The responsibility then of keeping this beautiful gift now falls on not just the spiritual leaders of the church but on all of us who bear the identity CATHOLIC. But every time I go for mass I sometimes ask myself is this the same Catholic Church I have always known as a child…?

Fresh crisis may be looming in the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the Governor of Kogi State; His Excellency Yahaya Bello, has confirmed that President Buhari’s wife is interested in having her choice candidate take over the office of the party’s National Women Leader. Bello claimed that Mr President’s wife has mandated him to stop the APC National Women Leader, Dr Ramatu Tijjani from being re-elected for a second term.

The family members of a retired Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP Joseph Idehen, are alleging that his wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Taiwo Idehen of Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministry, Ishawo, Ikorodu, Lagos, alongside her children conspired and killed the retired police officer.

DSP Idehen, 64, died mysteriously after his daughter identified as Ruth allegedly gave him food in 2016 in his home at No. 5 Odetola Street, Alagbado, Lagos, barely one year after he retired from the Police Force family members said.

The family members said that efforts to conduct an autopsy to find out the cause of his sudden demise had proved abortive as four of his eleven children with their mother took his corpse to an unknown destination and buried him.

The Chairman of Alaba International Market Association, Mr. Patrick Iwuagwu has been dethroned and chased out of the market alongside his executives by members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, who invaded the market, mounted their banners and declared the market as their territory in Lagos.

It was confirmed that the proscribed group invaded the market, moved into the union office, chased out all the executives and took over the market. Security agents on Tuesday messed up the birthday of Prophet T.B. Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, as they molested people who visited to honour him at the church headquarters in Ikotun, Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that this followed the unruly conduct of the security agents at the entrance of the church. The police were said to have manhandled people especially the journalists and the physically challenged persons, who had come to honour the man of God.

Many journalists were locked out, manhandled and prevented from entering church premises. As if that was not enough, some police officers carried long woods and used them to chase away the journalists and threatened them to leave the vicinity.

A suspected criminal, Mr. Ugochukwu Okeke, who strips himself before going for operations at night has been arrested by the police in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect was apprehended naked by the residents of Oke Afa in Isolo, Lagos, after he attempted to break into a company known as Pat-Rax Sanitary Wares at night to steal.

Seven-year old marriage between a couple, one Mr. Martins and his estranged wife, Grace, has collapsed after she was unable to bear a child for those years in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that barely two years after Grace was sent away by her husband, she is now pregnant for her lover though they were yet to get married.

The couple resided in Orile area of Lagos but after Grace was sent away she rented an apartment at Ijede area of Ikorodu, Lagos, where she eventually became pregnant for her lover.

Hundreds of cyclists have taken part in the World Naked Bike Ride in an annual protest aimed at celebrating the human body and campaigning against dependency on cars.

The cycle around London is part of a global event with others scheduled in Tokyo and Sydney.

A 25-year old lady, Miss Chizoba Ajukwu has confessed that she made an average of N300,000 every month as a sex worker but regretted that the business almost ruined her and she became violent.

She disclosed that she indulged in all sorts of strange behaviours such as taking drugs, drinking, smoking and engaging in unprotected sex in order to survive in the business.

Anambra State-born Chizoba said that despite the money she made, she did not have peace of mind as she knew that the society did not accept her lifestyle and doubted that if she will ever get married. She said that she had tried to leave the work in order to start another business but found it difficult to do so until it landed her in trouble.

A young man simply identified as Toyin was been found dead inside a swimming pool after he drank with his friends at a popular hotel in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at the popular Glory Land Hotel located at Olanipekun Drive, Pipeline bus stop at Isheri Olofin area of Lagos, where the hotel was located and the victim resided.

The parents of the victim and some youths in the area protested over the manner the victim died, took the corpse and dropped in front of the hotel asking the management to eat the corpse. A man, Mr. Ibe Akachi has suffered serious body injury after his wife, Joy Akachi, boiled half bucket of water, ensured it was very hot and poured it on her husband to settle scores with him.

A 40-year old man, Abiodun Idowu, has been arrested by officers of the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly strangling a co-worker to death in an attempt to rape her.

The suspect who worked as a driver in a pure water producing company with the deceased was arrested by police on Tuesday 29th of May, 2018.

