A 42-year old man, Oluwaseyi Ojikutu, has landed in trouble after he allegedly lured a 14-year old girl and engaged her in sex in Lagos State. P.M.EXPRESS reports that he has been arrested. The incident happened at Inaye Road, Epe area of Lagos State, where they reside. The Police alleged the suspect to have lured the girl, confused her with words of mouth and engaged her in sex. However, the act was exposed after the girl realized herself, told her parents what happened and her parents reported to the Police in the area. The suspect was arrested and later transferred to the Gender Section of the State Command for interrogation over the act. Desperate bids by drug cartels to push out millions of illicit drug tablets across Lagos and other parts of the country for the festive season have been frustrated by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, with the seizure of 8,381,600 capsules and tablets of Tramadol as well as 56,782 bottles of codeine among others in major raids in Lagos State. Ahead of Christmas, the Chairman/Chief Executive, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), had ordered a sustained surveillance on some targets at Satellite town and Alaba Rago areas of Lagos. The Satellite town target was eventually raided on Thursday 23rd December, when the drug kingpin, Ezekiel Ibe, was arrested and over five tons of high milligrams Tramadol; 225mg and 100mg recovered from his warehouse. A breakdown of the seized drug shows 7,991,600 Tramadol tablets and 390,000 capsules of same weighing 5,468.894 kilograms. In another raid on Monday 20th December following tasking surveillance in a notorious neighborhood at Alaba Rago, Alaba area of Lagos, one Surajo Mohammed was arrested with 941.14kg cannabis while 56,782 bottles of codeine were seized from the store of another drug lord still at large. Meanwhile, operatives of the Agency have arrested a 22-year old Amaka Ogonachukwu for attempting to smuggle wraps of cocaine concealed in cooked white rice for her boyfriend, Monday Imagbebenikaro, 40, in the custody of the Edo State Command of NDLEA. Police Intelligence operatives in Lagos State have arrested a 28-year old man, Pope Oganla, for secretly engaging a 14-year old girl in sex for 7 years. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect allegedly started abusing the girl since 2015 when she was 7 years old till sometime in October 2021 when he was caught and then exposed by the girl over the dastardly act. The incident happened at Ishawo Road, Ikorodu area of Lagos, where they reside. The Police alleged the suspect to have abused the girl by tempering with her private part by putting his fingers before he eventually penetrated and defiled her. Police operatives from the Gender Section of the Lagos State Command have arrested a 45-year old man, Emmanuel Ogar, for allegedly stripping self naked and allegedly handling his two daughters’ breasts in order to seduce them into having sex. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Sarumi Street, Agege area of Lagos, where they reside. The man was said to have locked the door from inside, stripped self naked, grabbed the victims (aged between 6 and 9 years) and fondled their breasts in order to lure them into sex. However, the victims raised alarm, which attracted their neighbours and the door was forced open. They narrated how the man, their biological father, sexually molested them by touching their breasts after he had stripped self naked to seduce them. A 28-year old man, Abdulraman Arizika, has done the unthinkable after he allegedly lured a 9-year old girl and engaged her in sex inside a market in Lagos State. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Mile 12 Market square in the morning at about 8am on 8th December, 2021, in a corner of the market. However, while he was in the act, he was caught by security men around, who forced him to remove his dick from her private part and handed over to the Police for interrogation over the act. A 6-year old girl has allegedly been defiled in Lagos State after she was forcefully engaged in sex by their neighbour, Abuchi Mgbada, for two days. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Adeola Street, Barber Roundabout, Ayobo area of Lagos, where they reside. The 25-year old suspect, Abuchi Mgbada, has been arrested by the Police over the alleged defilement. The Police alleged the suspect to have lured the little girl on 17th and 25th October, 2021, and engaged her in sex but warned her not to tell anybody about what happened. However, after the dastardly act, the girl was bleeding from her private part and her parents asked to know who tempered with her private part and she mentioned that it was the suspect, Mgbada. A 7- year old girl was allegedly gang-raped by four men and suffered serious injury in her private part inside the Military Cantonment in Ikeja, Lagos. