I didn't carry out the indexing with my set as I postponed my admission for 2 years and the Indexing for my set was carried out while I was away. I also hear it is now being done online. So you think science laboratory technology will be created to function as medical laboratory science?


I know there's joblessness in the country
But I am wondering how someone will go to school for 4yrs and curriculum don't have clinical laboratory training but after school
The person wants to work in a clinical laboratory to test patient samples for disease when their training didn't involve testing human samples for medical diagnostic purposes

A profession has it names spelt out as science laboratory technology
And we all know what is science laboratory
And medical laboratory or Biomedical lab
Please remember a medical laboratory scientist is not just a tester, he is a medical practitioner who is a specialist in Biomedical Sciences with special license to work as a medical diagnostician

But a science lab tech is a professional who training is technically based to improve science laboratory research and processes

And please note
Medical science is not the same as the science you saw in science laboratory technology

It is physical science involving physics, chemistry and biology

Medical science means human science
Please you know how
You are trained, in a science department

A medical laboratory scientist is trained in medical school

Please let's stop this unnecessary issues
The samples you saw in health science don't means human samples
It's food, water etc
Not human samples

Only medical professionals are allowed to work with human samples


I am begging us
Let's develop our country
Stop quackery

Build our individual professions to represent it purpose not admiring another to let our gullibility encourage quackery

It's one of the reasons Nigeria is backward

I have a bad tooth that I'm determined not to pull out even on the pain of death.

How do I managed the tooth? Simple, I just eat raw garlic close to the tooth or on the tooth itself and the pain fades away eventually within 48hrs (It might even be 12 hours but I don't actually record it). At some point, it hits me that I no longer feel any pain there.

Why does it work? Toothache is causes by pathogens and garlic has been found to be a natural antibiotic. So, next time, rather than remove that tooth in case you've already removed like half, it might be wise using garlic!

And did I tell you it's dirt cheap?

Please my only advice is that grade don't matters when it comes to university nowadays.. You might graduate with first class and still got no job.. Some first class students always believed that their grade will help them get automatic job from the university which is not true.. Abeg, continue with your radiography and learn how to ne diligent so you learn the techniques well. Got a friend doing well from it and highly respected. Consultants Doctors always want him to work with them. If he is. Ot on duty, they wait till he resumes and rush him. His colleaques hate him but who dem epp? So you need to be good not just having the degree

These days they've just reduced a PhD to mean less. I remember the days of my father when you had to school and school and read to have a master's degree, PhD meant you were a very notable academic.

But whats its worth today? Even Patience Jonathan has a PhD.

we pay 402,300 at Anambra state university for medicine while the rest of the students don't pay up to 200 thousand. I have been wondering why I will pay such amount and they still have the mind to keep me at home. it's just too painful. even with the 402,300 we still have problem with cadavas. faculty looking so unkempt.
