Family / Re: My Neighbour's Wife And Her Wahala by Aplaudez(m): 9:25pm On Jun 22, 2023
Adonispco:
Am sorry for my writing pattern; I am in a serious dilemma since January.

I live in a face me I slap you house with just four co-tenants and the landlord.

There is this neighbour of mine that parked in on December 2021, a married man with three kids; two daughters and a son,the eldest daughter should be around 14 years old while the son and the last daughter should be about 4 & 2 years respectively.

We where living in peace although one has to make tolerance a friend for there to be peace.
These my neighbour's eldest daughter to be honest is morally bankrupted, she steals and lies without remorse.

My neighbour's wife always try to cover up her daughter bad behaviours. During christmas time 2022, I noticed a sudden suspicious behaviours from my neighbours wife towards me in particular; she does as if am a diabolic person, as a cool headed guy I focused on my life until on January 21 2023 when I heard the worst words towards my dignity and reputation as a common person;

Fellow nairalanders guess what? My neighbours wife accused me of poisoning his two little kids.

As a cool guy and from what i learnt never to take action when angry, I maintained like its nothing but told our landlord.

My neighbour who is a driver usually travels and can stay there for weeks, so I have to wait for the man of the house to return and hear from him before taking action, so on 29 January he returned, a general yard meeting processed; he was asked to explain more on the accusation from his wife towards me and this was what he said;

"Someone in our yard premises poisoned his children using mirinda and biscuit" that we all are lucky nothing happened to his kids otherwise he will call the police to arrest everybody in our yard.

When asked how he found out that it was someone from our yard and what sickness his children suffered; he said that his children were vomiting blood in the middle of the night, and he went to a spiritual doctor who told him that it was someone from the yard he lives in.

Please Nairalanders what will I do cause I have tried to let go of this heavy accusation but it havent been easy and to make matters worse the once loved innocent easy going guy have become a depressed soul due to the crack on my previous solid reputation.

Please anyone with a good pragmatic solution should help a brother.

So someone that is living in a face me and slap you apartment could afford a lawyer

I don't want to say you're mean towards op undecided

Events / Re: How Partying Is Ruining Some Nigerians Financially by Aplaudez(m): 1:41pm On Jun 21, 2023
helinues:
How many parties do you attend in a month, for the party goers, average of 4 times. You will buy cloth, sew it, probably buy new shoe, gift the celebrant something, spray them money when they are dancing all because of plate of rice with chicken and 5 bottles of beer.

Do the maths, cloth 20k( level dey but on average), new shoe 5k, gifts 5-10k, spraying of money 5k. Let's say N35k.

Please how much are they selling food at restaurants abi na how much beer cost for bars that you are wasting your hard earned money on partying?

Don't get me wrong, partying is part of social life but it shouldn't be a hobby cos it's expensive. That money could have done something meaningful than wasting it on hours event .

How about the preparation for the party, imagination of who would be at the venue and how to relate, infact, you might even meet those who have been looking for you for long as some people have now turned begging to a professional job.

It doesn't worth it

I was ashamed to visit the hospital and was rubbing funbact a on it….. the funbact clears the blister but just temporarily

After then someone prescribed a drug for me which I used it, it cleared the blisters but after a while they resurface but not like the first time…. the blister will grow then pus will on be coming out of the blisters on my scrotal sack and my penis

Mehn I’m so boxed up on what to do right now can’t even have s.x with my girl for some months now cuz I’m scared I minght infect her

So inconvenienced as the pus is afflicted with pains im experiencing pains on my divk and then can’t even relax properly most times

Is showing as its going but the pains I’m experiencing now is out of this earth I regret doing that shit

Please what should I do?

Lemme start by saying congratulations, you're now a man!

What's happening to you is just a minor thing you don't need to go to hospital, you'll just waste your money.

Get a satchet of chloramphenicol and a bottle of dry gin be it Chelsea or any gin.
Offload all the 12 or 10 tablets of the chloramphenicol into the gin bottle, and shake very well, and then drink all the content, I can bet my balls it'll dry up before 24hrs.

Don't forget to share your testimony with me.

Cheers!

Ismael97:
I've never been loved because I don't know what love means at all. I was a posthumous child. Lost my dad when my mum was pregnant. Shortly after birth, I lost my mum. I have no siblings. I lived with relatives who maltreated me so much that I thought they even had issues with my late parents cos I have never seen such dehumanizing treatment before except only in movies. Up till now, I hate people due to the psychological impact of the maltreatment I got from the people I lived with. I like been alone most times because I trust nobody, I can't confide in people because I feel nobody got my back. I was so determined to at least get education for myself and today I am glad I did. However I am still struggling

Don't give up bro, there's light at the end of the tunnel, you'll be great!