According to the information gathered by the police, Abiodun works as a driver in a pure water producing company where the deceased, 38-year old Hamzat, also worked as an accountant. The Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said that the arrest of the suspect followed a complaint by one Owolabi Moses who reported at Onipanu Divisional headquarters that the suspect who was a driver in his pure water factory has been disturbing the deceased who was an accountant in the same factory for love affair but the deceased had refused his advances.

A 42-year old man, Mr. Abioye Olakunle, has been caught in a double game after he obtained N850,000 from a married woman, one Mrs. Kehinde Opebiye and promised to marry her but ended up duping her in Lagos.

A mother of 2 kids, Mrs. Olamide Akinbola has opened up and confessed that she actually used a kitchen knife to stab her husband, Mr. Dare, to death in their home at Igbogbo in Ikorodu area of Lagos.

A 50-year old man, Mr. Dickson Mmadubuike has been arrested for bringing a deadly shrine from Enugu State to fight the Managing Director of Ekesons Motors, Chief Eugene Ojukwu over a garage in Lagos.

A 17-year old girl identified as Bukky sold her new born baby boy for N250,000 in Lagos, for allegedly being impregnated by her father.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the baby was sold to a barren woman, Mrs. Udoju Chukwunoye, after she had arranged with the facilitator one Mrs. Regina Ibeto who claimed to be a medical doctor.

The police have started manhunt for one Pastor Promise Sylvanus, for the confusion he caused in connection with the prophecy he gave to one, Mr. Sunny Awale, in a church in Lagos; to sow seed with his Toyota Camry car.

P.M.EXPRESS scooped from police sources that 8 months after giving the prophecy that Pastor Sylvanus went back to the donor, told him that God did not ask him to sow the seed and that he should go to the church and take back his car.

The incident happened at a popular church located at Governor’s Road in Ikotun area of Lagos.

The prophecy had now caused a rift between Mr. Awale and the General Overseer of the church where Pastor Sylvanus preached as a guest pastor on a Sunday service. The suspect identified as Mr. Ben Chimaeze had offered N1m but the husband of the woman insisted that he will not collect less than N5m, because he preferred to kill Chimaeze in his house.

It was gathered that Chimaeze had been wooing his neighbour’s wife Nneoma despite the fact that he knew that she was married. He was said to have taken Nneoma out several times to pepper soup and drink joints and had given her money which she always accepted. Despite all the gifts, Nneoma had not allowed him to sleep with her not minding his pleadings.

On the day the incident happened, Nneoma was said to have demanded N100,000 and N50,000 differently and he transferred the money to her account. Mr. Chimaeze was said to have invited her to a hotel but she declined explaining that her husband was popular and if they went to any hotel, somebody who knew her husband might see them. The parents of little Miss Ramudantu Matimu, a 2-year old female child, has a lot to be thankful for as the little girl was on 22nd May, 2018, rescued from the hands of one Elizabeth Ibezim who allegedly took the child away without the consent of her mother.

The incident took place at Yam market, Mile 12, Ketu, Lagos, where the child was taken away unknown to her mother who was busy selling her wares at the popular

The desperate mother rushed to the suspect, struggled to collect the baby from her while raising the alarm which attracted a mob that nearly lynched the woman, but for the quick intervention of a police team stationed strategically near the market place to provide round the clock security. A man, Mr. Sunny Awale who gave his Toyota Camry car worth N2.5m to a church in Lagos as seed for prayers to travel abroad, has now demanded the car back eight months after claiming that the prayers did not work as promised.

The prophecy for the car to be given as seed offering was given by one Pastor Promise Sylvanus who is now at large.
According to Mr. Awale, he had planned to travel abroad for greener pasture and went to the church to seek for spiritual help. He said it was at the service that one Pastor Sylvanus who was a guest pastor gave him the prophecy that God told him that he should sow a seed with his car to the church and all his desires will be achieved.

He said he believed and gave out the car as seed to the church. He said he was assured that he would get visa to travel to USA as he had obeyed the command from God as he had applied for the visa. He said that he surrendered his car with registration number, EPE 943 EC, the documents and prepared the deed of transfer of ownership to the church. Pastor Sylvanus and the beneficial church Pastor then embarked on ‘spiritual deliverance’ to remove any hindrance that will prevent him from not getting the visa.

He said that apart from the Toyota Camry car that he gave out almost half of his money to the church without knowing what he was doing.

