Jobs/Vacancies / Re: The Salary Of A Social Media Manager. by Appliedmaths(m): 7:25am On Mar 31, 2018 |
Truth is experience would decide, but sometimes are SMM really expendable? When my company started we wanted to hire a SMM but we discovered we couldn't really afford one after Budgeting for other things. With no experience or follower Base to work with, I added SMM to my portfolio and started from the scratch and built an annual SMM sale report of over N8M. I'm not the kind of guy that is quick to rubbish people's profession, and I know that had it been we hired one the N8M would have been more, but with that figure we totally scrapped the idea of getting a SMM. The nature of the job has made it easy for anyone with good IQ to rake in results, if you're a SMM I really think you wanna step up your game. Your track records would determine your take home. 5 Likes 1 Share |
Politics / Re: Obasanjo: "Buhari’s Refusal To Sign African Trade Treaty Disappointing" by Appliedmaths(m): 12:16pm On Mar 28, 2018 |
The trade deal would not favour Nigeria at the moment, it's like you people have forgotten all those companies that left us for common Ghana only to be using us as a dumping ground for their finished products. Bill Gates have said it, we don't have a functional education system, no power, bad roads, only one viable seaport, let me stop here for now. The deal would give Nigerian manufacturers leverage to find other neighbouring african countries that has a functioning or better still better functioning system than ours to relocate to and still export the finished goods to us. |

To the best of my knowledge I think it's the company lawyer (or any representative) that should be contacting you. To be on the safer side, call the number but when the conversation gets sketchy you know what to do. Also get the address that would the final nail in the coffin. |

gypsey: I love diplomacy, I believe in a round table discussion and since they have refused to negotiate let them be locked out asap. What message are they passing if you ask me? If Jesus was in this situation I'm sure he'll draw a conclusion for peace to reign and that might even win some folks over not wasting church funds for nonsense. 1 Like |

So you can't blame the other guy, she wrote the post too damn good to be true but it doesn't take the truth out of the post. gypsey: Now I understand your point, and I must say they are valid. When I was about 16 thereabout I stopped attending church for almost a year plus, I was asking questions nobody was answering, literally I hate the band wagon movement the nature of my person is to be inquisitive and ask questions. My mother preached and preached back then till she left me alone, it took me years to find the answer I seek and now I'm well informed. Personally this issue is deep, I've been a serving head usher for almost 4 years and bring in the front line of auditing and remitting church finances I tell you from my angle that the problem lies with the Regional HQ's, monies would be remitted monthly, yearly and its not that there's no accounting not auditing it's simply because there's no "feedback" to the people on how the cash was spent. Let me explain, there are full time pastors as in full time pastors who get paid by the church monthly, there are missionaries, there are operational costs (from the HQ down to every branch), then there's the big one that causes the fight which is the building projects, and the new problem - private Jet. These monies are spent on these things and nobody cares to provide a blueprint as to how these funds were spent, more like how the Nigerian society works in taxes, nobody feels answerable to the people who are actually contributing these monies and my friend this is the colossal problem. Aaron and his sons were priests in the Bible, full time workers for God more like full time pastors now and what he and his family ate was provided from the sacrifices offered to God, now again don't get me wrong. I am not in support of the way churches in Nigeria spend the tithes and offering, a new means of transparency has to be devised - but come to think of it is it not the same way our society is working on taxation and other fees paid to the government? Way forward - I believe the love of money is destroying the church and chasing people out of it, people wake up and do ridiculous things all in the name of God and that's why I keep saying that being a Christian excludes going to church and being good in the eyes of the society, we have so many people that don't even know why there are in church. The churches has to start giving public account to its members as to how the funds are being spent, who's buying the jets? funding the billion Naira project? paying the full time pastors? and other expenses? Let there be transparency, I believe this would restore some hope. Other than the finance part I think Nigerians don't have a problem with the church, so in my opinion in order to restore some dignity transparency on how these funds are spent to the kobo has to be published. 2 Likes 1 Share |

gypsey: After salvation, what's next? This is a message series I'm still believing God to complete. After salvation, is a Christian suppose to be poor and wretched? Why does God leave us here on earth after salvation, why don't he take us to heaven directly since that's the aim of salvation? My friend I can't pour everything out here, and to think you "were once like me me" makes me sad the more. I don't preach and I'm not preaching to you but from your analysis it's the tithe and offering that's your problem? I've been there too, did it occur to you to ask God to open you eyes on effective ways to pay your tithe that would benefit men since you have lost faith in the church? It's like you people think Christians are supposed to be poor and wretched, nah! A true Christian who knows his way is supposed to dominate the earth in all ramifications keeping his/her salvation in check all the way, we are not meant to be poor or loose our salvation in the process of enjoying the riches in this life. Let me tell you I know of a ma who pays his tithe to neighbours in forms of groceries, etc and he's still a Christian, but let me also point out that he didn't stumble on that decision he played about it and got direction from God. I'm not judging but your faith was shallow that's why you left Christ, if you knew the Christ you claimed to follow you would have asked questions and gotten answers and not depart. There was one day in workers meeting I asked my pastor what was being done with the tithe and contributions, this opened a discussion for months and I resolved by asking for directions from God on how to pay my title that it would benefit men and also bless me. See gist plenty, now your matter con dey pain me to know you were once in the fold. If you look at people you'll miss heaven and denounce Christ that's the truth, the scripture says "looking up to Christ who's the author and finisher of our faith." 1 Like |

gypsey: I'll be honest oh the tithing and offerings have boomed Who do you wanna evict? The churches that own schools, streets, private jets, etc... we are rich man! On a more serious note, what you people should know is that church isn't a person nor a group of people, it's carrying the embodiment of Christ in you. Like any other set up, there must be people who would make you think the system is flawed but the beauty of Christianity is that there is direct access to God - where you can speak with God directly and achieve what true Christianity is all about. People are failing Christianity, I wouldn't deny that but it takes one who's rooted to discern who's who, but unfortunately non Christians take pleasure in bashing a process they don't understand and they have a leverage simply because the bad eggs have dragged the name of Christ through the mud. I can go on and on but I don't expect you to understand in a giffy. Happy Sunday jare, I hope that's not a sin in your books too? |

I'm done convincing my friend, so let's go out separate ways with our beliefs in the end we will see who was right after all. |

Emmytes: Myopic! You call another man's true belief fanaticism, see why I said you people shouldn't put ya mouths in areas you know nothing about? It's like a doctor telling a civil engineer that his opinions toward the construction of a bridge is complete rubbish. I can't stop your attacks, even if I could I won't when you run out of gas you'll stop after all na noise una go make it can't get better than that. |
