I'm confused

My sister was scammed on phone some years back around 2006

She received a message with VTU pins of almost 10k.
She was confused when she saw the message. She came to show me and I told her maybe it was mistakenly sent to her that we can load it jware but she insisted that she could not do such being a faithful someone. I said OK o.!

Few minutes later, the person that sent the VTU pins called that it was a mistake that the message was not purposely for her that it was intended for one of his sisters in school to Sell and use it to buy food stuffs.
He told her that she should just help him to send it back to him cos he has deleted the message.

As faithful as my sister would be, she sent the message back to him. Then some minutes later he called thanking my sister that such a person of her caliber is so rare and he thanked her so well.

The next day he called again thanking my sister and asked where she was and where she was studying and that he would love to reward her with gift whenever he was coming and that he could purposely come just because of her. After lot of thanks he said their dad wanted to say thank you to her. Then he handed the phone to one elderly person the man thank her gaaaan.

Some days later he called my sister. He told her that he was on his way and he had bought her some lovely gift as a reward for her faithfulness.
You know ladies, they love gift. She felt elated waiting for the man to call and told her he at so so and so place to come meet him there. She didn't even bothered to tell me.

Some minutes later, the person called that he got trapped in the hand of police officers but he would get it solved as they were requesting for money and no money on him except he would have to get to bank and there was no bank around where he was. He cut the call.

Some minutes later, he called her back that they have not released him o shouting that he was coming because of her o all away from Abuja that he is already getting close o that he didn't know them there o that if she could find any means so that he could paid them for his release and when he got to where she was, he would get to the ATM and refund her.

Later my sister went to buy recharge card of 8k and send to the man believing him that when he came around he would refund it back to her.


Some hours later my sister called the person to ask if he was close , the person did not pick call again o

Nay then my sister realized she has been duped and scammed

I nearly get scam for one job like that.
I was told to go and bring 150k sometimes in 2009. Me wey be fresh graduate then. Where I wan see 150k . My friend wey took me to the person (cos nay him sabi the person ) told me that he used his money wey he realized from Nysc to pay for in own to the man and the job nay sure and pure.
I just told the man I will come back in less than two weeks to run here and there for the money.

When I no see person wey go borrow me , I just suspend am and never get back to the man again.

Up-to this moment I dey ask my padi how far with that thing, your own no work again. Nay Tory he dey yarn till 2019.
If I had pay, nay the same story I go dey hear o


Just last year another person come took me to another person of the same job. That one say nay 350k
To show interest make I first bring 50k.

I know some pure but some people dey use am to scam people.

It reminds me of those days when we used to go barber shop to barb hair.