Mr. Awale said that he later realized that he was hypnotized to do those things, so he went to the police and reported what had happened to him. The police moved into action, arrested the owner of the church identified as Pastor Okoli and detained at the Command at Ikeja.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the police ordered Pastor Okoli to return the car to Mr. Awale as Pastor Sylvanus who gave the prophecy had confessed to Awale that the prophecy for him to sow seed with the car did not come from God.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that Okoli had already sold the car and used the money to develop the church. It was then a bit difficult how to resolve the matter. Awale has insisted on having his car back and Pastor Okoli who had sold the car seemed not to have any money to cough out for another car.

Pastor Dominic Michael of the Celestial Church of Christ has landed in trouble after he was arrested for allegedly killing his member, a 25-year old Miss Ramat Audu during a purported deliverance session inside the church in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at the Celestial Church, Jesu Segun Parish, at Santana bus stop, Ajangbadi area of Lagos where the church was located.

The police arrested the 34-year old Pastor Michael, detained him at the State Command and he is now facing a charge for murder over the death of the victim, who reportedly died in his purported attempt to heal her.

CP Edgal said that based on the development, the DPO Ilembe Hausa, CSP Musa Anim led a team of detectives to the scene, arrested Pastor Michael and the deceased’s boy friend, Mr. Enyinaya and detained them at the police station for interrogations.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the police also recovered some native sponges, perfumes and candle sticks as exhibits, the corpse was retrieved and deposited at the mortuary for autopsy report.

The police boss said that the suspects have been handed over to the homicide department at SCIID, Panti, Yaba for further investigations. The CP advised members of the public to be mindful of the way they take their relations to churches for healing, whereas such patients were supposed to be taken to the hospital for treatment as was recognised by the law.

At the Police Command, Pastor Michael narrated that the deceased was brought to him for healing. He prepared the substances, gave her to drink and he was surprised that after she drank she became unconscious and died.

The police boss said that they will be charged to court after the conclusion of investigations by the homicide department.

A Nigerian medical doctor, Dr. William Michael who turned to a professional internet hacker has revealed that he had the capacity to hack into any bank in Nigeria and withdraw N1bn within 67 minutes.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the Imo State-born Michael whose mother is from Delta State also revealed that all the banks in Nigeria do not have enough security as none of them had what he described as firewalls to prevent access to their accounts through the internet. He said it was very easy to have access into both the banks and their customers accounts and defraud them.

“It is so easy to hack into any bank account, pick alerts and send to customers from the bank data that look real but are fake” he said.

Dr. Michael said that he became a professional hacker when he became frustrated and he travelled to Canada, where he was taught how to do it within two weeks from his Israeli friend and became a master.

He said any hacker in the world is a bank to himself because such person can buy anything he wants through his credit card, send fake alerts and will not need to have any account in any bank.
He further revealed that there were many applications which can be used and when a hacker mastered them, that money will no longer be a problem to such person.

Dr. Michael confessed that he had hacked into many accounts, withdrawn millions of Naira and had the system that sent fake credit alerts to accounts without the banks detecting it. He therefore advised the banks in Nigeria to work and improve their security systems as what they have presently were really porous and substandard in the world.

The hacker said that he was a qualified medical doctor and had worked in Eko and Tolu Hospitals before he travelled abroad. He said he had carried out wide research works on how to perform C/S operations with ease and presented the results to the hospital management. Dr. Michael said that the management sacked him, stole his ideas and started applying them on their patients, so he left and travelled abroad.

The suspect was paraded before journalists by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr Imohimi Edgal at the State Command.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the police boss recognised the suspect’s intelligence and said that detailed investigations needed to be carried out on his activities. The CP said that the banks in Nigerian should show interest to know what has been going on about the internet banking fraud.

CP Edgal said that the suspect who was brought to the Command with his face covered was still undergoing interrogations and will not allow his face to be shown for now for security reasons.

On how Dr. Michael was arrested, the CP said that the police received a complaint that there existed a syndicate that went go to shops, bought cars, configured a computer programme that would send fake payment alerts to the sellers and by so doing obtained the cars under false pretence.

He said a car dealer, one Mr. Abidogun Adewale was defrauded by Dr. Williams when he bought a Porsche car for N28m and paid him with fake alert to his phone using http tunnel.com
The victim released the car after receiving the alert, went to the bank and discovered that the alert was fake.

Edgal said he directed the FSARS to fish him, he was arrested eventually and confessed that he committed the offence. He also led the police detectives to Delta State where the Porsche car was recovered and two other vehicles were recovered in Owerri, Imo State.