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened on 3rd November, 2021, at about 2pm inside the cantonment. They were said to have lured the little girl and took turns to defile her before they allowed her to go. Having satisfied themselves, they escaped leaving the victim bleeding profusely from her private part before her parents rushed her to an undisclosed hospital for treatment. What could have led the suspects to have brutally abused the girl was not disclosed by the Police, who alleged them to have lured the victim into an apartment and abused her. The matter was reported to the Police and the Commissioner of Police Special Squad, trailed them and eventually arrested one of the perpetrators, Araga Victor, 27. He was detained at the Command for interrogation where he reportedly confessed and mentioned his accomplices now at large. Gallant Police operatives from the Anambra State Command on 5th December, 2021, at about 0530 hours, intercepted a three-man armed robbery gang operating around Idemili Flyover, Obosi by Onitsha-Owerri Road. According to DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, Anipr PPRO, Anambra State Police Command, the hoodlums, who were about to rob passengers travelling in a Toyota Sienna van, opened fire on sighting the Police. P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the operatives responded swiftly gunning down two armed suspects, later identified as Chinedu Okeri ‘M’ from Enugu and Chukwuebuka Orizu from Anambra State, while the third suspect, Abuchi Osim ‘M’ from Enugu State, was arrested. Police recovered two locally made pistols, five cartridges and the tricycle, which brought the gangsters to scene of the crime. In a follow up operation, the arrested suspect led the operatives to their criminal hideout in Atani, Ogbaru LGA, were Chinedu Ogunna ‘M’ 21, Arinze Chukwu ‘M’ 16 and Ebuka Ayazie ‘M’ 18, were arrested. A 30-year old man,Henry Ukwueze, who allegedly caught with a 9-year old girl, has confessed to the Police that he only used his fingers to penetrate her private part to avoid being accused of sexually abusing her because she is still a minor. P.M.EXPRESS reports that Ukwueze made the confession after he was allegedly caught molesting his neighbour’s girl and handed over to the Police for rape. The incident happened at Emma Akuku Estate, Isashi area of Lagos, where they reside. A 53-year old man, Adekunle Aladesanmi, has landed in trouble for allegedly conspiring with a nurse, Wuraola Ibrahim, to induce abortion on a 14-year old girl and they were arrested in Lagos State. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Temidire Street, Ajegunle, Apapa area of Lagos, where they reside. The Police alleged that the victim got pregnant and the suspect conspired and administered some drugs in order to terminate the pregnancy. The Police however, did not state if it was Aladesanmi that got her pregnant or not before taking her to the nurse, Wuraola, for the abortion. Barely 24 hours after one man, Gbenga Olusunkanmi, was jailed for life for defiling a 12-year old girl in a dastardly manner, another man has also been sentenced to life imprisonment without an option of fine by the same Court in Lagos State. P.M.EXPRESS reports that Justice Abiola Soladoye of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on Thursday sentenced a 54-year old man, Bashir Olashekere, for defiling his neighbour's 10-year old daughter and wiping her private part with a red cloth. Justice Soladoya found Olashekere guilty of a charge of defiling his neighbour’s 10-year-old daughter contrary to Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015. The trial judge described Olashekere as a “randy neighbour” while being sentenced to life imprisonment for defilement of the victim. “Children are special and should be nurtured with love and care and should not be molested by an irresponsible randy neighbour. The defendant therefore is to pay for his sexual indiscretions,” ruled the judge. “The defendant should be shamed. Defilement is a heinous crime against the victim. Not only is the victim traumatised, she will live with it forever.” “It is hoped that the naming and shaming of this perpetrator will help step down cases of defilement in this state of excellence.” “The defendant acted irresponsibly with reckless abandon by defiling his neighbour’s daughter. Anger is destructive when one considers what happened to a 30-year old man, Savour Aniefok, who allegedly flogged his own biological son to death in the process of beating him as a form correction in Lagos State. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Abdulquadri Adebiyi Street, Suya spot in Magodo Phase 2, Shangisha area of Lagos, where they resides. The suspect, Aniefok, has been arrested and transferred to the SCID, Panti, Yaba over the death of his son, Nathaniel and is now facing charge for murder, which attracts life imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty before the Court. What could have led Aniefok to kill his son was not disclosed but Police sources stated he returned from work and the deceased committed an undisclosed offence. The Police Provost at the Lagos Command reportedly got what he did not bargain for after his men arrested a dismissed Police officer, Aiyebelehim Olarewaju and brought to him on routine trial. