Why would you call me mumu if you don't understand what I'm saying ? Nairaland painted it as if MMM responded to the freezing of accounts by saying they warned people to use spare money. Check MMM support twitter handle and see if there is anything of such there. That tweet was in response to another thing and it was dated yesterday, not today.
You don't know me and you feel very comfortable calling me mumu. It's OK.

am sorry sir... my bad

DandyWalker:
This is propaganda! Why is Nairaland like this! Why are we propagating falsehood in the name of journalism?
Everybody should go and check MMM twitter account, there is nothing of such!

If at all, this was a response to another question by an MMM participant and it was dated yesterday.

Must we go desperate to prove a point? It is uncalled for! I'm beginning to think the government is sponsoring this platform to propagate this falsehood.

This is disgraceful!

mumu...login ur mmm and see it

funny pics we see on Nairaland lol

Sergey Mavrodi, the founder of Mavrodi Mondial Moneybox, popularly called MMM, has written an open letter to the Nigerian government warning them of the importance of the Ponzi scheme.

This is coming after persistent warnings from government organs to Nigerians against participating in the scheme.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) have previously warned Nigerians against participating in the scheme while the house of representatives also ordered an investigation into the operation of the scheme, in October.

Mavrodi's letter was displayed on the page of all participants of the scheme.

He warned the federal government that if the Ponzi scheme collapses, millions of Nigerians will suffer, noting that “MMM is their only means of livelihood”.

He stated that the money being made from the scheme was being redistributed among Nigerians as a way of “restoring social justice”.

The letter reads in part: “So far MMM has come under a constant attack from you. In this regard, I would like to ask you a few simple questions. Since you are concerned with the interests of millions of your fellow citizens, I hope that you would be so kind to answer them.

“What are you trying to get? Do you want the MMM System to collapse and millions of people to suffer? Who will support them then if now MMM is their only means of livelihood? Will you? You even don’t pay wages to people? Or might you not care about them? Might you be using a trendy topic to make a good name for yourselves? What will you say to a mother who will have no money to buy food for her child? Will you let her child die for the sake of the higher interests of the economy?

“You say that MMM is a scam. What is the scam here, if all members are warned in advance about all the risks, the possible and impossible ones? They know there are no investments at all. The warning is a red text on a yellow background placed on most prominent place of the website.

“You say that MMM is bad. Why? Yes, it produces nothing, but nothing gets out of the country either. The money is just redistributed among the citizens of Nigeria. It gets from those who are richer to poorer ones, in this way restoring social justice. What’s wrong with that?

“You have repeatedly stated that “it should be investigated!.. researched!..” It means you know nothing about this System yet; you even haven’t understood how it works.

“And finally. If you know what is right for people, why is the life so bad in the country?”

He further noted that the MMM “has been working in Nigeria for a year, and according to your estimates, the total number of members now is about 3 million people”.

[b]Myth #5 | Avoiding sharing a competitor’s blogs so you don’t lose readers

Most Nigerian Bloggers are guilty of this, it's very rare to see a Nigerian blogger link to another blogger on the same niche

All the same it's quite normal to feel intimidated by someone who has a better blog or bigger audience. But sharing a competitor’s blog posts does two things.
First , it helps to spread the blog's good karma online.

Secondly, it shows your readers and followers that you really want to help them, even if it means going to someone else. .

Please tell them o... we got an exclusive news that went viral https://www.nairaland.com/3493897/armed-masked-men-rape-bayelsa...thanks to cc; nairaland, lalasticlala, dominique and mynd44 i think one of them pushed it to the front page and lot of blogs carried it... i googled the story and two site got my attention; naijaloaded and olufamous. these guys copied the post and gave us funny credit...lol... Olu famous was like 'according to ASB'... meanwhile, we are AsbGistNigeria. We all can be very stingy giving credit...we shud work on that and take mentor-ship from foreign bloggers...even pictures they use, they always give credit

Unpaid Bonuses: Nigeria's Super Falcons 'refuse' To Leave Hotel - http://www.asbgistng.com/2016/12/unpaid-bonuses-super-falcons-refuse.html

The Nigerian Super Falcons who emerged champions of women's Africa Cup of Nations for the eighth time on Saturday are still left frustrated in Abuja after the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) failed to redeem its pledge to pay the team on Monday.

The team arrived Lagos on Sunday after beating hosts Cameroon in the final on Saturday.

They were moved to Abuja with a promise that allowances and match bonuses of players and officials would be paid on Monday when banks opened for business.

According to BBC journalist Oluwashina Okeleji, the footballers have refused to leave the hotel until they are paid.

Sports Minister Solomon Dalung reportedly spent most of the day at the Presidential Villa trying to convince the Presidency to release some money so as to allow the NFF pay the ladies.

It is not the first time the women, who get paid considerably less than their male counterparts, have had problems over bonuses.

In another shocking case, an official told New Telegraph that the players were also left livid by the way the federation treated the issue of injured Onome Ebi who needed to operate her wounded arm at the National Hospital, Abuja on Monday.

“The federation promised that they will pay the bill which is about N500, 000 but nobody has showed up. Onome is going ahead with the surgery whether they come or not, she has even paid the deposit,” another player who sought anonymity said.

The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International (OFM), Apostle Johnson Suleman, has said that the Mavrodi Mondial Movement investment scheme, popularly called (MMM) is Satanic, adding that anyone involved is demonic.

Speaking during a church service, the clergyman said: "Go and check the founder of MMM. He was a fraudster in America; defrauded people, and that's what you're involving yourself in and you are a Christian, looking for easy way out. Many Christians have gotten involved. If you are involved in MMM, I have to pray for you today. It's not of God. Any quick fix way for money is not of God because some people are being defrauded to enrich some other people."

"Any quick-rich scheme is wrong. In life, everything you get if is not favour from a particular individual. If it's quick favour through a process, you will pay for it later. If it's a person you know that walked up to you and blesses you, take it. That's favour. But a quick business transaction that can bring a return of over 200 person, is not of God."

МММ started in Russia. It perpetrated one of the world's largest Ponzi schemes of all time in the 1990s.

In 2015, MMM began operating in South Africa with the same business model as MMM-2011, claiming a "30% per month" return through a "social financial network". The group was identified as a possible pyramid scheme by the National Consumer Commission and accounts of clients were later frozen by Capitec Bank in response to mounting criticism and official investigations by state authorities.

In 2016, supporters of the South African MMM scheme staged a protest march in Johannesburg, and has started up again late November 2016.