CP said that the suspect had a good mastery of the cyber environment and can use credit cards through cyber ghost 12. He said that when the credit cards mature, they were then funded through a hacked Swiss account. He explained that any transaction anyone was doing through the Swiss account, the suspect will manipulate such wire through contrived credit card. He said it was possible with the aid of cyber ghost and other applications.

A social critic and human right activist, Adetayo Adegbero has called the attention of the Federal Government, Civil Society Organisations and Labour Unions and well meaning Nigerians to the ill treatment meted upon Nigerians working for CIG Motors and how Ms Diana Chen of CIG Motors has allegedly been running a labour camp.

According to Mr. Adetayo, when the story of how the Chinese employers were maltreating their Nigerian staff and how Ms Diana Chen was alleged to be running a labour camp came to their notice, he said they took interest in the story. They reached out to a source inside the organization and said that what they discovered was staggering.

“What is happening in CIG Motors is nothing but modern day slavery. It has
been revealed on good authority that 85 percent of Nigerians working under CIG Motors Company are under perpetual slavery in their own land. CIG Motors – a Chinese company maltreats Nigerians and puts them under harsh working conditions which do not conformed to the rules and laid down procedures of the Nigerian labour law act. There are other gory details of serious abuse of human rights going on in that company which is against the Nigerian labour law” Mr. Adetayo said.

He further said that another discovery was the fact that Ms Diana Chen of CIG Motors had been using underhand tactics to edge out Nigerian businesses who were also interested in the importation and distribution of the Chinese car brand called GAC; an act that can be referred to as purely economic sabotage.

According to report, there was an ongoing lawsuit at the Industrial Court against the company. Investigations conducted by our correspondent revealed that that Nigerian staff were working under harsh and severe conditions. Workers were tortured with marks on their bodies. Chains were used on both legs and arms with body wounds all over them.

The social critic, Mr. Adetayo in his submission said that the Nigerian staff working with CIG Motors were just enslaved and beaten like animals. Ms Diana Chan – an Executive Director, whose company was situated at No. 7a Ligali Ayorinde Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, runs the firm where Nigerians were made to undergo serious punishments and inhuman treatment by the Chinese.

The Human rights advocate therefore appeals to the Federal Government, Civil Society Organisations, Labour Unions and concerned Nigerians to rise against this injustice by a Chinese which cannot be tolerated in their country.

He therefore makes the following demands:

That all staff under the employment of Ms Diana Chen should be given a full letter of employment with full benefits.
All forms of monopolies being claimed by Ms Chen should be terminated immediately.
Immediate audit of all Chinese employees under the CIG Motors employment, their visa status and their educational background
All Nigerian employees under CIG motors should be allowed to join any labour organization of their choice.



When P.M.EXPRESS visited the CIG office, our correspondent was harassed and intimidated. The gate to the company was manned by fierce looking security personnel. They did not want to attend to anyone or grant any journalist entrance into the premises despite telling them that the mission was to see the Head of the Human Resources Department to get clarification on the allegations.



An eye witness account also told our correspondent that the Chinese company was using Nigerians as slaves in their own land. He said that the Nigerian authorities must look into the inhuman treatment meted out to citizens in their own country by foreigners.

A 7-year old girl may not forget her experience in a hurry after she went to her parents bedroom, met her father naked on top of her mother and the father lied to her that he was beating the mother.

The incident happened at Abaranje Road by Church bus stop, Ikotun area of Lagos where the family resided.

P.M.EXPRESS scooped that the incident traumatised the little girl and she was scared every other night as she will wake up in the middle of the night to check if her father had commenced beating her mother which had become an issue between the husband and wife.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered from the couple simply identified as Mr. and Mrs. Dan (surname withheld), that they lived in one room and parlour apartment after their marriage and had three children. Mr. Dan explained that their children usually slept in the living room while he used to retire to their bedroom with his wife where they kept their water and other household items.

He said on that particular day, that the children had gone to sleep and he retired to their matrimonial bed with his wife. He narrated that they were discussing before deciding to make love that night and then sleep. He said that at night they usually put on the light and leave the link door between the rooms slightly open because of the children. Mr. Dan said that their little girl woke up in the night, walked into the bedroom to demand water from the mother and met them in that situation. She cried upon seeing them and he had to tell her that he was beating her mother. He had to lie to her that her mother did something wrong and that was why he had to beat her.

