Nothing yet..... just waiting to see why I would be denied. Sponsors are my parents; father 15M+, mother 9M+, me 1M+. I've got travel history. My program is in line with my job and profession. I am already on a study leave to attend this program. I've got no family in Canada, all my family including my sponsors are working here in Nigeria. If I'm denied then I will know there really is a quota system and I should not have applied in November.

Thanks for the information, I wrote something similar to that yesterday too, there is always quota for each province on the number of international student they can take in yearly...and if that is met, Visa application na refusal.....people should understand these.
Guys please fire back harder on the next application...after proper corrections oooo

Hi guyz, just think i should say this very quickly.... i have been reading this trend say like 2months now. i figure Canada refuse rate after medical is very high now i mean since like the last 3months they have refuse quite large numbers of applicant even after passing their medical.
i have some friends who are Travel Agent...am not here to promote agents, am just saying i have lots of them who are very good!!! they do let me know that its always a bad time to apply for TRV towards the end of the year(Oct,Nov and Dec) Reason: cos every embassy/consular has the number of visas to be issue within the year time frame. so basically if CA is to issue 10,000 visas to applicant from Nigeria for the year 2015. and by Sept they have already issue 9,800. guess what happen to Hundreds of applicant who is applying by Oct to Dec, the denial rate will be very high isnt it?
This isnt my idea, it was a thought from some gurus aswell..... so am writing to encourage the ones who has been refused, to pls not give up..JAN is another best time to apply u can start pilling up ur docs for submission and am sure by God grace it will be great news for u.
also for those awaiting, i pray it comes out Good.
should anyone here think my write up is a crap and that cant be the reason for refusal, i am open for a correction and i wll be glad to learn, you know one can not know it all.

No vex bros....abeg you.....when you get your TRV tomorrow Abeg share the good news....truth is always bitter, people here can only console you your chance is 50/50 but read the thread through nobody get processed passport without approval that got TRV..

One thing people need to notice about visa is there is quota for each province yearly an I this is met no matter how perfect you application is they will denial/ delay it, if you are denied now it's better to package yourself/your application now b4 this year quota is met..

Guy if you didn't get approval mail that means you have been denied.

Did you get approval mail? If not expect the worst don't get your hope high though you might be lucky but don't expect positive results, give it 7days b4 you go for your pick up..cheers

Pls wise people of the house this is the message i received from CIC this morning 'We would like to informed you that your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada visa office ,on Jan 2016 to the Canada Application centre.You can track the status of ur Application through our website mention below using ur track number.Then another a response mail from VSF this morning too which state that'Dear visa application?.Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa office(location) on 11/01/2016 to the Visa Application centre. Pls My Ogas,what is the meaning of this?I BEG I NEED COMMENTS.should i go there tomorrow?

Abeg allow people in canny to answer this guy b4 you advise him wrongly...you too still dey look for TRV now. . How you take know say he no suppose notify them when it is stated in your CIC profile...
Guy my opinion ooo if you didn't notify them it might affect your 3yrs graduate work permit Co they will still know you changed

I got this update at 9:30 am today, it says

"There have been no updates to your application (S301276176) since you last checked your MyCIC account. Thank you for your patience."

Few hours later at around 1:59pm today, another update came saying

"Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your MyCIC account and check your application status and messages for more information".

When I logged on, there was no update.

Any view of what is happening!.

That means you just did your biometrics, that's the update you ve got, relax guy u are save

He is not applying for VISA, he is applying for ADMISSION, any admission that will be open now will be for MAY and SEPTEMBER unless wait list, please correct me if am wrong,

Guy, apply for 2016 january? Late, apply for 2017 January? Too early. Can you just go into details of what you want, get your passport first, have copy o your transcript get you ATM card then apply for your course, use Google search, you be copper now, and I belive you ar using android or BlackBerry phone..

House I salute oooh!I submitted my application tru paper route at vsf Lagos on the 5th Nov and medical called on 25th Nov.The medical result was sent to the CIC on 4th Dec.And the school has resumed since Monday 4th Jan. and do not know what to do.Please I need someone in the house to put me tru.

Hello Soj and all gurus in the house, please I need your advice on this. I applied for study permit Oct 5th and was refused based on fund on the 16th Nov., I have gathered all the documents to reapply and is ready.,to be precise I wanna submit it tomorrow. Here is my question. The admission letter given to me stated that I am starting Jan 4th. Though I know the study permit won't be for Jan due to processing time. Please I hope there is no harm submitting now with that acceptance letter. Please could you kindly advice is urgent.

The rate is crazy o! I've been charged as high as 198/cad. Does any one know any other way out of this mess? Can one buy forex from black market and do wire transfer to Canadian account? Same ish because the black market rates are as high.

Only way is to get a good job and start earning CAD.

Guy defer your admission there is no how you can make it, you will miss orientation, sending of PP and getting it back will take nothing less than 3weeks ur preparation booking, paying tuition fee etc..better for you to defer, my suggestion Sha oooo

Log in to your MyCIC and check your message....or did you use an agent to apply? If not you should understand that message

I wonder why people add it ooo...it might tell later, people should just try to avoid it "affidavit of return after studies" that's if you know you will apply for the 3years graduate work experience.

Well, it could be due to the nature of his/application. Best believe, every application is already complicated and people still tend to make it more complicated... I left high school 2010, I applied for trv 2014. I did not submit any sop, or Letter of explanation neither did i submit that stuff up there. Lol..I saw people adding letter to explain gaps, and even adding photos to prove relationship with sponsors..It was kinda funny but I couldn't laugh because I understand it was all about the struggle and I wasn't sure I'll be approved. But at the end of the day as God may have it. My application was one of the fastest back then. If I can remember, it took not more than 4weeks. I applied, 4 days later biometrics, 2 weeks later medical and 1 week later passport collection.

Gurus in the house I observed something on the legal documents people submitted/advice to submit which 'I think' can affect/used against them in future when applying for graduate working experience.

I guess you mean the application fee for admission (which is usually 100 CAD dollar). It is ok to pay for that using debit cards but definitely not advisable to pay for tuition fee that can be as high as 10,000 CAD dollars. Dont you think so?

Are you paying for the whole year or a semester, why not confirm from the rate customer care,
