United States President, Donald Trump on Monday stirred controversy online after he referred to Muhammadu Buhari Nigerian president as ‘Lifeless’.

Trump made the statement shortly after a meeting between the two leaders on April 30, Financial Times reported on Monday.

According to reports, Donald Trump told his aides that he don't want to meet with Buhari again in his life, "I want to meet with a president that worth meeting", he reportedly added.

President Buhari who has made a shocking revelation about meeting with President Donald Trump, said that Trump made that statement out of anger because he denied America oil.

"My meeting with Trump was to talk about how to fight corruption and terrorism that can help the two countries but he was begging me to help America with oil so i declined; If am so 'Lifeless' I would not have being able to trek 800 metres", he reportedly said.

However, this has stirred divergent opinions online as some agreed with Trump calling for Buhari not to seek re-election in 2019.

Victor Moses will not make his second Premier League appearance of the new season in Chelsea's game week three clash against Newcastle United at St James' Park this afternoon.

One of the big names omitted from The Blues squad is Moses, who quit international football eleven days ago in order to focus on his family and club.

The Blues number fifteen is behind Pedro, Eden Hazard and Willian in Maurizio Sarri's pecking order of wingers and the trio have been included in the 18, with the Spaniard and Belgian starting, while the Brazilian is on the bench.

The final burial rites of the late Reggae legend, Ras Kimono, have commenced.

On Thursday morning, the late musician’s body left the TOS Funeral Home where it has been preserved since his June 10, 2018 death.

A convoy of vehicles with full loads of family, friends and associates lined the impeccable road that leads to Magodo — the late musician’s place of residence — as the hearse bearing his remains was driven out of the lush environment where the TOS Funeral Home is.

The dreadlocked musician had reportedly slumped at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, while waiting to board a flight to the United States, on the night of Saturday, June 9.

According to sources close to him, Kimono was immediately rushed to an unnamed hospital in Ikeja, Lagos, and then taken to another hospital on the Island, where he later died on Sunday morning.

Dispelling certain speculations that Kimono might have been battling a serious ailment resulting in his demise, his manager, Daddy Faizer, had said that the singer underwent a medical test about three weeks prior and that his doctors had said he was in good shape

Kimono’s remains made the onward journey to his Onicha Olona ancestral home in the Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State on Thursday morning.

Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) tore into President Trump on Monday, saying he acted like a “fan boy” of Russian President Vladimir Putin in their "embarrassing" press conference earlier in the day.

“You stood there like a little wet noodle, like a little fan boy,” Schwarzenegger said in a Twitter video directed at Trump. “I was asking myself when you are going to ask him for an autograph or a selfie or something like that.”

Schwarzenegger in the 45-second video accuses Trump of attacking the intelligence community and the Justice Department by refusing to denounce Russian interference in the 2016 election.

“You’re the president of the United States. You shouldn’t do that,” Schwarzenegger said. “What’s the matter with you?”

Schwarzenegger, who was born in Austria, then questioned what happened to the “strong words” during the Cold War from former President Ronald Reagan.

“What happened to the strong words and the strength of Ronald Reagan when he stood there at the Berlin Wall and said 'Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall'?”

“What happened to all that?” Schwarzenegger asked before ending the video with a deep sigh.

The General Overseer of the Household of God Church, Rev. Chris Okotie, has revealed that God instructed him to tell the ruling APC and PDP to adopt him as consensus candidate for the 2019 presidential election.

Speaking on Sunday, while declaring interest in next year’s election, Okotie said that time had come for truth and transparency in governance.

The cleric also noted that Nigeria was more divided and segregated than ever before.

Okotie said: “The dream of a great Nigeria, which flowered at independence, the yearnings and aspirations of the people and the Nigerian brotherhood whose ensign dominated the political horizon at independence, have all been consigned to oblivion.

“Times like this require the recruitment of patriotic gladiators who must now take up the gauntlet to defend the Nigerian dream.

“I have re-emerged from my political hibernation to contest for the office of president in the forthcoming elections. I am fully persuaded that Nigeria needs a man who is credible, dependable and trustworthy; a God-fearing man who will be readily embroidered with compassion and love for country who will be readily accepted as a symbol of national unity.

“I believe that the benevolent grace of God has telescoped these virtues into my person, to prepare me for such at a time as this.

“In sincere humility and deference to our democratic institutions, I appeal to the APC and PDP to subscribe to this ideal by adopting me as a consensus presidential candidate at the next elections.

“I ask the APC and PDP, respectfully, within the confines of conventional propriety, to temporise and observe a peaceful hiatus in the commonality of the Nigerian brotherhood, and embrace me as a consensus remedial facilitator.”

Trouble-prone pop star Justin Bieber will be a married man after popping the question to model Hailey Baldwin whom he has dated for one month, reports said on Sunday.

