Let's be real, watching Atiku press conference yesterday was the first time I ever saw a top contender for the nations no 1 position talk about the stock market...even V.P Osinbajo is clueless about the markets, I doubt even if president buhari knows the meaning of Nse. Atiku talked about Tuesday's loss and even begged investors not to leave with their funds.
An Atiku presidency would have ushered in a capitalistic environment for investors and heavy bull on our markets...my own opinion...
i disagreed with you, foreign investors cant be hearing inciting words from the opposition and expected them not to bail out. Imagine FFK, cupp saying they will not recognize the govt of pmb and you expected investors to be at peace with those words? Just watch it, if the coast is cleared a and less inciting words from the opposition, market would stabilize. stocks on NSE are still very cheap inline with their fundamentals.

bad economic policies cannot make an already destitute more destitute
i want to disagree with you, at the start of the market this morning there mini bull cos i checked stocks like zenith gtb fidelity etc they have all added in prices and immediately there was braking news that Atiku says he rejects the result and that he would head to court then mass dumping started. This cant conntinue for long this i know. Though my opinion. Please enlighten me on those bad economic policies i want to learn ECN 411 from you

Buhari has won so it's back to business as usual, the stock market lost 85billion yesterday after inecs pronouncement. So I foresee rates rallying around 14 -15% or even inch towards 16% this year.

Brace yourselves for a bomber harvest this year.
Oga inec just pronounced early this morning the stock market loss was due to PDP agitation that they will not accept the result. Stock would surely bounce back. I like being factual and not being emotional.

If President Muhammadu Buhari wins another four-year term it will probably mean more political interference in Nigeria’s economy and slower growth, according to research by Bloomberg Economics. The opening of the Egina offshore oilfield this month and the Dangote refinery next year will deliver a near-term boost, but low capital investment is likely to inhibit growth over the medium term. BE expects Nigeria, Africa’s largest oil producer, to keep losing ground in real GDP per capita against its peers in Sub-Saharan Africa.

plx no APC vs PDP, but just business thoughts
Anyway, they can project anything but I have strong believe that whoever wins Nigeria will be great.

While we are waiting for presidential result tomorrow, let's remember that Buhari has vowed not to congratulate anyone except himself.

What do you think is the meaning of this..........?

To me,Buhari will handover power to the military who will run an interim Govt and conduct a fresh election. Both Buhari and Atiku will not be the party candidiates again.

Pls let Nigerians pray this dream will not come to pass o though malaria is worrying me now..
Am so sorry but just want to contribute one thing here, majority of we Christians are hypocrite, we only carry bible but we dont read. The bible tells us that there is know power that be that are not ordained by God and if they are not doing it accordingly God knows the best ways to take them off as He did in the case of Abacha. They said PMB is dead yet the man kept getting stronger everyday, one pastor i watched even said that he would die if he start the campaign and yet God did not Kill him. My own prayer is that God should pls keep supplying my needs according to His riches in glory irrespective of any one at the helms of affairs and God Has been doing that. God fed Elijah when there was famine in Isreal and So shall God do for us all if we believe. So dont let us be emotional on these things God will always perfect his will on our great nation nigeria. God has blessed us so tremendously its our leaders that brought us to where we are again. I had opportunity to the US but i told myself there are many things i can do here that will turn to fortune for me why go to us to wash cars when i can even create Jobs for others. Pls sir am not trying to belittle your dreams but just being realistic

Shut up my friend. apc rigged atiku's polling unit, galadima, obasanjo, bode judge etc. And nobody heard about all these your rigging complaint until now the results are coming out. I am from south East, if I tell you the level of rigging pdp did here, you won't believe it. so both parties rig. That one party outsmarted the other doesn't mean that the party is of a greater evil.
dont mind them any one God has blessed no man can course. Hatred for PMB cant allow them to think right again

I will be disappointed if Atiku accepts defeat
so if there there is no proof of being doctored then he should not accept defeat and put the whole nation in trouble?

The floated naira cannot go beyond the black market Rate of 365. It can only go beyond that rate if there either a loose fiscal or monetary policy or the 2 combined. The Naira will eventually hit 400/$ because the country's inflation rate is high in double digits.

For the currency to stay competitive, it can only be done through a depreciation or devaluation
so that has to be done at the expense of the citizens cos you want to bring in foreign investors that will eventually do capital flight!
