This explains why numerous Nigerian school leavers do not have jobs. Courts do not prosecute anybody or even "Try" anybody. Courts determines the legality or lack thereof. Prosecutorial duties lies with ministry of justice and other branches of law enforcement agencies. The crux of matter with this thread is separation of powers in a democratic system of government. The ministry of justice is a branch of executive while courts belong to judiciary. It is unfortunate Femi Adisana does not know and cannot strike a difference between the courts and ministry of justice. Nigeria must be disintegrated for a way forward.

Judiciary does not lead the prosecution of any crime or gather evidence for prosecution. If the ministry of justice decides to withdraw the charges or even withdraw the case, the courts have no business to oppose such endeavor. I was educated from nursery to university in the South West, from Lagos to Ibadan and in every single class I attended, Christians outnumbered Muslims. In fact, the higher I climbed on the education ladder, the fewer Muslims I met. By the time I got to the University of Ibadan, I only had about 20 Muslim colleagues in a class of nearly 300 students.

These lopsided statistics can be leveled and perhaps even reversed if muslims took education more seriously. It's entirely up to them. Trying to impose quota systems will be disastrous in the long run.