However, the lie by Mr. Dan to the little girl sank deep into her, she then believed that her father usually beat the mother while naked at night and she was scared every night unless she was with them in the bedroom. The little girl was said to have spread the whole thing to her mates, neighbours and the teachers in her school who alerted her parents about what the girl was saying.

P.M.EXPRESS scooped that the whole thing had caused serious problems between the couple who had lived peacefully before the incident and it had resulted to constant quarrels and fighting in the house.

Mr. Dan said that the incident completely changed his wife’s attitude toward him and the daughter to the extent that the wife had developed hatred for the girl and subjected her to constant beating her in the house. The husband has not dared to demand sex from her because according to the man, his wife told him that she no longer had any feelings because of the trauma of being caught making love by her daughter.

This came to the open after the couple had fought publicly and it was reported to the family members who visited them to resolve the matter. The members of the ‘peace committee’ reportedly blamed the couple for not taking the necessary cautions in the house, by giving such chance for their daughter to meet them making love.

They were advised to relocate to another area because the wife had complained that their daughter had spread the ‘naked’ beating by her husband in their area and she was no longer comfortable living within the compound and the area where the incident took place.

A 45-year old woman, Mrs. Charity Iyonetu who tortured his brother’s 8-year old boy, Chinonye at a place called Animal Kingdom, insisted that the victim was a wizard and she did so to cast the spell from him.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at a community called Animal Kingdom close to Seme boarder in Lagos State where she resided with the victim.

She revealed that since she brought him from their village to Lagos, he had strange behaviours similar to acts by witches and wizards and so she decided to use horsewhip to cast the devil out of him.

However, the action has landed her in trouble after their neighbours who knew about the torture informed the police; she was then arrested and detained at the Police Command for inhuman treatment.

Mrs. Iyonetu was among the suspected criminals paraded by the Commissioner of Police, Mr Imohimi Edgal at the State Command. The police boss said that the case of inhumanity was reported against the suspect on 9th May, 2018, when she used a whip a.k.a koboko to flog and inflict injuries on the boy. She tied his two hands, locked him inside her room apartment and went to her shop.
He said that the boy was in that situation crying and shouting for help for several hours which made one of their neighbours, Mr. Peter Aluku to alert the police.

CP Edgal said that when the police team arrived, they had to break the door and rescue the victim who was in pain and his body stained with blood.
The police then rushed the victim to an undisclosed hospital, arrested the suspect and detained at the cell.
Edgal explained that during investigations, it was discovered that the suspect went to their village at Agbaii in Nkota town of the Imo State and brought him to Lagos after the victim’s mother abandoned him and left to an unknown place.

The CP said that the suspect will be charged to court after the conclusion of investigations. The suspect confirmed what the CP explained and admitted that she actually whipped and inflicted injuries on the victim’s body to cast the demon out from him. She said that she never knew that she was committing an offence and had thought she was training him until she was arrested by the police.

Spirit – a 20-year old Ahmed Adewole, notorious armed robber and ex-convict, who just returned from prison on the 11th of April, 2018, was paraded by the Lagos State Police Command for another robbery.

According to the report, ‘Spirit’ had been on the wanted list of the Police before and after he came out of prison.

Speaking to P.M.EXPRESS, Spirit admitted being a bandit who specialised in robbing people at gun point.
“I am an armed robber; I used to rob people of their money and phones with a locally made pistol. I was first arrested in Mushin by police patrol who raided the area and i was in prison for 6 months. I came out last month April 11th to be precise” he said.

He further confessed to have been introduced back into robbery by a friend named Rashidi Garuba. According to him,”I was introduced back into robbery by Rashidi my friend because,I didn’t have any other work I was doing. I am not the owner of the gun that we used for operation; it belonged to Rashidi and his brother Ayegboun. After operations, I used to return the gun to Rashidi and will give him money. I used to get N15,000,sometimes about N20,000 but the last operation, I robbed a passerby at Abule-egba and collected N27,000 and his phones from him”.

He further explained that he virtually got nothing from his criminal activities since he gave more than seventy percent of whatever he realised to the two brothers who owned the gun he used.
The suspect, a.k.a Spirit, hinted that his friends called him spirit because of the fast and neat way he carried out his robbery operations.

According to the Commissioner of Police Lagos State, CP Edgal Imohimi, the suspect was arrested at a guest house at Abattoir area in Agege alongside others.He said that the suspect will be charged to court as soon as investigations into the case were over.
