ZiSatnigeria:This is what I have been expecting to see in Nigeria, a service provider that gives the three; internet, phone and TV. But do they offer high speed internet like abroad? Will I be allowed to switch my service to them from another Ka band internet provider without asking me to buy equipment all over again? What will the monthly subscription be like for the 3-in-1 service? |
omakay:An affiliate or information marketer does not necessarily have to have used or practiced what he or she is marketing. But then it will be wrong if he/she is presenting it as if he/she makes money from the procedures without actually practicing it. As for studying abroad without paying tuition, it is all about information. That is why information (or rather the application of information) is power. I have known for more than a decade that certain Scandinavian countries offer tuition-free education even to foreigners. I have applied and got such admission, even though I did not go but I have at least two friends that have gone and had their Master's degrees in such place; all tuition free. You must have your living expenses to take care of though as the school will not take care of your living in addition to free tuition fees. Those who do not have such information nor befriend Google will always pay the Information Marketer for their ebooks. They call it "information is power." |
6000 year old for the delusional and 4.55 billion for the irrational. But for the well-informed Christian, the Earth was created in the beginning without form, and void with darkness covering the face of the deep for the so called 4.55 billion years until about 6000 years ago when the designer gave it the life 'forms' you now see. So both views may be individually wrong but correct when combined. |

LG's amazing 4K OLED — the best TV on the planet? LG 65EC9700 The 65" LG 65EC9700 is the first TV to combine the two most important display advances in the past few years: 4K Ultra High Definition and OLED. With four times the picture detail of 1080p HD, Ultra HD TVs are definitely the champs when it comes to picture detail. However, many TV experts feel that contrast is actually the most important determiner of overall quality. For state-of-the-art contrast (and color), OLED is king. Not familiar with OLED? It's the most advanced screen technology currently available. We've seen dozens of high-performance TVs come through during the past few years and none have generated more "wows" than the OLED models. OLED stands for Organic Light Emitting Diode, and it's the organic part that is groundbreaking. Traditional light emitting diodes have been used in LED-LCD TVs for years. An array of LEDs functions as the backlight, shining through a screen made up of LCD pixels. Whereas OLED screens use an organic substance that glows when it's activated by an electric current. The screen's pixel layer is made of this self-illuminating carbon-based material — each pixel is its own light source which can be independently switched on and off, so there's no need for a backlight with all its limitations. Also, compared to conventional display types, OLED has fewer layers between your eyes and the screen's pixels — a big reason why OLED images possess such startling color, clarity, and immediacy. Picture contrast that beats the finest LCD and plasma TVs Small OLED screens have been available on a few high-end smartphones, but TV-sized screens have been extremely rare. TV makers have invested huge amounts of time and money developing OLED because it's the closest thing to a perfect screen technology. An OLED screen is thinner, lighter, and more energy-efficient than an LED-LCD screen. And it's similar to plasma in that each pixel creates its own light and color. But where plasma pixels maintain a tiny amount of illumination to be able to quickly ramp up to full illumination, OLED pixels can switch off completely, producing absolute black. LG's OLED design has an edge when it comes to color and brightness, too. In plasma and LCD TVs, each pixel is made up of three "sub-pixels" — red, green and blue — in each pixel to create the color palette. LG's unique 4 Color Pixel technology adds a white sub-pixel to the conventional three colors to enhance both color range and brightness. And like plasma, OLED images provide excellent contrast and color even for viewers seated off to the sides. Cheapest price: $9,999. LG recommended price: $11,999. |
What mayorteeny told you is all you need. I observed that most of bank staff do not know their codes as they mislead with correspondent bank as it used to be long time when they were not receiving directly. |
To start with, did you buy the goods you are talking about or it's a promised good to you? If you are truly receiving them from abroad, you should be communicating with DHL, FedEx or UPS. So which one is Abuja Express courier? Be careful! |
RapidBTSNG:Do you still have that other antenna (or is it repeater or booster you called it) for Swift 4G LTE? Spectranet seems not to understand what LTE technology is as they advertised 2 to 4 Mbps internet speed as LTE in their flyer. Or do they think Swift is just marketing the word? May be they need to first understand the internet speed called LTE. |
To start with, it is not palm foolish but pounds foolish. If the single item you are buying is not a big costly one, it may not be economically wise to import it from eBay considering shipping charges. For example, I ordered and shipped a Samsung smart TV from the US but the shipping and custom clearing were almost near the TV price. I felt bad about it but I still met a lower spec of same TV in Game store at Shoprite (Palm) Lekki at a higher price than my total cost at that time. That was my consolation even though I felt swindled by DHL for paying N116,000+ in customs duty. Moreover, eBay sellers don't usually ship to Nigeria and so you should not bother about receiving through Nigerian post office. Even if they start shipping to Nigeria, they don't usually send to PO box address in the States. |
What of getting internet from your dish? Any idea please? |
It is a known fact now that First Bank has been licensed and commenced the outward sending of Naira to other countries via Western Union since September while UBA was given go-ahead to send out by MoneyGram International since October. Union Bank has also just been licensed to send Naira out to over 200 countries covered by MoneyGram. Kindly share your experience with these services and the banks involved so far for sending outside Nigeria. I tried to use WU by First Bank to pay for an online item and you must visit a branch to do that. I was there in September but was told that WU network was down "globally" for that period. Of course, I know that must be a lie and usual Nigerian factor. I proceeded to Victoria Island, Lagos where most banks have their healthy branches and a branch there confirmed same network palaver. They were only able to pay those receiving WU in Nigeria as they claimed receiving network was up while the sending network was down. The earlier branch also told me that to send out, you would either bring the naira cash or send it from your FBN account but they deal solely with naira and have no idea how much dollar or pounds or whatever currency it becomes at the destination country. In other words, they have no control over the WU exchange rate from Naira to other currencies. They also mentioned how much in Naira they do collect as WU charges on certain range of amounts you are sending, which I think tallies with the following fees I copied from WU website: Sending =<$500 ($15 fee) Sending $500.01 - $1,000 ($20 fee) Sending $1,000.01 - $2,000 ($25 fee) Sending $2,000.01 - $5,000 ($30 fee) Sending $5,000.01 - $10,000 ($45 fee). Share your WU and MG experience too whether sending out or receiving. By the way, is there any bank that can still receive in dollars or all banks give Naira by force? At what rate do they give you cash or credit your account? For those crediting your account (such as GTBank and Quickteller platform), can they credit it into your domiciliary account? |
The Nigerian PayPal business account is still the same as the personal account with the same limitations for now. It cannot receive until we know PayPal's future plan for Nigerian accounts. |

