Politics › Re: Why Osinbajo Has Been 'locked Out' Of Buhari’s Security Meetings - Daily Post by AreaFada2: 1:22pm On Jun 11, 2015
I think Buhari knows more about Boko than APC praise singers want to believe.

He doesn't want Tinubu to know these things. VP will most likely divulge it to Tinubu.

Information is power. Buhari doesn't want some people getting vital info that could be used to arm-twist or subtly blackmail him later.

Talking of relocation of command to Borno, in this drone age, you still send your best command brains almost into war zone? Making them vulnerable to Boko, especially with saboteurs/boko sympathisers within the military. Except the saboteurs were working in synch with some Northern elite.

The army/warfare tactics that Buhari left 30 years ago is not same as now.

Not necessarily true. People just don't select properly when coming from 9ja. Though money is an issue too.

In my secondary school days in 9ja, our teachers told us that if you do well in WASCE, you can walk into any top university in the world. We grew up with that mentality.
Even some UK born kids of 9Ja descent refuse to apply to Russel group (Ivy league) universities. They think they cannot get in. I can't understand why.

I applied to several top universities in UK, and the experience was largely positive. I simply chose the most convenient for me. I was already resident in UK though.

If possible, don't apply to post-1992 (new) UK universities except in a few cases where some are very good/innovative in subjects like IT (tailored to industry needs) law, diplomacy, etc. Because their fees are smaller and admission is easier, foreign students rush to those universities.

It pains me when people argue blindly. Why did the House of Representative members wait for the APC reps that went for the same meeting with Buhari before conducting their election? This is the reason nobody is calling Dogara a JUDAS. If Bukola Saraki was sure of his popularity he would have toed the path of honour and test his popularity and he could still have won.
.

Which planet are you on? A new planet called Naive?
So you believe in honour among thieves?

FYI, all of them are as bad as each other. Saraki joined APC as a vehicle to reach a position, by hook or by crook. And I think he has achieved it, even if he stays there for only 2 weeks. Because Omo Oloye knows that a NC Yoru-Fulani (as he claims sometimes) man isn't gonna make the presidency in Nigeria anytime soon. grin cheesy
Politics › Re: Melaye Blames APC Senators For Loss Of Deputy Senate President by AreaFada2:

This man should just keep shut lest thunder fires him. He 'dashed' out the Deputy Senate Presidency slot to PDP and he's here blabbing. The respect I used to have for Saraki and Dino Melaye has just diminished. I love the way Ndume was treated. He never knew Saraki had met with PDP Senators to offer them the 'Deputy Presidential' slot. He thought he had played fast on his fellow APC Senators to emerge the Deputy to Saraki. He may have dumped Saraki by now since his 'supposed' slot was freely given to Ekwerimadu and Saraki is in for a long thing.

The PDP Senators should know that they were the greatest losers yesterday. Out of the 57 Senators that were present at the hallowed chamber of the Senate during the 'sham' Election, only 8 of them were APC Senators. If a PDP Senator had moved a motion to nominate a fellow PDP Senator (say David Mark), he would have won the contest hands down and Saraki would have felt betrayed by now (which would have gladdened my heart). Saraki betrayed their trust in him when he defected to APC, he also betrayed APC's trust when he shunned the meeting convened by the President at the ICC and went to the floor of the Senate, they (PDP) should have also betrayed him by electing a PDP man as Senate President. I would have preferred it that way. PDP goofed!
.

My friend, PDP have been in this game for 16 years. They lost last election which was transparent and voters partly got tired of PDP. But PDP are not silly or naive.

If a PDP man had been voted Senate president, it would have been labelled a straightforward PDP coup by most people including you.
For PDP, playing a fast one on and wrong-footing APC, using an APC member (Saraki) is more important than a petty revenge on Saraki. PDP are very conscious of the division the emergence of Saraki could cause within APC.

