jnyuwa02: We are all in the same boat oh my brother, looking unto God the author and finisher of our faith to come through for each. It’s my first and hopefully only. USASK, Masters in Public Policy, Public Health Emphasis. The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, but the Lord who has mercy. This saying is apt when it comes to Canadian study permit. Did u need to look for a supervisor before applying to this course |

SirVal94: Keep mailing professors. You only need one to reply and possibly fund you. The composition of your mail is also important. These professors hardly have time to read long mails. Your mail has to be concise. You may also add your research publications/conference papers as an attachment, if you have any.
The point is how different is your letter of introduction different from other applicants? Professors receive loads of emails from prospective students on weekly basis, and the most difficult challenge for them, in my opinion, is identifying the right student. So you have to get it right from the first mail you send. Your hustle go pay one day. Please can I pm you? If its possible for you to just take a look at the email for any corrections. Please and please, I would really appreciate it. |

blaugrana82: why not apply to USASK?. Tuition fee is cheaper and the application process isn't that tedious. Most times they'll only charge for application fees when it's almost certain you'll be offered. You'll just have to fill the Pre-qualification form before you'll be given the go ahead to apply if you meet up. All the best Wow. Thanks so much. Doing that right away |

Olayemudia: What does it take to apply for masters admission? Is it not a matter of uploading some documents and paying a fee?
You should be able to get reference letters from your undergraduate lecturers and draft a statement of purpose (if required).
I hate paying for what I can do myself. For my course of study, I need supervisors before I can even begin applications |

Lagos2canna: Did you pay him for his service? what's your arrangement with him(admission and visa)? is your admission letter out? The country is hard now so once you contact any agency about Canadian visa they will make you believe that the one they processed last month is out. Do it yourself and forget about the agent if you haven't paid. Just admissions and I gave him part payment hoping when the admission comes out, if complete it. Now the guy is just being difficult and I dont know what to do. I'm feeling maybe the admission didn't work out and he's trying to dodge or something. But isn't telling me the status of the admission an easier way to go? Maybe I should just start contacting other potential supervisors for graduate school next year Sept just in case |

I'm tired guys. I really am. I think someone should start a thread on Canadian graduate applications and guidelines. I applied to Manitoba through an agent and the idiot has refuses to release my application username and PW so I dont even know if I was accepted or rejected.
Trying to take my L in peace and move on but the stress to find another school, another masters program, application fees and all that is just weighing me down walahi. It will end in praise sha |

yuloz: Yes some do, Mostly colleges that give admission quickly or if you applied to schools that require $10,000 CAD deposit and above such as VIU, they are quick as well.As a matter of fact mine took more than five months because of my mix up. I had to contact them before the issue was fixed. So, contact your school Okay Thanks. Meanwhile let me try an apply to oda schools to broaden my options. Can rely on one school alone |

seyewest: You attacked the thread and now you're talking about comprehension when I was trying to defend it... You need to understand this thread is free for everybody, no one on this thread is trying to intimidate any applicant also there's a process to U.S visa application which means you need to go through the thread or U.S Embassy website to understand what it's all about and some people will still be asking for solution to the same problem that was solved on the same page which is frustrating. You were not trying to defend the thread else you would have seen I was trying to contribute and harmlessly point out some things I had noticed. Instead, you were trying to defend your supposed knowledge of something which I'm not debunking o, I'm just saying people should be a little open-minded and positive. I wasn't even specifically referring to the admins here yet you were quick to get defensive for nothing. Anyway, I've dropped my point and I'd be omw. As a known personality on this thread, you should try to be a little more positive and instil a little confidence in people who come here to ask questions. Give your advice but with a little boost of confidence and positivity. Would go a long way to help the people who trust you enough to ask for your opinion. Just my ¢2 sha. |
