bodysoul: Hello my people. Abeg, I have always wanted to invest in this shares/stocks but my fear is, I don't want to loose money.
Can a good Samaritan please enlighten a brother.
I have no clue about the stock market I just want to Understand it..
No information is useless...
Thank you as ogas have rightly advised, stick to your TB if you dont want to loose money. Also stock involvement is not for the faint hearted you should be ready to research on your own and be able to read financial statement of the companies you want to invest your money. As for me, i cant leave my money for a year in TB i can get 25-30% returns in stock withing 3 months then i bail out to get 12% in tb for the rest of the yr so 40-50% returns for the year is ok for me. Remember, if you are afraid of falling you will not rise. Also, losers of the night are winners of the day. |

niyoni: Hello @ahiboilandgas. Do you mind sharing with me some information on how the wet haulage business works. I am currently looking around for lucrative business ventures. I am based in Port Harcourt and Warri. BOSS, my advice is stick what pays you and you knows best. The fact that it worked for others does not mean it would automatically work for you good investment strategy will take you there am taking to you from experience don't say because someone is successful in that aspect and you want to rush into it. If can think very well your money will keep working for u per seconds without much stress of knowing if the truck has arrived safely or not. Think and grow rich. My investment strategy before was one sided but when I saw that I need to buy property worth about 60m I changed my investment strategy inline with my risk appetite and buy God grace, Him spearing my life, it would be achieved in the next 5-6yrs. That is my 2 kobo sir |

Homextras: i tell you, no love in this market....sell when the direction is hazy...possibility of inconclusive election is scary, bear possibility...better to break even now, or even at minimal loss, and stand by the watch line..lessons of last year still fresh...better to have a portfolio of tbills, 80%... and stock 20%..that way your profit will properly hedge any unforseen loss in your stocks holdings, and ultimately, capital is preserved... also know that the road to success is always rough and stock investment is not for the faint hearted |

GonFreecss1: Transcorp?
PE of over 7, profit margin over 5 years ranges between -2 to 10%. Current debt to assets of 34%, has a price to Book of 1.04, So what is undervalued about this stock currently?
lol! To the newbies, there are better companies fundamentally out there that have better stats than this stock, but didn't even move up in price like it. Except you know for certain that we will be having a Bull market, you have no business in this stock as at now. You are basically speculating, if you expect someone to buy it from you at a higher price.
That's my 1 kobo. Loco has said it all. Hmmm I bought then and sold off as my instincts does not just go with the stock. I like good dividend paying stocks if good dividend are declared, the price will rally and atleat GTb and Zenith have never disappointed me in this regard |