Romance / Re: Why Do Men Agree To This Nonsense Arrangement? by Aplaudez(m): 7:01am On Apr 13, 2023
Rokiat:
Because those men are actually smart and understand how a woman’s brain works. The moment a woman start contributing in the house she will now think she’s the leader of the home. Her respect for her husband will start to diminish this is just fact.

That is why a true masculine guy don’t care for a woman’s money what he want is a woman that will bring value to his home because when you as a man become too lazy as to depend on a woman to help you run your household financially one of two things happens

1 She lost total respect for you because now she feel she don’t actually need you. She will start undermining you, talking to you any kind of way thinking you both wear the pants in that relationship. Some men think they can cheat the system and just married and lash on a woman. I laugh grin the moment anything goes wrong the woman will be first to yell out all the things she’s doing, even if she only does 20% this is just how women are. They will subconsciously resent you because this is unnatural. The woman is not designed to be the leader, the provider, they are just not. So if you try to use her for that, guess what, you wouldn’t get the results you want, trust me on this. A man can be successful, provide for his family and not put it in nobody’s face what he’s doing because it is not that serious to him. This is what God designed him to be, but that’s not a woman’s God given role. God is a powerful force guys and you really can’t cheat divine order. And now we think we can rewrite the rules which is why most relationships are failing miserably.

2 She wouldn’t be able to pour into her house, her marriage, her children, and herself as she should because she will be spending more hours at work trying to help you contribute to the household it’s just impossible that she will give 100% to her home as she’s supposed to. This is why women don’t naturally make good leaders because they can’t do it all be a homemaker and then go to work and be a leader. That is why they become emotionally in those leadership roles because they are overwhelmed. Don’t argue with me argue with your keypad.

A woman’s achievement and money don’t mean Shi..t to a real masculine man because he don’t need it. That don’t mean Shi..t to them. An uneducated woman who’s broke and never been to college don’t work but can cook, have good maturing skills, a good mother, fine as hell, good in bed, will always get the better man than a woman who’s hella accomplished and is totally out of touch with her womanly side and roles.

You can’t cheat divine order. This whole switching of roles is the number one issues in relationships today.
That is why the west most of them have the highest divorce rate and hella unhappy in their relationships.

For the fact that you're a lady, you're allowed to say this.

Gerrard59:

This is the koko. Are the men prepared to partake in house chores? Are they OK with assertive and somewhat opinionated wives? Money gives people confidence and makes them bold and assertive. Are Nigerian men prepared for that? Because let's be honest, the moment she starts contributing financially to the household, she will demand a say in how things are run. The idea of siddon look and Agama-nodding to every idea and declaration by the man would fly out of the window. It is like a company. The moment you become a major shareholder, you begin to question the CEO on the moves he takes because you have a financial stake in the company even if he is more experienced than you are.

Are our men prepared for that? Na why anytime una say women in the west contribute, I dey laugh. Una go fit be like western men? Una go fit allow una wives question you on things in the house? grin

What's your point huh

Family / Re: Should I Allow My Mother-in-law In Our Home? I Need Advice by Aplaudez(m): 9:54pm On Mar 29, 2023
ozalogbo:
I am the first child of my mother, and I have two younger male siblings. I am doing well financially. My wife is the last of four children in her family. My dad died when I was still in the university, and this affected my mum.

However, as she aged, her health waned. She was a retired teacher. My brothers are not in the country. Both of them are in Europe. I wanted to have my mother stay with me in her later years because of her health and loneliness but my wife did not want it.

Whenever she was ill and I brought her home to be with us, my wife was usually hostile, especially if my mum had stayed beyond a week. She did not hid her disapproval, and this caused problems in the marriage. People advised that I should send my mum away and pay someone to live with her and take care of her. They said that marriage was between a man and his wife, not between a man, his wife, and his mother. I did and peace returned. Eventually my mum passed on after a few years.

Along the line, my father in law also died. And down the line, my mother in law's health began to deteriorate. We live in the same town. Among my wife's siblings she is the only one doing quite well. Now there are suggestions that the mother should come and live with us so that my wife can give her proper care. I believe that her living with us and seeing her grandchildren will help her. And indeed i have no problem accepting her, but when i remember the treatment my wife gave to my mum, there is a strong revulsion, in fact, anger in me. I shared with a friend, and he advised i forgive my wife, but the revulsion is so strong that i would feel cheated if i agreed.

What do you guys think. She reminded me then that marriage was between a man and his wife only. Shouldn't this also apply to my wife now?

If you ever allow that my head will never forgive you!
