Clearly APC has no plan for Nigeria. Since May 29, it has been one leadership crisis or d other, denial here and there, accusation and counter accusation, godfatherism and increase in insecurity.Buhari seems not to understand civil politics. He lacks idea on how to go about his civil mandate. He seems weak in decision making. He is getting confused on daily basis and this has exposed him as a permanent liability to his own administration.Buhari leaps before looking. This is a 'lame duck' administration.
.

My dear, make you nor even talk too much before dem begin say Tanoid hater and rain insult like agbero.

Even the most die-hard changeoid & buharoid will soon have to admit that APC is a propaganda party not ready for the onerous task of ruling Nigeria and bring the drastic reforms needed to move us forward.

Because they have too many politicians steeped in backstabbing, political prostitution and intrigues, even with a comfortable majority in the senate, they cannot even elect principal officers among themselves without rancour. The level of indiscipline is mind-blowing.

Amaechi is a sore loser. He was busy gallivanting in Abuja instead of handing over in his state.

A state that gave him 8 years to rule. He couldn't even show appreciation.

Is that how Fashola did in Lagos? Not being at Presidential inauguration doesn't mean you cannot get appointment from Buhari.

That's the problem. People are set in their ways and refuse to learn. Is it just unnecessary pride?

The smartest people are those who learn daily.

Abi. Fact is the world is evolving and kings are all mostly educated now. They try to negotiate or marry tradition with modernity. Many practices now are only symbolic, just to preserve culture and history. Same in Japan, Spain, UK, Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, etc. These are largely prosperous countries.

Our culture or Kings didn't make Abacha loot money, make IBB cancel June 12 or cause our law makers to give themselve huge wardrobe allowance.

Yes I can teach you because I know. Where is your source?

How often have you been in the palace? Have you seen or met any of them?

How many palace chiefs do you personally know?

I'm very conversant with Benin and several Yoruba monarchies due to dual/multiple origins.

Oba is not allowed to see the crown prince.oba ll never see his first son....its a taboo
Lies from poorly informed people. Oba does see first son.

The dad of current Oba (Akenzua II) as crown prince was secretary to his own dad (Eweka II).

Prince Charles doesn't live in Buckingham palace, it doesn't mean he doesn't see Elizabeth II.

Crown prince lives in Edaiken palace at Uselu upon reaching maturity, doesn't mean he doesn't see his dad. Before maturity, he typically will live in the palace.

The current Oba read Law at Cambridge university and the current crown prince was Nigerian Ambassador to various countries in Europe.

These are highly educated and well-travelled people, who try to marry tradition with modernity.

I am not a good Christian, neither do I believe in the silly story of immaculate birth. So stop defending your stupid traditions and assuming I am silly too. I am not a believer. what ever is provable is knowledge-based, anything that is fictitious connotes a belief system. I believe in nothing, what ever I know is not a belief. Belief is blind trust.
So believing in nothing now makes you feel superior to others?

Atheistic boko haram.

You're now omniscient to the point of knowing all. Are you not arrogating too much to yourself?

Clap for yourself.

It appears to me, that traditions and taboos in Africa where designed out of ignorance, fear and illiteracy. But what baffles me is how educated people actually decide to respect and worship ignorant and illiterate traditions.

You will even see a so called educated Benin indigene insulting others who dare challenge the barbaric and silly tradition.

In 21 century, when other countries are getting rid of taboos that are discovered to be false, in Africa the reverse is the case. we have Obas and so called Kings that are custodians of these ancient instrument of ignorance and fear as a weapon of control and intimidation.

What do we call a person who tells others not to use umbrella when it rains, and he is the only one to use umbrella ?

What do you call a person who doesnt allow his wives (note 'wives') to embrace any other man, not even her own father and brother ? Is that not a mark that he is afraid that a more capable man can take his wives ?

When Africa is ready to accept knowledge and shun tradition and religion, we will invent something better than foo-foo and okro soup.
So somebody resurrecting after three days is science & knowledge? An illiterate suddenly becoming a prolific writer of an influential religious book is scientific, bah?

A woman and her son driven into the desert and the well of Zamzam suddenly appearing from no where is a sound geological knowledge?

If they told you that one small girl in Ile-Ife 2000 year ago was made pregnant by God (no sex o) and delivered a devine baby boy, will you believe it?

It appears we are prepared to accept 100% any foreign superstition and condemn ours. Shame.

If na Palace of Queen Elizabeth or Emperor of Japan now, you will see most people saying it's very good and high culture. But with the many kolomental people we have these days, anything African culture is superstition to them. Go to India and see what superstition means.

Actually 19 States is too much. It should be just 6 states. The 6 Geo-political zones should become States and the 36 states become Municipal council councils. The the Federal Government should hands-off oil and gas and allow every state to generate revenue and pay Abuja 40% to manage federal police and few executives. Merge the Federal House of Assembly with Senate but make it just 72 members, just 2 from each Municipal councils. Democracy as it is, is too expensive.
.

Abi o. It can even be 109 senators as it now, but no House of Rep. Pay should not exceed that of level 14 civil servant. Official housing should be for for about 4 principal officers. Moderate housing benefit & constituency office maintenance allowance for all others.

Abdusallam Abubakar did well to bring back democracy BUT he had the perfect chance to slimline democracy but he didn't. Even though he knew how expensive our recurrent expenditure already was under military regime, let alone "food is ready" democratic system.

Osun, Ogun and Ondo States should merge to form Sango State. Even if we bail out these states, in the near future, Niger Delta Oil and Gas will be depleted and reality will set in. Right now its vandalism, in the future it will be dry wells. We shall see. Cosmic is watching.
.
I have always said that Nigeria cannot afford more than 20 States. Those dictators were busy creating states not minding if viable or not. Why split old Ondo, Anambra, Kano, Oyo, Kwara, Gongola States for example?

The previous 19 States were just perfect as they were. They should have just decentralised governance and devolve more powers to LGAs. That way, grassroot politicians would be held responsible by their local people.
