Crime › Re: Moment Palmpay Agents Arrested Debtor At Eatery After Tracking Him (Video) by aremubabs: 4:45pm On Jun 07, 2023
It seems a skit.

Who born you well to arrest a debtor?

Supposing this happened for real, the guy don cash out be that, if he is smart. Now that the video is in the public domain, there is evidence for a claim of physical harassment and kidnapping.

Ogbeni ,there is difference btw assassination and robbery
I am not sure you know what you are saying.

Which of the cases I mentioned was a robbery?

Professor Mbibu and Professor Adejobi were both assassinated.

what i am saying is there was never assasination's during Jonathans time and this regime reminds me of Abacha's .Do you understand english?
A professor was assassinated under GEJ.

Check the screenshot I attached.

Assassinations happen now and then. I still remember one of my lecturers then, Adejobi, an econometrist and professor in OAU who was assassinated in 2015.

In other word

From your English I can tell you no sabi comprehend

Be smart in relationship

Keep your options open
If everyone keeps their options open, there would hardly be a single serious relationship left.

When you ask people to be emotional cheats (in the name of being smart), you are asking them to not be totally dedicated.

I understand why you are saying this, but you will be creating more problems by asking people to not be dedicated to a relationship. How can you know the right man for you when you have like three relationships going? Supposing you are doing a type of comparative analysis, how can you make the right choice when you are hardly fully dedicated to one relationship?

The advice you should be giving people is that they should be willing to let go if they notice red flags that they cannot tolerate. Stop advising them to keep multiple relationships.

If A is not working, cut yourself off. Heal. Work on yourself. If B comes along and you feel you are ready to make a go, try B. It might take up to F to find the right one. And there is no guarantee you would even find the right one even up to Z. Stop telling people to date A-Z at the same time.
Family › Re: This 35 Year-old Lady Needs Your Advice As She Plans To Get Married by aremubabs: 6:34am On Jun 03, 2023
Fineman2:
My name is Dora.

I am 35 years old and everybody keeps reminding me that age is no longer on my side.

My fiance and I have been dating for more than one year and we are getting married soon.

My fiance is 40 years old and he has never been married.

The relationship was really good when we started but now that our wedding is in a few weeks time, he has shown how controlling he can be.

From the choice of the wedding dress, to the bridesmaids selection, to the colour of the day, he wants to be in charge.

He also wants his mum to buy the cloth for our engagement as well as buy our wedding ring.

He does whatever his family says without seeking my opinion and it almost seems as if I am not the one getting married.

I told my parents about how this makes me feel and they just asked me to endure because I am getting older but I really fear for what is going to happen after the wedding.

Are these not red flags I should run from?

I am confused, please advise me.
These are red flags.

You can endure other things, but you see that controlling part, it is not something that you would enjoy.

A controlling partner is a nightmare. It is the worst thing that can ever happen in a marriage.
Romance › Re: Heartbroken Nigerian Man, Who Returned From UK To Propose To His Girlfriend by aremubabs: 10:27am On May 13, 2023
Rizzputin:
Leaving a girl untouched for a whole year is hard.

Body no be firewood. An ex is an old flame that can be sparked with a single touch or hug.

Well too bad for you bro. Try no to go more than 2 months without fùcking your chic. And when you do fùck, rock her world
It is not about sex all the time.

This is the mistake men make.

They think a woman is all about sex and money all the time.

Sometimes, a girl wants more than that. She wants love. She wants talks. She wants just you.

At least, I had a girl like that whom I lost. It is still hurting me terribly.
Politics › Re: Ike Ekweremadu & Wife Nwanneka Sentenced To 10 Years, 6 Years Each by aremubabs: 3:56pm On May 05, 2023
KingsCity:
This is grossly unfair

At least nobody’s organ was actually harvested

And he wrote to British Embassy and duly informed them of the purpose of his visit and they never advised him. Not like he sneaked into the UK to carry out the procedure

Nigeria should cut diplomatic ties with UK until this rubbish is reversed
I have noticed that many of you don't understand the case the UK have against the Ekweremadus.

Let me educate you.

It is criminal to buy and/or sell organs.

By offering the boy money, the law took it for granted that Ekweremadu wanted to buy the boy's organ.

Organs are given freely, not bought. People who donate organs do so to help someone in need. When money becomes involved, then, you have an illegal organ harvesting market.
Politics › Re: Ike Ekweremadu & Wife Nwanneka Sentenced To 10 Years, 6 Years Each by aremubabs: 3:32pm On May 05, 2023
It is quite embarrassing that a trio of Nigerians are the first to be sentenced under the UK’s Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Honestly, with the way our image is being tarnished internationally, it would get to a point where no one would want to have anything to do with a Nigerian.

Only today, I applied for a content writing job with a small Indian firm, and immediately they saw I was Nigerian, they began to be more particular about my identity than my skills.
