So the main thing is for you to know how to create, float and manipulate boxes in HTML that's all. You only include webkit and moz even 0 so that all browsers can interpret your box codes correctly. Go and learn "Transtion" and "Transform" in HTML box model you'll understand better.

If you read through the topic from the first page you shouldn't have any issue. The Title is inside the head tag, and the content(written content) placed inside the title tag is displayed in the browsers window(at the top left corner of your web page).

mk82: It is not necessary to save ur book in HTML format. You can upload directly as a MS Word (97-2003) file. Saving to HTML is only needed if u want to view it on ur PC b4 uploading to Amazon.

sunday478: yes, torrent downloader are use to downlaod large files, yo can still use it for small one though, as for Adobe photoshop, considering the cost of internet in this country, I will advise u to buy a copy of the CD and use, I got my Adobe photoshop CS6 extended for 500 naira, a friend but it for me from lagos, I stay in otukpo benue. So try and ask in software shop in your area or tell them to other for you, because the Data size is much(1.xxGB). Except you are using a wireless and a superfast ntwrk.

How to use utorrent. If you dont have it, download and install it, search for a file u want to download, make sure the file is a torrent file, may be u want to download photoshop, after seeing it on the site, if it is a torrent the site may indicate, click and download it(the size of this one is relatively small.) after downloading this open, it will start downloading in your utorent.

@sunday and ade, I didn't really take a look at the kind of site ade is constructing. If it's an interactive where you post comments then you don't only need Js and Php, you also need a database language like my sql and co. Make una two collabo, una go make a hood team.

Learning these things would take sometime, but just keep your head up.

If I am to build that kind of site for you, I may even charge you 70k that's the truth man. So let that ginger you to trash this web design and development well.

Also your (link rel, href , and type) should all be in place. Don't forget your closing. Slash tags. "/"

When you get to Javascript you'll understand better, it's all about Form validation. Don't stress your self. My guy just understand the basics in HTML and CSS, then you'll approach JS.

Arlex: pls sir enlighten me more on d aspect of this html, do they download the html to d notepad or does it come with d notepad?

The notepad all ready contains the HTML format, all you need to do is open your notepad, save the page as an HTML extension. Ex page.html then return back to the page and start coding.

@Jay, Please read from the beginning of CSS on this thread you'll find what you are looking for. Personally I use div I'ds as the overall container where I place my div class inside.

Greatihex: @op, i no undastd anytin at all about the doctype of a thing.

The Doctype declaration is a standard HTML procedure, it's a "must". It's used to declare the HTML document, it's a standard web practice. Do not forget to include it in your HTML document, or else your whole HTML page would be rendered as "quirk mode" , meaning the browser can't actually understand and process your HTML document.

Although I advice you to use the doctype declaration for HTML 5, it's easy to remember and also standard.

Start reading from page 0, clam down! All these things had already been stated.

For your num 3)

Select the TOC(table of contents) , click insert, enter bookmarks , add bookmark as "ref_TOC".
Then go to chapter 1, but this time around not on the TOC rather go to the main chapter 1 where you will start writing your contents(words), also select this chapter 1, insert bookmark and add as "chap1" mind you no space and no quotation mark I only used it to emphasize. NB that we are not on the chapter1 in the TOC yet.

Ok, now go to the chapter 1 on the TOC, click insert , add hyperlink , you'll see a "link to:" tag at the top of your page then look inside the "select a place in this document" you'll see our "chap1" that we added as a bookmark earlier click it and press ok. You're done.
