jchioma: But Delta State govt logo was clearly written on the Fire trucks that came to the rescue na!
WHY not Federal Fire Service? Perhaps, the Federal Fire Service called Delta State Fire Service to intervene shikena! You tried giving him a reply because I wasn't ready for any childish banters, those on ground saw the truck clearly written Delta state fire service and someone who wasn't there is trying to sell us a lie that it's federal fire service. Even the article said men from the federal fire service couldn't make it because a mob "pelted" them with stone yet this one is still insisting that it was the federal fire service men that came to do the job. Most pertinent question still remains, where was the Anambra state fire service for over 5hours before the Delta state fire service came and did the little they could? |

What else should I be expecting from the SSA if not this, am I expecting him to had said otherwise, NO. Why didn't you advise your principal to visit the burnt buildings and shops at Iweka road and Ochanja instead of dragging the PDP into his ineptitude. He just visited a portion of an undamaged gutter and that was all. |

globemoney: So the tanker deployed from Asaba was from FG and the clownish pdp trolls said it was because Anambra state govt failed to respond.. Also, locals prevented the fire service from performing their function... Nawaa So you want us to believe this lie, the Delta fire service was allowed in and not pelted with stone but that of the federal fire service was. I guess men from the Delta fire service flew to the scene and men from the federal fireservice couldn't and that was why they were pelted with stone |

This man definately deserve a corpral punishment That has been the only question that has been on my mind since I read the excuse he gave, let him reveal the 'somewhere' so that people can investigate. |

That number 3 point is a lie from the pit of hell, people were calling radio stations from all over the city for assistance from the fire service, presenters were pleading and appealing to them to move to the places affected for over three hours and nothing was seen. It is now you have the gut to lie to the people that firemen came but an angry mob bla bla bla.
Panel kee him there, I've been pro Obiano but this lie is a no no. |

psychologygh: are you alright. Check the amount of exports Ghana exports to Nigeria compared to what Nigeria exports to Ghana. Ghana doesn't need any ECOWAS and if there's a trade war,Nigeria loses 159 million dollars whilst Ghana loses just 80 million dollars. Ghana exports over 17 billion dollars of goods just in 2018 and Nigeria is not even among top 10 export countries of Ghana even in Africa. All our products are exported outside Africa. Its the millions of Nigerians and their businesses in Ghana who loses not Ghana so think well before trying anything foolish with us.We never rely on your zoo. We're not Benin Republic. It's just that those trucks had already set off so they don't know if they should return back. If they do and we start retaliating, hope you don't cry xenophobia again. What is the percentage of our export to Ghana compared to our GDP, equally compare your export to Nigeria with your GDP and tell us which has a higher proportion. |

Giddy, I dont know how old you are and how well you understand what referendum means.
Here's the thing.
YOU ADMINISTER A R3FFERENDUM ON A PEOPLE ONLY IF THEY ASK FOR IT!Is there even a referendum clause in the constitution that he's insisting on? Some people can be so stubborn, insisting on something they know that is never possible
Have we asked for a referendum? The answer is NO!!
Have we asked you guys to fight for us? NO!!
So, where exactly are you coming from for goodness sake? |
Politics › Re: Senator Abaribe Speech On Ndi Igbo And Biafra(long Read) by Area4Area: 3:52am On Oct 16, 2019 |
gidgiddy: If Biafra is just about Igbo then its impossible to leave the so called SS out of it. The simple reason is that 60% of Rivers state, 35% of Delta state, the 12 communities that make up Igbanke in Edo state, the Legbo Igbos of Cross River amongst others
There are millions of in Igbos who are indigenous to the called SS and nobody is going to leave them behind.
It should be noted that what makes a person to be Igbo is not belonging to the SE. The Igalas of Anambra, the Idomas of Enugu and the Ibibios of Abia all belong to SE but are not Igbos. What make a person to be Igbo is speaking Igbo as the ancestral language, having an Igbo surname and practicing Igbo culture. That is is why there is no difference between former Governor Chibuike Amaechi, an Ikwerre man from Rivers state, and my friend Chibuike Amaechi, an Nsukka man from Enugu state
Both speak Igbo as their ancestral language, have Igbo surname and practice Igbo culture. When have these people told you they want a referendum and why must you force it on them, when have the SE Igbos even told you they want a referendum too? Why not go conduct one in your immediate family and Umunna before trying to force others |

Dreambeat: Abaribe is entitled to his own opinion. This is why we are Igbos.Even the ‘least significant’ (for the want of better expression) person has an opinion.Everyone who has a contribution to make, the person’s voice MUST be heard. We are republicans, exactly why the way Nigeria is currently run is unacceptable by us.It is against what we stand for, it’s against our value. There are those who have divergent view from Abaribe’s, with plausible reason too.I believe that a Biafra with a sea border will be the best.As for the oil, it will be irrelevant in a couple of years time but we need the sea with or without the ND. Who is giving you the sea border and how do you hope to get it? |

The farmers aren't done yet in processing before let it out for sales. Go on lying, most Nigerians here have testified that they eat stone free local rice, it seems you go to the market and buy cheap un-miled local rice and complaining. Even those sellers will always tell you the ones with stones that hasn't been milled and those that are stone free and already milled. Just say your pocket determines your choice and stop sounding as if no stone free local rice in the market s. |

Politics › Re: Major Isaac Jasper, Ijaw Freedom Fighter 1938-1966 by Area4Area: 11:36am On Oct 15, 2019 |
gidgiddy: If that is how a country is declared then anybody can declare a country. Isaac Boro just got one day, armed some men and declared a Niger Delta Republic. That is not secession, that is banditry.
In Ojukwus case, Ojukwu had a binding agreement with Gowon that was signed in Ghana. When that agreement was broken by Gowon, Ojukwu called a meeting of the Chiefs and representatives of all the 20 provinces of the old Eastern region. They met and gave Ojukwu the mandate to declare the Eastern Region a separate country, infact, a representative of the Ijaw people called Frank Opigo asked Ojukwu to call that separate country "Biafra"
So the difference with what Ojukwu did and what Isaac Boro did is that while Ojukwu acted with the mandate of the people to declare the Eastern Region Biafra, Isaac Boro had no mandate and nobody knows to this day what area he declared Niger Delta Republic I've always known you as an IPOB and Kanu supporter here, going by your assertion, since Adaka Boro didn't have the mandate of the people to declare his republic, what mandate does Kanu have for requesting for a referendum, when has the consent of representatives of the people involved been asked for? |

pocohantas: Seeing some brands mentioned here and on other threads, some of us have always been eating local rice and we didn't even know- because it was that good.
What then are people complaining of? So you even noticed, on another thread and this was before the closure, I was telling someone most Nigerians were eating local rice and he told me it was a lie, I just left him. You can also see the reporter saying that some people were rebagging local rice into foreign bags, meaning that most people buying the 'fake' foreign rice can't tell the difference between them meaning the quality of some of the local rice is as good as the foreign yet some Nigerians would still prefer foreign. |