Is it just the solar panel that will deliver that long term capability or the inverter it is working with and its batteries? Better still, is there a way for solar panel to generate huge kW or kVA of electricity without needing inverter and/or batteries? |
tonjeola:If anyone, after the eye opener given here, still gets scammed by this fraudster, it would mean the person deserves it. I didn't know I was not the only one scammed by these crooks that 2008/9 period. I even wrote on a thread sometime last year when they came up with another name but got hidden post by moderators. I even went as far as triggering the software then but the thief told me a spyjack bot (virus) was what affected my account and wanted me to pay third money for cleaning or wait till the system will keep cleaning itself and release my LR money generated gullibly at $17,777 per day. He used name like Prof David, Dr Emmanuel Samson, etc. Later 2010/11, he came up again with another one he called Atomizer, which will automatically generate thousands daily and credit your ecurrency account depending on how many units you bought and they later deceive you to trigger with another money. I wasted money calling the guy, who pretended to be in meetings in Benin until he either blocked my line or threw the sim card away. They always use same graphic design websites with coined name but same money crediting software approach. It's unfortunate that everything will remain I'll with them until they repent. |
newslife:"If your business is not on the internet, you are not in business" yet. - Bill Gates. |
Is that a sinking or a rise if the rate goes below N170? I guess you meant to say sinking beyond or falling above N170. Better still, use rise and fall to express the rate fluctuation below or above N170, like rise above or fall below N170. |
I suggest you guys take taxi or flight to meet equidistance between Lagos and Abuja (may be Oyo or Ondo State). May be that will cost cheaper as the price to pay for lack of trust on a $110 Payoneer transaction. |
surveyProf:I am not too sure as I have not tried it lately except for naira account transfer. I think there is a comment from another user too? |
Did you see the N10k ebook price to be paid or you saw free of charge as claimed? |

Good one here. |
EroticAngelina:Because she would know her niece is an EroticAngel just turning 18; what a dangerous combination. |
Go to quickteller.com and register, then log in. Just follow the same steps of transferring funds by sending money to a bank account that you would normally follow when sending money to a naira bank account on Quickteller. The only difference here is that you will input your domiciliary account details instead of the usual naira bank account destination. That's all and it should be instant when successful. If network fails, try again later. |
All local government Secretariats are part of the listed places. I did mine last week. Same local government council is the place for LASRAA for Lagos residents' registration. |
Watch out for my expo thread on how to get your dollars at N163+ and pounds sterling at N264+ and others from the comfort of your house. Cashless is the warning and the watchword. |
