Two married men who resided in the same area, Mr. Adewale Ibitoye, 42 and one Moses Okrukpe, 32, have landed in big trouble after they left their wives and secretly slept with a 14-year old girl in Lagos. The police in Igando Division have been battling to arrest a robbery syndicate who had been terrorizing the residents of Egan, Akesan Igando and its environs for over a period of time in Lagos. A 38-year old arrested suspect, Mr. Walter Ogwu, has expressed satisfaction having to go back to prison after a court in Lagos ordered him to be remanded in custody. The excited Delta State-born Ogwu said he was used to the prison condition and had gone to prison several times for stealing before the last arrest. Three young sex workers trafficked from the SouthEast to a popular hotel in Lagos have confessed that they stressed and over worked their private parts in order to meet up with the targets set by their captors. Two lovers have been arrested for running a human trafficking syndicate. 27-year old Ikechukwu Egbulefu and 27-year old Vera John, were said to specialists in recruiting teenage girls from Imo, Akwa-Ibom and Rivers States for prostitution before they were arrested by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command. The suspects were arrested at their hideout at Wagbas Hotel Ajah, Lagos, where they camp girls as sex slaves. The fate of two kids of the same parents remained unknown after they were abducted and taken to an unknown location by suspected kidnappers in their school located inside a Catholic Church in Anambra State. The kids, Master Franklin Ezekwere, 4 and his sister Maryann, 2, were said to have been abducted at the Igwedimma Nursery and Primary School located inside St Matthew’s Catholic Church, Amawbia in Awka South Local Government of Anambra State. A 60-year old man, Mr. Amusat Ashiru, has confessed in Lagos that he enjoyed sex with his 12-year old daughter (name withheld) for four years but did not know that he will impregnate her. The incident happened at 40 Efon Alaye Street in Orisumbare area of Shasha Lagos where they resided. Ashiru revealed that he did not marry the mother of the victim; he only got the mother pregnant and she gave birth to the victim. A former Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Ngozi Braide, is now counting her losses after her driver; one Mr. Philip Jonathan reportedly burgled her bedroom, carted away her belongings, foreign currency worth about N10m and escaped in Lagos. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at her home in the Maryland of Lagos where she lived with her family. It was learnt that Mr. Jonathan, 38, targeted Braide when she was not around. A 30-year old randy man, Mr. Akindele Ismaila has landed in trouble after he sneaked into a lady’s apartment in Lagos to make love to her but got arrested as a criminal as the lady was said to have lost her phone. The landlord of 23, Adeoye Street Oko Baale Onipanu in Abeokuta, Ogun State, one Mr. Sunday Omosule, has been arrested by the police for killing his tenant’s son, Joseph Sunday Akpan, with a pestle. Police operatives from the Lagos State Command busted some teenagers suspected to be cult members inside a forest where they had gone for initiation. A 26-year old man, Daniel Essien, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for having an unlawful carnal knowledge of a six year old girl (Name withheld). The suspect who hailed from Akwa Ibom State, lived and worked in the same neighbourhood with the victim’s parents. He was arrested after a complaint was lodged by the victim’s mother, Ayoola Tolulope, of No.6, Olufemi Oshin Street, Alagbole Akute. Mrs. Ayoola reported that she was called by her child’s school teacher to put her eyes on her daughter as the girl had confided in her that a man had been abusing her sexually. A 25-year old bar attendant, Mr. Emeka ThankGod, has been arrested by the operatives of Anti-Cultism team with a container of substance suspected to be human blood which he had procured for money rituals in Lagos. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the arrest was made at a popular joint located at Opebi area of Ikeja, Lagos, where he worked before he was arrested. Residents of Okota area in Lagos expressed shock and rained curses on a man, Chief Enekwa, for ordering the arrest of three teachers including the school proprietress, for using cane as a corrective measure on his two children. Members of the Odua Peoples’ Congress, OPC, were in tears as the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal, ordered for the destruction of their shrine located under the Opebi link bridge in Ikeja, Lagos. P.M.EXPRESS reports that CP Edgal led a team of detectives to the shrine yesterday. He said that the operators of the shrine carried out trials by proxy and tortured those arrested. The Police in Ogun State have arrested a 21-year old lady, Amudalat Taiwo, for throwing her 12 days old baby into a pit latrine. Operatives of the IGP’s Intelligence Response Team, (IRT), led by DCP Abba Kyari, have nabbed the killers of two students of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State. The arrest of the killers followed the information received on 3rd June, 2018, from one Oriade Adeola Rafiu. He said that on 28th May, 2018, at about 2300hrs, his brother, Oriade Adebisi, (a student of Olabisi Onabanjo University) was driving in his Honda Crosstour car with registration number FST 350 FA together with his girlfriend, one Julian Eke Imaga, at Oru-Ijebu after a visit to his friend “Akogun”. Oriade Adeola narrated that all of a sudden as his brother was driving towards Oru junction, three armed men emerged on a motorcycle. The armed men were said to have whisked away Oriade Adebisi and his friend together with the Honda car to an unknown destination. Two brothers Emmanuel Ogaba a.k.a Tablet, 45, Matthew Ogaba, 30, were among the seven suspects arrested for armed robbery by the operatives of Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, FSARS, Lagos State Command. A 31-year old company driver, Mr. Dominic Nege has been arrested by the police after he diverted a truck load of Trophy lager beer products, sold products for N30, 000 and escaped. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the Benue State-born Nege, claimed that he was being paid peanuts and the company still went ahead and slashed his salary. Mr. Nege was among the suspected and arrested criminals paraded by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Imohimi Edgal at the Police Command, Lagos. The Lagos State Police Command on Thursday debunked allegation raised by a masked lady in a video on the social media accusing a police inspector, Marcel Nnabugwu of living in opulence and above his means. The lady in the said video which had since gone viral on the internet, had alleged that Nnabugwu owns a property at No. 27, Remi Fani-Kayode Street, GRA, Ikeja worth N250million, as well as exotic car with a customized license plate number titled “MCON”. The lady had further alleged in the video that the moment the officer in question enters into any night club, the club shuts down to all customers to attend to his needs. She had also estimated the officer to worth over N2 billion, claiming that he spent millions of Naira during his 30th Birthday party recently, and thereafter requested the police authorities to investigate the source of wealth of the officer whom she further alleged to be serving in Mopol 18 Owerri. A 33-year old, Mr. Ismali Oseni has been arrested after he attacked a female socialite, Alhaja Bola Oyeniyi in Lagos. Tragedy struck at Paul’s University, Awka, the capital of Anambra State as a student reportedly slumped and died within the school premises.
