WOW

WE REALLY NEED TO DEVELOP THAT SECTOR AND ALLOW THIS OIL OF A THING REST

NAIJA SHALL RISE AGAIN
it's a very very smelly business. Especially when gathering the solidified bits from the small tapping cups. 99% of people on this forum won't do it. Granddad's expansive rubber plantations have since been turned into farmland. Because there was a lull in demand for a period due to synthetic plastic. As an anecdote, the wars Britain fought in Southern 9ja in the 1890s, gaining control over rubber trade was a big factor. To supply budding automobile and other industries in Europe then. Including war against Benin Kingdom.

Uhm...Op,when you say Nurses...do you mean the ones in the General Hospital...that are always feelin' scorned...Probably from a failed Marriage/Relationship nd' other things that make them vent their anger on Innocent Patients...Hell,one of them wasn't Insultin' my Grandma then (May her gentle soul rest in Peace)...I immediately flared up cos of the way they were treatin' patients like they were Filth...I was pissed...my anger was boilin' until my Uncle stepped in to calm me down...If Not I for slap her...But I hope there are some carin' nurses out there though...
my dear such rude behaviour is not unique to nurses. But only few jobs come with more pressure than nursing. For just average pay. Is it police women or female custom officers who are polite? That's just a national malaise. The working environment in most govt hospitals is enough to frustrate a dedicated nurse.

When we all know how the West have struggled with ISIS, Al Qaeda and others. Even countries like Pakistan, Israel with far better intelligence services than 9ja.
People who are prepared to die and believe in massive heavenly reward for it, are not people to reason with like paddy paddy and all is sorted.
Still, GMB thinks creek militants are of same cadre as Boko. shocked

He can still do a lot though but early signs are not encouraging. The urgency of Idiagbon is absent this time.

In the entirety of your story, not once was the word LOVE used. You never loved him, but AGE was on your side and that is the only reason you got married.

I feel no pity for you.
Gbam.

Seems like somebody who married to tick the "done that" box.

If you were 7 years younger, you would probably have given the playboys some time to decide if you were worth marrying.

You transformed him physically to be presentable. But did you transform him internally/mentally?

He said you never wanted to marry him anyway, you can as well leave. He never quite digested that initial rejection.

Is it possible that you just always did your "wifely chores" devoid of proper emotional attachment? To the point that he cannot accept being managed as an "how-I-for-do" husband anymore?

My dear, am not trying to shift the blame on you. After all, he asked for marriage and persisted. He should have known there's no turning back really. I'm just trying to encourage introspection.

It would be a lot easier to call him all sorts of names, from ingrate to he-goat. While it might serve as a balm to your emotional state, it would be unhelpful.

To me, the foundation was shaky from onset. You didn't date properly. Your eyes were on two other guys too. It seems you married for the wrong reason (age not on your side). NOT for love.

. In 9ja our customer service is generally poor. Even SMEs try to some extent. In civil service and many large companies, people become demigods and forget they won't even have those jobs but for the customers. Also many get jobs through long leg and bribery, so some feel they got the job thru own smartness and no bloody customer should fail to accord respect. cheesy grin

Once elected a President governs the whole country and all become his constituents, irrespective of party affiliation. That is the rule worldwide.

By law appointments have to show federal character. That's democracy.

I'm not Igbo by the way. SS just produced GEJ, so we can be patient & not expect much.
The whole geopolitical stuff is nonsense because my part of SS has far more historical & cultural ties with SW than GEJ's part of SS.

They are dividing us so we can fight each other AND forget the serious questions we should be asking so-called leaders.

In any case, people learn in different ways. If you just have to memorise your anatomy or pharmacology for exams, you do just that. Is he saying lawyers and engineers don't cram?
Politics › Re: Ranking Of Nigerian States By Poverty Rates by AreaFada2: 3:33pm On Jul 01, 2015
Yujin:
This report does not add up. There's no how Osun could have been above Anambra even on cumulative basis. Anambra has always been ahead in all the SE states. A visit to Anambra will convince any one who is in doubt. Osun is not known for anything spectacular. Not for agriculture, not for commerce and not for mineral explorations so how comes its occupying the second position? Its simply not adding up. Only the caliber of buildings in Anambra alone will convince any doubting Thomas that the people of this state are not hungry.
If you look carefully, there isn't much difference between Osun & Anambra. Within margin of error, Anambra might actually just be ahead of Osun.

Osun, Ekiti & Anambra have something in common: high level of education. Even educated farmers are more likely to use modern methods and create more wealth.

Edo for example despite being a moderate/low oil state, ranks highly. Thanks to farming AND around 2 billion dollars of remittances from abroad yearly, improving housing conditions, health care, disposable income and helping to educate more people. Different States have different strengths.

Abuja has a relatively high poverty rate. High prices of goods and housing costs are probably mostly responsible.

Webmasters › Re: Tips For New Bloggers. by AreaFada2: 2:46pm On Jun 30, 2015
UltimateDaniel:
The blogosphere is seriously becoming a competitive arena, funny enough, new bloggers come on board with a mentality of making easy online money, with less stress and qualification (all they need is a laptop and data). Well it might shock you to know that, it's actually a wrong mentality to have at the early periods of initiation into the blogosphere.
This are few tips I will encourage new bloggers to know.

1. Follow your passion not the crowd. I think, many thinks success in blogging comes only by blogging on the most wanted niche (entertainment and news). Well, is very good, but consider the fact that so many blogs ar pointing to that, why don't you choose a nice niche. Although that is also the niche I blog on... But engage your brain to work....

2. Get a professional design. Hey, no one would be ready to b an addicted reader on a non-beautiful and unstructural blog. Some little cash has settle that! I design a responsive blog for just 3k.

3. Get a custom domain. Getting custom domain presents you professional to anyone! You find it easy navigate round online. You are also on high chances to be approved by google adsense, with fulfilling some of their requirements.

4. Get a helping hand. The truth is, you can't touch all round alone. My site had a wonderful progress, the moment I decide to form a team (Supreme Gist Team) www.supremegist.com. So get people of your same passion to form a strong Team.

5. Get to know some little on programming languages. It will help you.

6. Plan to get adsense, with decent traffic and your own original material. You can also buy adsense from me.

7. Be a professional social media personal. You need to get knowledge on social media.

8. Pray for God's progress and avoid any fraud activity. That is what Daniel Nicholas hates. Visit my site www.supremegist.com

Wish all bloggers the best!!! Happy blogging...
. Nice

Lol. Also in those Francophone countries, they are not so much into all those ostentatious swag. He grew up there you know.

In places like Togo & Benin Republic, you will see a director in a ministry and other senior officials riding a motorbike to work. With a PhD from France to their name. They might have an SUV at home.

We need that simplicity to focus on nation-building not bling bling show off (I don arrive) culture we have now.

In 9ja, before people greet you, they first look at your dress, your car and other superficial stuff.

"How you dress is how you will be addressed" has even become an anthem in 9ja. grin cheesy
