Applicants make the same mistake over and over again, you applied for a particular course in UNILAG without properly checking the requirements now you landed in chemistry. No one can make a choice for you, it's your life so make the choice yourself and stand by it. From chem Eng to chemistry. Wow! |
chidyhels: Thanks, that is what the expo is all about, am just short of advice to give this particular group of people.Trace their backgrounds, find out their other interest apart from education, enter their minds so you'll drop the exact advice to motivate them. They may be very young though but try to see yourself through them, and please TEACH THEM. Extra classes would do, share the class into groups and drop an assingment of their interest. My dear, offer those kids your best. |
Tell them to create their own world, tell them to study very well, organize little motivational talks with them, discuss with them and try to upgrade their mentality. Help them understand life, help them understand that getting a degree isn't all. Educate and inform them, life is a very big field. |
Out teacher don forget him students oooo. *hehehe* |
Like seriously, assuming this eventually comes to stay then I think any tom dick and harry can easily put up codes to create their works(web sits) and that means bad business bro. |
Guys any one checked out HTML 5 client side form validation without Js? That stuff is super cool!, the codes are straight forward, although has it's disadvantages too sha!(Browser version), accepts any kind yeye input in any field, doesn't remember datas...etc chia! How I wish say that thing head correct, man for just escape that side. |
Djtm: php is free, supported by all hosts, more popular, easier to setup and install and less secure than ASP.NETHmmm, "less secure" mehn! That's like a low blow. |
Jregz: I also want to learn aw to link pagesEhm bros, did you code your blog, or you used one of those CMS apps to create your blog? Pls do answer, so we know the next step to take... |
I came to the party late, ehm! @ mr OP, calm down our very own G+ is just being smart and actually he did what almost every smart guy would have done. Personally I hate judging people, but the man has accepted his mistakes and I guess you shut down this thread. Let me tell you, the "ONLY intellectual" difference between you and I is that "what you know is different from what I know" and the day we know the exact same set of things(which can never happen) then we are equal irrespective of shape and size. So mr G+ knows more than you do and he smartly sold the video(s) to you, take it as one of those eye opener in life and calm down. We always make a statement, which goes thus "google is your friend". If you're smart enough there are millions of ebooks and articles on any thing you're looking for on google, so you weren't smart my guy, no vesk. @mr G+, bros! You smart sha em but nothing do you we your guys still dey your side. |
wisemania: baba,i no go lie u,if na w3schools u dey use jack Js den na only like 5% of js u kw bdat, coz i jak d site js tutorial bt kudnt perform a more reasonable task with my acquired knowledge,so i decided 2 download free ebooks 2 hlp me out....,little did i kw dat ive bin playing aldiz yl,coz therz more 2 js dan u think there is!....its a programming lang bro,and its wide....just go and read more...kI get like 5 solid e-books on this js concept. But na w3schools be my main source because their codes match with the current HTML 5 concept. I dey grab the thing wella sha, updating forms and many more, I don compare and contrast tire. Generally the js dey go well, thanks man!. |
Djtm: No you don't. You're simply doing something wrongThanks a lot man, I was actually linking my js page the way we do css that's why. I've finally gotten the yeye thing. Pls on the client server side in between php and asp which's more preffered? |
My forms aren't validating, please must I be connected to the internet before I can be able to know if my js code are working? |
Guys hafa, this js script form validating stuff, is js only used to correct the client side error and validate the form before sending it to the server side? I need more light on this js of a thing, cause all I'm seeing here is that the js only alerts the user filling the form if any mistake has been made, I mean is that all? |
Guys, don't you think symbols may become an issue? Those using phones to comment may find life difficult. |
Phemmy99: you fall my hand big time,,,you should have sent him a PM instead..Thought of that too, but anyone who starts a fight publicly should expect a public showdown. And I really held the guy in high esteem before, even if he was joking that kinda joke is too expensive. |
nofij: MuheheheheK.O... ![]() |
... Una no go gree do the kind maths wey I dey do. ![]() |
Emzybrown:Walahi, your stupidity came to me as a shock, always saw you as an intelligent lad. The cost of building my MAIN GATE alone would build 4 faculties in your yeye IMSU. See this local state boy dey wan form porsche for here. Ask your lecturers what business do they have to join ASUU ?. I'm not here to trade words man, I would have ignored you but my UNIBEN has produced great men in and out of this country when compared to your backyard IMSU. |
My greatest UNIBEN we go hear am if ASUU eventually calls off this strike. My mami! ![]() |
Na wetin me dey reason, with the high rate of missing scripts and gross behavior wey our yeye lecturers dey showcase everyday, hope say if dem call off this strike man pikin no go smell koko for their hand ni. . God dey sha! |
When someone's social life is dead, trust me adding mathematics to that fellow may lead to something else. Most of my lecturers are highly social and well dressed too, although we have like two sadists . So for me it all starts with their social life then the introduction of mathematics makes matter worst. A jolly good fellow would remain a jolly good fellow irrespective of his/her discipline. |
Taar!, I'm one of the most swagalicious mathematics course rep and student you'll find on planet earth, also witha good 2.1 gp. So cut that crap man, some of us sabi wetin dey sup. |
From my observation, 3 out of 4 are all in support of ending the strike...I see good news at the end of the day. |
There we have it, let's wait for the outcome of the remaining ASUU chapters. |
The least accepted grade should be a C, I'm not trying to dictate for you man but buy another waec/gce/neco form and complete your grades to at least a C. Or you look for a current jamb brochure and search if any institution would accept the combination of grades you have. #goodluck |
Hogbemisola: B ut that is one of the most interesting part of Mathematics. It looks so simple but yet not entirely applicable in real senseYou've said it all, it's NOT applicable in real sense at all. |
Hehehe! My food, only that I hate those analysis mathematics they're absolutely useless to me. ![]() |
My brother, keep on motivating we the youths for most of us have forgotten what the right path looks like anymore. You're a good writer and I like your delivery, please write on a topic which reflects the rampart use of shorthand texts in writing, this is very common among the youths, sometime ago my lecturer brought out assingment scripts showing how students used short hand format to spell some words. Things like for(4), someone (some1) etc, and some people would be quick to say it's only used for chatting. I hail thee, kudos to you and your work. |
Now I see why most Nigerian undergraduates and even graduates fail exams and interviews, they don't READ, yes I'm saying they don't read. They spend their time surfing the web in search for latest movies and musics to download, or spend the whole day on bbm and co. ,the eclipse was reported to be a partial one, it wasn't advised to view it with your Unclad eyes, get a UV ray glasses and you'll see the damn thing standing right there in the sky above you. When the enlightened ones were busy searching for relevant information and further instructions on the eclipse palava, the lazy dodos were busy listening to the latest music and movies online. I'm not saying that's bad, but the average Nigerian youth/student isn't well informed on what he/she needs to know to excel in life, God can give you an idea but you have to build on it and also maintain it or els you're back to start. If they can't be informed on a common eclipse thing then what would they be interested in aside entertainment ?. And they were branding those of us that saw the eclipse as liars, that's the highest form of ignorance and stupidity I've seen recently. And I don't see ASUU fighting to correct this madness. Thank God for Nairaland, at least the people I know here aren't uninformed. |

@OP and all, after much research here's how it worked form me ...I set my min-width to 480px and my max width to 980px on my main style sheet. I.e @media and all (min-width:480px) and (max-width:980px)...etc So if I minimize my browser page I get a perfect mobile lay out and immediately I maximize I get a perfect full laptop screen layout. So I can actually capture device screens ranging from 420px - 980px .Thanks all the way! #cheers! |