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the 44-year old Olarewaju was said to have stated clearly that he was not tired as an officer and has been performing his duty on the road as usual. He told the Provost the purported dismissal was not binding on him because he still has many years to serve the Nigerian people despite the sack. It was gathered that Olarewaju was dismissed from the Police Force for committing an undisclosed offence to serve as deterrent to other Police officers, who are still in the service. However, the purported dismissal did not have any effect on the suspect, Olarewaju, because he continued wearing his uniform and went about performing Police functions before he was arrested. Facts have emerged how a 23-year old man, Isaac Oluwaseun, allegedly murdered a 16-year old boy, David Baruwa, and hid his corpse inside his wardrobe before he was caught in Lagos State. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Arobaba Street, Idimu area of Lagos where the suspect resides with the victim’s parents. Police detectives from the SCID, Panti, Yaba, Lagos, have already arrested the suspect Oluwaseun and detained him for investigation over the circumstances that led to the murder of the deceased he allegedly kept inside wardrobe. A 56-year old man, Okorocha, has been for allegedly using a cutlass he kept for robbers to inflict injury on his neighbour, Shokunbi Raymond, during a public fight in Lagos State. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Ogunbiyi Street, Oshodi area of Lagos, where they reside. The Police alleged that Okorocha had a disagreement with his neighbour, Raymond, over an undisclosed matter and in anger, Okorocha went inside his apartment and brought out a sharp cutlass and inflicted injury on Raymond’s head. Raymond was said to have bled profusely and was rushed to the hospital while the alleged assault was reported at Makinde Police Division. A 17-year old boy is still enveloped in shock after a 35-year old man, Isah Idris, allegedly lured him to an apartment and tried to forcefully put his dick inside boy’s anus in order to satisfy his sexual desire in Lagos State. A 53-year old woman, Elizabeth Adeitan, has landed in trouble after she allegedly caught attempting to poison a suspect, believed to be his brother, Tobi Adeitan, detained inside Police cell at the Lagos State Command. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at the Commissioner of Police Strike Team’s cell at the Police Headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos, where the suspect, Tobi was detained over an undisclosed offence. The motive for the woman, Elizabeth, to have attempted to poison Tobi believed to be her relation was not disclosed by the Police. The Police alleged that while Tobi was in the Police cell, Mrs. Elizabeth reportedly prepared food and inserted a black powdery substance, suspected to be poison, inside the bowl of rice to give the suspect to eat. However, the whole plans got exposed after Elizabeth was asked to taste the food and she reportedly refused to taste it but was trying to lure the Police officer on duty to give Tobi the food to eat. The Police operatives from the Commissioner of Police Special Task Force have smashed a kidnapping syndicate, which had been terrorizing Lagosians for a long time at Lekki and Ajah axis of the State. This followed the arrest of two suspected kidnappers after abducting victims and collecting N8.2m ransom from them in Lagos State. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspects, Luke Forojoh, 35 and Tipan. Okoro, 28, were arrested at Sangotedo high sea of Ajah, Lagos, after they abducted a woman, Akindipe Eniola, Ibrahim Aliu, Niu Guohua and Aliu Ibrahim and kept in captivity at gun point until they paid the ransom before they were released. It was gathered the suspects were not committing such crime for the first time as they were said to have engaged kidnapping as their normal business and when they kidnap victims, they will keep them across the high sea until after payment of ransom. A man, Emmanuel Uzochukwu, is now counting his losses in Lagos Stateafter he was swindled N14m under the false pretence of getting admission into the University of Luxembourg but it turned out to be a scam. