nigeria Now The Highest Producer Of Rice In Africa by aod1(m): 5:43am On Jan 04, 2020
Urahara22:
I'm curious . Was rice consumption in the 60s low because Nigerians were damn too poor to afford rice or was it low because Nigerians didn't really fancy rice then ?
Rice used to be a Sunday-Sunday delicacy in Nigeria in the 80s and early 90s. But now a staple food.
And pertaining the growth figure, 8million tonnes claim, I'd want to agree cos if you stay around the northern states, you'd experience first hand the number of trucks moving paddy to different milling companies daily. I worked in a balance local government area in gombe mid-west year and I can testify that they were a lot of rice fields and I can imagine what it'd be like in kebbi and the likes
BusinessRe: Nigeria, Sierra Leone Plan Currency Swap by aod1(m): 7:14am On Jan 02, 2020
GreetMe:
According to what i understood. Nigeria did a currency swap with China(chinese yuan) to lessen the dependence on the dollar.

With China being a very important trade partner with Nigeria and Nigeria having the yuan from the swap, when both countries trade, the yuan can serve in place of the dollar(because the dollar is the common international currency)

Since Nigeria is an economic giant in West Africa, Sierra Leone wants to swap currencies with Nigeria, like Nigeria did with China to achieve the same purpose like i explained above. That also means when Sierra Leone is also dealing with China, they can also pay in Nairas since the currency swap Nigeria did with China covers it too.

Dats means it's a good development.

Economists in the house, I no try? Or I no still understand am
and more demand for naira which will in turn improve its value

@OP the fact that he hasn't been releasing meaningful songs lately doesn't mean he has never done evergreen songs that pass great messages with fantastic melodies. I for one have been disappointed in him since last year especially since "logo benz" was dropped. But the fact remains that he is still a legend. Another thing you need to know is that you aren't the one planning his programs, I trust he is working on something to get back to the top

PoliticsRe: Dickson Says APC Is Using Jonathan To Legitimise Fraud by aod1(m):
While I was at the federal polytechnic bida, I contested and won the position of D.O sport of my dept and Gen Sec of my state association without having to meet any stakeholder or godfather. Then on getting to the university in the southwest, I learnt you'd have to bow to some students forming godfathers before you could run for any office, I immediately jettisoned all my political ambitions.
My point is, all these politicians should allow the choice of the people reflect from the primaries up to the general election and half of Nigeria's problems would have been solved.

It's not really a formula, it's more of a conjecture, just like Collatz conjecture. It's more befitting calling it the Chika conjecture. That sounds more proper and would also give his work more popularity. Congrats to Chika.
To give more popularity and value to Chika's discovery, a competition could be put out to professionals all over the world, with a reward for anyone who could find any integer which doesn't follow the conjecture.

Having discovered different conjectures personally in the past, I can say Mathematics is the language of the universe.
All things in life are based on mathematical scales and ratios. The shape of flowers, sizes, radius, scale and ratio of the body parts etc

The Golden ratio, Fibonacci numbers are all cool mathematical discoveries that anyone can measure out and confirm the authenticity on their bodies with the use of a ruler or measuring tape.
like the fermat's theorem which took 300years before anyone could prove.

sizer07:
Op... I have not read ur post but I have jump to answer your question. See real estate since this dullards called govt entered office is not what someone will trow money at hoping it will appreciate in one oh two years time, unless you want to buy and developed in which case you have planned it properly. The biggest mistake I did was sinking my capital back in 2015 in real estate hoping it will appreciate within months and I will cash out. Prior to this govt coming inn. Abuja that year, land business is so lucrative that you can buy, resale and make instant profit within 3wiks to one month. I bought mine at a new layout Orozo a satellite town One week before baba bubu and the cabals where sworn inn. we where all happy hoping with the string measures been taking by this govt in making sure corruption and other vise will be check mate and there will be enough capital in an real estate business, our guest was totally wrong as everything luck up. As we speak a land we bought for 1000sqm @800k, 2000sqm @1.5 .bought almost 15pis of land is now going for 300k n 700k respectively as we speak with pepe eye ,before APC came on board there market value was 1.3 and 1.9 instant profit cash and carry no go no come . Landed business and shares are the two things I will never advice my enemy to venture into. shares is worst. A friend sank 500k on share in an oil company back in 2015, today the share is worth 150k. Go buy sweet toyota corola and stat Uber and see how you will be smiling to the bank every weekends. Thank me letter
thanks
