We think the Igbo's are not playing Nigeria politics the way it works
The Igbos prefer to play politics of hate, emotions and sentiment instead of focusing on their interest irrespective of which party that can serve their interest.
They'd insult everyone and still expect them to support their bid, where on earth is that possible?

Too bad, in all of this nobody is even considering Igbo presidency, this is what IPOB and hate for others has caused the Igbos. Nobody wants to associate with Igbos politically anymore.

Lame argument!

Oh, so you finally agree 'one Nigeria' can be divisble? I suppose your issue now is that a statute of limitations has ran out on the 'divisibility' of Nigeria, and what was possible during in the late 50s is not possible today! You see how two-faced you are?
Divide it and let us see.
Nigeria remains indivisible because that's what Ndigbo had always wanted

One would look at that list, most especially the pre-independece slaughtering of ibos and wonder WHY it was the same victims who were singing the discordant tune of One United Nigeria. In 1960.

In spite of all these killings , it was this same group who insisted that the unity of the country is non-negotiable and those that suggested incuding a secession clause in our nascent constitution then were threatened with treason!
Pre independence, they saw the handwriting on the wall but foolishly continued the One Nigeria mantra, their leader Azikiwe threatened leaders from other regions with treason if they push for de-amalgamation or suggesting for referendum and secession clause in the constitution.
Ironsi made sure that he signed the anti-secession decree into law and clamped down on any person or group that wanted to secede. In all of this, the people cheered their leaders on without complaint.
It is now that they've woken up to secede, we all die here and may amadioha fire anyone who would suggest for any secession.

Nigerians don't have ur time u offer us nothing. Just go straight and luck up their shops.
Simple as ABC, they'd open another thread tomorrow to cry about the closure, something so many Nigerians are tending to forget.
His logic,

Paint the picture of the closure looking so bad for Nigeria so we can start begging the FG to open the border so that they continue their illegal trade but good enough, Nigerians are not fooled by that.
That's why the continuous crying and wailing everyday.
They'd create another thread tomorrow just to lie to Nigerians how bad it is and how rosy it's been for Ghana since the closure so that Nigerians would start appealing for it to be opened

Thank you. I pity Nigerians. They know their country is in a sorry state, but pride and arrogance is just killing them. I will tell you a small story. Three weeks ago, I was on a flight to Singapore. The fellow who sat with me from Dubai to Singapore was a nigerian from katsina state, but lives in Lagos. Initially I thought he was from East Africa or something, because of the way he was dressed. When we started talking, he told me was in his way to Singapore for a conference. He was surprised when I told him that as a Ghanaian, I didn’t need a visa to go to Singapore. He was shocked. He wanted to know if I had a diplomatic passport. I told him no, that all I had was an ordinary Ghanaian passport. He told me his own wife was refused a visa to Singapore and that he and his wife had arranged to meet in Dubai days later for a short holiday.

Two week later I traveled to South Africa, and also I didn’t need a visa. You Nigerians should be humble and learn a thing or two from a Ghana and Ghanaians. Years ago, Ghana was a basket case and were constantly mocked by you Nigerians. Today, Nigerians are trooping in Ghana to escape unmitigated poverty. Nigeria is going down while you people celebrate the stvpidity of a border closure.

Has the govt outlined clear policies that will make the ordinary nigerian benefit from the border closure? Where is the electricity to produce anything? Kidnappings, robberies etc etc Some people are delighted because neighboring countries are “suffering” from the border closure. That is a lie from the pit of hell. It has not affected anything in Ghana. Ghana’s economy is growing at 8.8%. The fact that Ghana raised objections to the border closure did not mean Ghana’s economy depends on trade with Nigeria. How much bilateral trade exist among the two countries? Very little.
Look at nigeria today. Look at life expectancy, unemployment, electricity access, education etc. it is a shame a country that produces so much oil and gas cannot provide electricity that other countries take for granted in the 21st century. You all should bow your heads in shame
Stories and epistles, what we know is that your president and ministers have been crying for the border to be opened and they don't know you crying alone in your room

Actually he quoted a false articule with no basis from untrusted news channel

for anyone to learn about Nigeria rice capacity. visit Bloomberg..... they captured report form Nigeria bureau of statistics and not just road side conversation....

Report was made last year, projections and projections, why can't you wait till next year to know what finally happened?
I gave results for 2017 and this is 2019, your comrade was talking about protected figures for this year and feeling it's the actual.

Sorry to disappoint you. Ghanaians have moved on from the border issue. Keep your border and lock it for as long as you like. grin Frankly, I dont even know what the fuzz was all about. Ghana’s exports to Nigeria in one year can’t be more than $100 million. Given Ghana’s trade profile, that is a drop in the ocean grin so stop talking about Ghanaians dragging your border closure with you. It’s your border, do whatever you like with it. We don’t give a fvck!

What we give a fvck is what goes on in our own country. So we have decided to implement an existing law which restricts retail business to only Ghanaians grin so far hundreds of shops in Ghana belonging to foreigners have been closed, and some people are wailing, and I am delighted. grin grin So my friend, keep your border, huh? Hunger and stvpidity reigns in the sh1thole grin
Nice post, we don't care either.
We've thought over all implications before the action, you export just $80 million and import $303 million from Nigeria and we ain't complaining.

Nigeria had some of the best universities in the 60's and 70's and 80's when Nigeria was still receiving grants from the Rockafeller and Ford foundation. That changed when we had a certain leader that chased all of them away and refused to fund education.
Nigeria's glory days were the 70's and those days are long gone.
Nigeria in it's current state can never be compared the Ghana when it comes to development. The only thing Nigeria surpasses Ghana is in fantastical corruption.
Ghana had Jerry Rawlings to set the country on the right path. We never had that kind of visionary leader, only leaders interested in looting the treasury blind.
We all know you're a Ghanaian so just start begging for the border to be opened.

i care less

just to correct you, Nigeria import 3.4 million metric tonnes and produce 3.7 miilion metric tonnes

And this is why, any measure to ban rice import now will only lead to hunger in Nigeria.
I gave a link that you can check up but you ain't doing same, just throwing figures upandan. So please care less for our borders remaining shut.
You were earlier boasting about Ghana producing 80% of rice consumption, I asked for a link which said Ghana was producing 45% of consumption.
I gave you a link that Nigeria was already producing 81.4% of her needs around same time (2017) and you're saying you don't care.
Stop the lies and begging for border opening.
Give us a link

Ghana as at 2017 produces 450,000 MT and consumes 1 million MT same year, 45%, who is less productive?

google is your friend
no more spoon-feeding for you, ive directed you to real information.
Stop throwing figures and stats that you can't defend, we all understand you're trying to be patriotic to your Ghana but stop lacing it with lies. We know you want us to feel that your Ghana is Paradise on earth and better than the EU, US, Japan, Qatar, Kuwait etc but always state the facts.

Nigeria's production as at 2017 was 5.8 million and consumption was at 7million. So you can see that Nigeria is already producing 81.4% of her needs and I believe with the border closure, production would increase and consumption met.

This is November and you already know the full production for the year, has Ghana harvested all her rice for the year already? If I ask for a link to your 757,000 now, you can't