The 24-year-old Canadian heartthrob, who has become better known for his off-stage antics, proposed to the 21-year-old over dinner Saturday night at a restaurant in The Bahamas, the celebrity news site TMZ said.

While access to the historic summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will be tightly restricted, hundreds of Singaporeans got the next best thing on Saturday when two lookalikes showed up at a downtown mall.

Hong Kong-based impersonator Howard X, who has attracted worldwide attention in recent months for his impression of Kim, appeared on stage with Trump lookalike Dennis Alan.

During a promotional event dubbed the "real" Trump-Kim summit, the men waved at shoppers as they walked through the crowded Bugis Junction mall.

The duo shook hands and embraced on stage, hamming it up for onlookers who whipped out mobile phones.

But selfies came at a cost: those wanting a souvenir shot had to download the app the pair were pushing, and pay Sg$15 ($11) for pictures with both lookalikes.

"Thank you for all the donations you have been making to North Korea, well, me. I really really appreciate it, because we are really cash-strapped," Howard X said as dozens lined up for their turn with him.

Chen Ziyang, 28, who was queueing for a picture, said the impersonators had "almost 99 percent resemblance to the real Kim and Trump".

The men have tie-ups with several local businesses and will also make an appearance at a seafood restaurant.

Like the real-life leaders, fake Kim and Trump are no strangers to controversies of their own.

On Friday, Howard X said he was questioned for two hours by an immigration officer when he arrived at the city-state's Changi Airport ahead of the real summit on Tuesday.

When he previously appeared at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in South Korea with the same Donald Trump lookalike, he was escorted out by security after waving and dancing in front of North Korea's cheerleaders.

Self-proclaimed Kenyan prophet Nabii Yohana (V) from Nandolia village, Bukembe West Ward Kanduyi Constituency, who has married 39 wives, and have born him 103 children and 232 grandchildren, says God told him to marry up to 48 wives to avoid committing adultery.

Three of his wives are deceased yet he says he’s not done.

“God chooses these wives for me. I have never dated any of them but God brings them to me,” he said. “And according to God’s word, I’m supposed to marry up to 48 wives so that I don’t commit adultery,” says the man who has never shaved since birth.

Nabii who is a strict vegetarian has five homes: Six of his wives live in Soi, Lugari Sub County, five in Kimilili, five in Chereng’any, 16 in Kakamega town and four are in Kitale town.

He revealed that his wives cook for him saga, suja (bitter vegetables) and murenda. He doesn’t eat meat.

Originally born Ronald Nakalila Wanyama, Nabii claims that he is the reincarnated John the Baptist.

“I am John the Baptist who was beheaded. I lived as a white man in the US and now Africa where I’ll live for 280 years,” he said, adding that, “According to the prophecy God gave me, I will die but resurrect and live for another 2,700 years.”

Nabii claims that he is on a mission to, “Save mankind from corruption, homosexuality and bad governance. I am the way, the truth and the last prophet sent by God.”

But to perform this role, he has revised the current bible because it is outdated.

“My bible will be unveiled on April 23 at my Muungano Church of Holy Spirit for All Nations at Nandolia village in Bungoma,” he said.

“President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto will be the chief guests during the launch because we want them to give us money for printing many books to be distributed countrywide,” he said.

In an interview with The Nairobian at his home in Bungoma County, Nabii claims his bible which took him 68 years to author has 93 books: 48 books for Old Testament.

Some of the books include Mfarisayo Wilson, Agnes, Mfarisayo Geoffrey, Benson (II), Peter Petro and Mfarisayo Peter among others. Nabii’s new bible only has verses unlike the Holy Bible which is divided into chapters.

The self-proclaimed prophet who commands a huge following in Bungoma, Uasin Gishu, Nandi and Kisumu County says churches in Kenya have until April this year to migrate.

Meanwhile, the prophet says he will petition the government to replace the shilling with his currency called mzawadi and he wants President Uhuru to move Central Bank headquarters to the Kenya-Uganda border at Lwakhakha where his new currency ‘Mzawadi ‘ will be launched.

“The current currency is the source of all ills like corruption, robbery with violence, political assassinations and the spread of HIV /AIDS and it must be abolished for this country to prosper. The image of President Mzee Jomo Kenyatta on the currency implies that it his private property,” he told The Nairobian.

Nabii who also prays for the sick and claims to resurrect the dead, has clients ranging from politicians to top government officials.

“I bring back the dead by jumping over them three times,” he said. To heal the sick, “I step on them and they receive their healing.”

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu to lead the reconciliation process of members of the party.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu in a statement on Tuesday said this reconciliation process is part of the efforts to improve cohesion in the party.

“As part of on-going efforts to improve cohesion within the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Muhammadu Buhari has designated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lead the consultation, reconciliation and confidence building efforts.”

According to Shehu, the assignment of the national leader of the party will involve resolving disagreements among party members, party leadership and political office holders in some states of the Federation.