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the self acclaimed agent of the school, Darlington Anyanwu, has been arrested. The incident happened at FESTAC town, Lagos, where the victim, Emmanuel, met the suspect and parted with the money. According to Police sources, the suspect convinced the victim that he was an agent of the school in Nigeria and offered to secure both admission and travelling documents before he gave him the money. The victim, Emmanuel, was given a date when the whole arrangement will be ready and he waited only to discover later that there was no such arrangement because the suspect absconded with the money and did not process any admission of travel documents. When the victim contacted him, he started threatening him with violence in order to intimidate him so that he would be scared to demand for his money. The alleged scam was then reported to the Commissioner of Police, who directed his officers to trail and arrest the suspect, Darlington and one other person now at large. It was a glamourous atmosphere in Lagos State as various ethnic groups converged with their cultural attires for the official unveiling of a nongovernmental organisation, known as Peace Ambassador Initiatives, to promote peace and unity in Nigeria. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the unveiling took place at the weekend at the group's National Secretariat located at No. 52 Governor's Road, Ikotun area of Lagos State. The epoch making event witnessed the presence of dignitaries including the traditional ruler of Hausa Community in Alimosho, Alhaji Alhassan. Other ethnic groups including the Yoruba, Igbo, South South, Hausa and other nationalities were fully represented and they expressed the need to live together in peace and harmony in Nigeria. At the unveiling event, the President of the group, Ambassador Ezewele Cyril Abionanojie, stated that the Peace Ambassador Initiatives is a non governmental humanitarian global peace initiative and voluntary development organisation established and registered at Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Abuja, Nigeria. The well travelled respected author and hospitality guru stated that the mission and vision are centered at ethno-religious conflicts resolution in countries around the world through arbitration, dialogue and sensitization for the actualization of sustainable peace. Ambassador Ezewele emphasized that peace is the life gate to collective progress for the betterment of all irrespective of our individual tribe, religious affiliations and geographical location. He explained that the group's motto is justice, peace and unity geared towards guiding us enroute for researching and implementation of a meaningful and scholarly engagement on how to live in peace and harmony as we resolve conflicts without violence. "We must rise from the unproductive seat of shifting blames to the productive field of fixing the broken pieces. We must be ready to learn, unlearn and relearn in order to love and embrace ourselves with one vision or we risk to hate and destroy ourselves as fools" he posited. Ezewele appealed to Nigerians to be part of the peace vanguard as there is every need to join hands and solve problems or we become part of the problem if we fail to be part of the solution. A 30-year old man, Saheed Sururaini, has landed in trouble in Lagos after he allegedly confused, lured a 14-year old girl and engaged her in sex and he was caught. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect, Sururaini, has been arrested over alleged defilement. The incident happened at Idi Aba area of Epe, Lagos, where they reside. He was said to have lured the girl after he confused her with words of mouth and then engaged her in sex severally. A clergyman, Pastor Justice Aniele, of the Assemblies of God Church, who repeatedly raped and eventually impregnated a 14-year old orphan under his care, has been handed life imprisonment in River State. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Amaji Community in Omuma Local Government area of Rivers State. The 39-year old Pastor Aniele has been convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment for the dastardly act on the orphan by a River State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt. He was found guilty of engaging in unlawful sexual exploitation of the orphaned girl, which led to pregnancy. The Police arrested Pastor Aniele for consistently raping the girl before he got her pregnant and then charged him before the Court for trial. The Presiding Judge, Justice Augusta Kingsley-Chuku, in her judgement, found him guilty of the crime. Justice Kingsley-Chuku condemned Pastor Aniele for the sexual exploitation of the minor, who she noted was under his protective care. She noted that the sexual exploitation resulted to pregnancy and the birth of a little baby boy that later died. The Court also held that Pastor Aniele did not show any remorse for his actions by attempting to abort the pregnancy. A 49-year old sex starved man, Femi Ogunbiyi, has displayed his boxing prowess on his wife, Folashade, by giving her blows and knocking her down during a public fight over accumulated anger in Lagos State.
