This confirms the fact that APC are behind ASUU, if you like criticise me for saying this. When Gej made mention of the fact that ASUU strike is now being political people thought the man was drunk, hope we can see that now.

These miscreants called ASUU has really gone far this time around. To me, they sound APC like cause as far as I can remember it's only APC and their lap dogs that doesn't see anything good in the FG and yet they claim to have the interest of the nation at heart.

Common bursary they can't pay us, then na yeye scholarship. Abeg! Make I hear word.

Each school has their different criteria, I advice you to properly check the current jamb brochure for correct details.

@op, even on newspapers both hard copy and also on their online pages you hardly come across EDUCATION section, when ever they have something to say on education they just attach it to the corner of the back page. You only get to see breaking news like "ASUU strike has been called off" on the front pages of newspapers and magazines. Fashion and music has taken over the whole place and yet we want to be among the worlds top 20 countries come 2020. Every youth out there wants to audition for music, fashion...etc competitions only a few take education and skills acquisition seriously.

Make I add my own. I attended a govt, secondary school, you know say thursday and friday nar for muslim prayers. So on this fateful day the muslims were reciting "astaga fu lia" which if I can recall is a prayer for forgiveness, ( apologies to all the muslims if I got the spelling wrong please I respect you all and by no way mean any harm). So I and my friend were staggering as the prayers were on-going,we normally do it because by then the prayers sounded like "I stagger fu iya" oboy! My fine art teacher located both of us and gave us 12-12 each in front of the whole assembly ground bros! Since that day I received the anointing of the fear of God in my body.

And also noise making wasn't really my thing but I can't forget my Jss3 experience my class as at then was the next to the principals office omo na every now and then dem dey wipe our back till we crossed to SS1. Rotl

Just to say it the way I see it, I don't see an end to this strike this year. So students should keep calm and get ready for 2014 resumption.

@ prof, sire! Of a truth we are certain that the current ASUU strike isn't and wouldn't affect the politicians (polithiefcians as we normally call them ) who are the main cause of this madness. So please sire! let's soft pedal on ourselves (ASUU, the affected parents and students) and not further harm ourselves. We know the FG is incompetent and wasteful but at least just in-case of a next time ASUU should direct all universities to graduate their Final year students (2nd semester) irrespective of the timing of the strike action. I'm sure those in their 1st semester final year would be able to understand the situation.

@ Prof. You made mention of the fact that the current Final year students wouldn't benefit from the current ASUU strike, I also believe the current 300L students (sadly which I belong to) wouldn't really benefit from the strike too. But my question is this why did ASUU not allow the current Final year students write their Final exams and graduate peacefully instead of frustrating these lads. I see this as sheer wickedness. You people got this one wrong, I tell you most parents whose children are currently in their Finals now have doubled their labour just to be able to meet up with their needs. The elapsed time has eaten deep into their pockets, go the market you'll see aged men and women (60-70) telling you how ASUU have destroyed their plans because they see no reason why their Final year children were not allowed to complete their programme and come home in peace. I don't know what nonsensical and un-professional point ASUU wanted to prove, but I tell you ;you people got this one wrong. This is my own side of the story.

Summary: ASUU should have allowed the Final year students complete their programme. We the 300L students downwards can understand the situation and peacefully relax in our various houses without breaking a sweat.

@ Mr Op, I want to believe that the affected universities in one way or the other remits/return some huge funds back to the FG either annually or per session. Now, can't all the affected schools literally sit un-top(to seize) these funds and tell the FG to do the right thing hence the funds wouldn't be released to them. If this is however possible I believe with the backing of the Labour union, human right activists and even we the students this strategy would yield positives. Please sire! Educate us more on this line of action.

About security situation in Nigeria: we claim that we are fighting boko haram with everything we have... How do we fight boko haram effectively when they still have recruiting grounds for potential insurgents due to lack of education? It should be noted that before we can overcome the menace posed by boko haram, we must invest heavily in educational sectors so as eliminate recruiting ground of boko haram... I rest my case for now

Strategic planning my brother, if you have N100 at the moment you can kill 3 birds with that one stone and later face the rest squarely. My friend when you're spiritually carried you'll know when some strange powers are operating. When you ask some people what religion they belong to they'll quickly tell you they're christians my brother don't be deceived cuz even the devil goes to church. In summary, I'm not judging I'm just laying out the exceptions to this matter. If I know a man to be a thief (politheifcians ) and he comes to my church to pay tithe and offering chia! Don't just wake up and write nonsense ok, in RCCG ( redeemed christian church of GOD) we conduct everything starting from the service of songs down to the final laying to rest. We have special pastors for that purpose. Recently we just laid to rest one of our beloved mama ( the thing pain me oooo!). Any RCCG pastor/parish that refuses to pay homage is completely doing his own thing and not acting according to the church's standard. But let's ask ourselves this, before death;

Was the deceased an active member?.
(This is just by the way, the next point would buttress this one)

Do the family of the deceased really want the church to head the event or they have their own way. (Mind you when their ways are diabolic the church wouldn't be a part of that).

Not everybody that goes to church is of God, so when a witch who attends church dies as a result of his/her own actions, the church would step only if they're invited.

So they are exceptions to every matter, don't just open your mouths to say nonsense.
