I got text early this morning from Ubunja informing me of his decision to quit nairaland. The guy is not happy with the constant bans the mods hands him regularly. Hie. Because of the hate and the toxicity on Nairaland be advised that I won't be posting any Miseducations any longer because even the MODS are making my life hell. Can you share with anyone it may concern. Those are the words of Ubunja. |
I'm not a pro-Buhari but I must commend him for getting one thing right. It's only now that I can tell what it feels like to have power (light) 24/7. Full 24hrs uninterrupted power supply since I was born. I've lost count but it should be up to 1½-2 weeks. Thank you Buhari. Power+Data+Good network coverage is life! |
Trump is like not going anywhere. This impeachment remains the most partisan impeachment in the history of US. Following this trend, Trump is likely not going anywhere as there are more Republicans in the Senate. Even if he losses tonight, TRUMP remains the POTUS

As we round off 2019, most of us have drafted plans on how to perfect our 2020. Below are mine; 1. Hit the gym This is a plan have had since 2018 but couldn't keep up with it. Got some bars at home but I'm not just that disciplined enough to follow the routine regularly. To avoid repeating this same failure, I will register in a gym and hire and instructor cum 2020. 2. Try clothing business: I will open a clothing business towards February or March. I will let babe handle it, she is quite enterprising but I want to test her limit, (how she will be able to cope with multitask and pressure, how she can comfortably float a business while studying) 3. Guide people on how to make money online legitimately Towards June, (I propose I would be less busy then) I will teach as many as willing nairalandes how to make more than 500k monthly just working 1-2hrs daily from your PC. I plan to create this thread on romance/business section and promote the thread for 6 Months. So help me God! Share yours guys cc Dominique |

Blakjewelry:There is a job opening in Port Harcourt that was sent to the girl, she is currently in Jos while my guy is Enugu. Being out of convenience for her, she sent the opening to him and urged him to apply. My guy turned down the offer politely, complimenting her Guy: "...thanks sweetheart, you will make a good wife, can't wait to wake up next to you for the rest of my life..." Girl: lol, thanks, not ready for marriage Sha... Guy: What if I'm ready?.. Girl: even you know say you never ready come 2021 Guy: what if I tell you that it's today we are gonna marry? Girl: Lol. I'm not ready to suffer a second time beko... That's how the conversation went, I rephrased most of the sentences as I can't remember all exact words. NB: I heard all the conversations, he was playing music through Bluetooth from his phone connected to the home theater when the call came in. |
"I'm Not Ready To Suffer A Second Time" What Does it Mean When A Lady Says This? My friend has been down since yesterday. He was talking over the phone with his girlfriend friend, in the course of the discussion, he chipped in marriage to the girl. The girl stylishly told him "she was not ready to suffer a second time". They both laughed over it then. Both the guy and babe are from poor backgrounds but the guy is gradually hitting it steadily recently (though he has kept this from the girl) I don't even know put this to the guy as he seams hurt by the statement. Me: "It's nothing, just a way to "ginger" you to hustle or you want make she come your house come suffer"? Guy is seeing things from a different angle. |

Ten years after he was first arraigned before a federal judge over a multi-billion naira money laundering suit, a former governor of Enugu State, Chimaroke Nnamani, was re-arraigned before Justice Chuka Obiozor of a Lagos Division of the Federal High Court on December 4, 2017. NEWS9NAIJA reports that Mr. Nnamani, who was governor of Enugu State between 1999 and 2007, is facing a 10-count charge of laundering N5.3 billion instituted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. The former governor was first arraigned before Justice Abubakar Tijani in 2007 alongside Sunday Anyaogu, his aide; Rainbownet (Nig) Ltd; Hillgate (Nig) Ltd; Cosmo FM; Capital City Automobile (Nig) Ltd; Renaissance University Teaching Hospital; and Mea Mater Elizabeth High School. Some of these companies like Rainbownet, Hillgate Nigeria, Cosmos FM, Capital City Automobile Nig Ltd, Renaissance University Teaching Hospital, and Mea Mater Elizabeth High School pleaded guilty while the case of Nnamani is still ongoing. His forfeited assets are undeveloped properties and transmission equipment of Rainbownet Limited; property of Hill Gate Investment Limited/Cuena Phones Limited; assets of Cosmo 105.5FM, and 22 duplexes at Ebeano Estate (now Fidelity Estate). Others are Rainbownet’s shares in Zenith Bank and Guaranty Trust Bank, with a combined account balance of N4.6 million; as well as money in its bank accounts worth about N34.8 million, and balance in 10 accounts with Access Bank. Rainbownet’s undeveloped property forfeited include 7 plots at Independence Layout; 567.96 Square metres (Sqm) at Abakpa; 574.96 Sqm at Emene, and 2,951.98 Sqm, at Achara Layout. Others forfeited include thousands of square metres of properties at Abia State, namely Ogbor Hill (914.633), Abayi (one and half plots), Port Harcourt Road (1,856.449), Ariaria (640.32), Umuagari (573.263), and Assannetu (954.396), as well as Abakiliki, Ebonyi State (one plot). Also, in Onitsha, Anambra State, are Barracks (one plot), Nkpor (1088.644), Awada (465.14), Fegge (one plot), as well as 2,200.06 square miles of land at Okpumo, Awka. With these properties already forfeited through a plea bargain which saw some of his pleading guilty, I am afraid, Chimaroke Nnamani may be convicted. These forfeited properties must be returned to Enugu state at the conclusion of all cases. https://www.news9naija.com.ng/2019/12/14/opinion-could-chimaroke-be-the-ex-governor-to-be-jailed-see-list-of-seized-assets/amp/

The Speaker of the Taraba state House Of Assembly, Petre Abel Diah, has on Sunday resigned his position as the Taraba State Assembly Speaker on personal reasons. The resignation however, came after several unsuccessful attempts to revert the impeachment plans against him. It is alleged that Gov Darius Ishaku sponsored the impeachment plan against the speaker, however, the Governor has denied such claims. The relationship between the Governor and the Speaker went sour after a failed attempt by the State Assembly to impeach the governor on the Speaker's Promoting. The Majority Leader of the Assembly, Joseph Alkinjo, is likely to be sworn in as Speaker today. https://www.news9naija.com.ng/stories/just-in-taraba-speaker-resigns/ |
Sen Okorocha has reacted to a statement credited to Gov. Ihedioha of Imo State describing the Sen Okorocha as a man who rode on the popularity of an essentially Igbo party to beguile Imo people but who turned out to despise everything the Igbo hold dear." Okorocha has urged the governor to face politics and governance and stop attacks on his personality saying that the whole thing was becoming nauseating. Speaking during the 2019 Ahiajioku Lecture on Saturday, Ihedioha described the former governor's two tenures as 'year of locust'. The former governor, whose statement was issued by his media adviser, Sam Onwuemeodo, said the reason Ihedioha was always complaining about his administration was because “Ihedioha is governing Imo State with a stolen mandate. Since then, he has never slept with his two eyes closed. He has remained haunted by that electoral mishap. “What happened in Owerri on Saturday was not Ahiajoku Lecture but a get-together by the PDP bigwigs and they were assembled by Governor Ihedioha to abuse the former governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, the APC and the Party’s leadership at all levels. https://www.news9naija.com.ng/2019/12/01/leave-me-alone-face-governance-okorocha-tells-ihedioha/ |