PDP has always said APC are a collection of strange bedfellows. Exposing it as such early on in their administration is a major aim of PDP. This is political chess game. After all APC openly wooed Ameachi and others to cause rancour in PDP. Should PDP not do anything they can to undermine APC too?
It seems APC are having difficulties managing themselves and their newly acquired power. cheesy

This change is getting sweeter & sweeter. cheesy grin shocked
Am not blaming anybody.the men are doing it as a boost to their manhood! the women are doing it to get back at the men
. I know you're not. But most women do it for benefits. Money, gifts, favours etc. At the end everyone loses. Unwanted kids, disease, men lose money chasing ladies. Funny enough a recent study showed that men who are househusbands cheat more. That not being the breadwinner, they seek other ways to boost manhood, and sexual conquest is still a major ego booster. You know most female bread winners tend to verbally and attitude wise remind their men what a failure they are. Because for most women it's an unconventional role. Whereas men play that role as a matter of course.

Personally,i dont expect faithfulness from my partner.i can only preach safe sex n we get tested every 3 months.shikena!
.
Yep, not surprising at all. Sad though.

Actually lots of men don't have as many girls as they like to brag about. Dating girls in 9ja costs time and money. And men need time to hustle for money. If you're well to do, you can have very many girls indeed. And in Nigeria of today, less than 30% have that level of comfort to "afford" many women.
The moneyed young men that are equally promiscuous get many girls. That is why bosses in top jobs bleep both married and single female staff. They have authority, influence & money. These three things attract women like magnet. Of course there are still some babes not greedy for money.

An average looking girl that dresses well and carry herself nicely can be approached by many "try-your-luck" guys and serious ones too. If she's not picky, she can have a new man daily. But it takes toasting, paying date bills and other expenses to get a girl. So ladies have more opportunities to cheat.

Also women can date young, old, single, married men BUT most guys would date single and younger women, so that the pool of women a guy can chose from is less than the pool of men girls can get men from.

Thank God you have seen it up close, so you know how it is.
But you cannot blame the women alone. It is still men who knowingly or unknowingly bleep the married and engaged women.

You are right.Faithfulness is now thrash, occupant of waste bin.The male folk started the infidelity game, claiming they are polygamous in nature as a justification for their actions.the ladies have followed suit.Whatever a man can do,a woman can do better.Anybody male/female who thinks his/her lover has only him/her is high on something cheap. Most of d guys abusing this op are also sharing their babes even wives, the only difference is that they know not!Men flaunt their sexcapades, women do theirs codedly
.

My dear, thank you. I like people who are honest. Instead of trying to defend women's "honour" at the expense of truth. Lots of working wives are banging work colleagues, especially their bosses/managers.

People like to doubt research findings that: 50% of first born kids belong to another guy outside. 30% of all kids belong to another guy outside.

Women have never been short of desire to cheat. But it was just too risky and opportunities were limited. Women now move about freely to work, travel alone, live in school hostels 700km away from home, chat with men on social media from the whole world from their bedroom.
Opportunities are vast now.

Men throughout history have been marrying many wives and having side dishes, and was accepted by society.

I guess with cheap DNA test kits soon to be available, men will be in shock over paternity.

Two people I know in diaspora wanted to bring their kids from 9ja. They had the kids with former girlfriends years back in 9ja. Before going abroad. DNA test was required. Both kids failed DNA test. shocked shocked

The humiliation is massive because one is married to a white lady now. He used to make mouth about how lose women are in the West. His oyinbo wife is now mocking him. grin cheesy

Nnah ehn,

If you were not seriously after dating and just wanted occasional condomised bleep, I will even hear. But possibly over 3 years of infidelity and you stayed put. Haba! Abeg check yourself.

Anyway like 80% of guys are being cheated on, only just not aware.

90% of ladies, especially students in higher institutions that I talk to, actually think dating 2, 3 or 4 guys is not really a big deal.
Even after engagement, playing away for some girls is ok.
Only after marriage most are not ready to do it. At least they claim so. It may just be "forming" decent wife things.

In infidelity stakes, girls have overtaken guys years ago, with the advent of social media and smart phones.

So make we nor cruficy this guy. We're all mostly ignorant mugus.

This guy knows, that's the only difference.
