Is Mathematics a branch of accountancy or a branch of Engineering?

In order to be a pharmacist one has to study pharmacology
In order to become a pharmacologist there is no requirement to study pharmacy so which one is a branch of the other?

What i mean is Pharmacology is a branch of Pharmacy that became independent.
Just the way Dentistry was a Branch of Medicine that Became independent.
There was Nothing like Pharmacology as an independent course..it was studied Under Medicine/Pharmacy until it became Unique and stood on its Own.

Nurses
Vet doctors
Pharmacists among others

It is NOT a branch of Pharmacy

No more than biology is a branch of medicine or
physics a branch of engineering

No one would say mathematics is a branch of accounting

It's a Science in its Right now doesn't Stop the Fact it is a Branch of Pharmacy.
Drug Dynamics and kinetics is very important that all Medical Professionals ought to be Aware of.

Its still the study of Drug....,its Formulation, Compounding, Dispensing,Sales,Advice to Patients and other Professionals on Drug use etal and its Regulation and Registration.

The Educational system in Nigeria needs restructuring and overhauling. Especially that of tertiary institutions, there are many courses that are of less or next to zero productivity in Nigeria.
Please for the younger ones don't make mistakes we made. For in Nigeria if it's not Medical professional courses. E.g Medicine, pharmacy and co. Please don't study, Allied or Basic medical Courses na scam for Naija.

Which courses are Allied and which courses are Basic Medical Science Courses

Pharmacy and Pharmacology are not the same. They are only Related.
Pharmacology is a Branch of Pharmacy. You study Pharmacology From 2-5/6 in Pharmacy School. While Pharmacology as an Undergraduate course is a 4Years course.
Pharmacology is a Department Under Faculty of Pharmacy.
B.pharm/Pharm.D is on a Higher Level than BSc. In Pharmacology.

Naaaa...You can't Compare Chemist to a Standard Pharmacy.
You just Can't..Pharmacy is not all about Drug, they sell other Medicated Cosmetics and other Pharmaco Related Products. They Give Professional Advice etal.

They are not Same.. Pharmacy and Pharmacology are Different.
Pharmacology is a Branch in Pharmacy.
That Means,a Pharmacist is also Grounded in Pharmacology with Solid Knowledge in pharmaceutical chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Microbiology/Biochemistry,Clinical Pharmacy, Dispensing, Pharmaceutical Technology etal....

Any body Fit open Pharmacy..but the Running and Operation of the Pharmacy is under a Pharmacist Licence.

Pharmacology is one of the branches of Pharmacy.
Pharmacology deals with Drug Dynamics and Kinetics.
While Pharmacy is Much more than that..deals with Drug Formulation, Dispensing etal.
Pharmacy is a Professional Course/Degree(B.Pharm or Pharm.D) while Pharmacology is Just a Normal BSc. Degree.
A Pharmacist can also be a Pharmacologist by virtue of Postgraduate Studies but a Pharmacologist is not a Pharmacist.
Both are not Equivalent.
Pharmacy is Much Higher than Pharmacology.

Guy Human Kinetics and Health Education is better. Just specialize in Health Education. Health Educators are Hot cake in WHO,UNESCO and other Health Organization because they Deal more on preventive Medicine than curative. They Know how to pass information to their Audience more than other Professionals.

The way a Medical Professional that claims he knows heaven and Earth could not tell the difference between core Medical professionals and Paramedicals seems to elude me.

For those who may wish to know.A Medical doctor is someone who has spent ,in the case of nigeria,six Non-semester structured years which is equivalent to 292 week's cummulatively.
He/she did indepth basic medical course vis-a-vis Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry) just like other paramedicals.Within this period of 292 weeks ,He/she also underwent comprehensive training in Laboratory medicine(Chemical pathology,haematology, medical microbiology and histopathology),the medical lab technology/science is mainly the TECHNICAL part of Lab medicine.The doctor went further to do Pharmacology,which is a part of pharmacy.Pharmacists does this too plus other aspect of Pharmacy.
The doctor also did Ophthalmology, optometry is mainly the TECHNICAL part of ophthalmology.He/she did Radiology, Radiography is the TECHNICAL part of Radiology,the doctor did Orthopedics, Physiotherapy is the TECHNICAL part of Orthopedics.In addition to doing what paramedics do,the doctor did paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology,surgery and medicine(in their totality,not just knowing definition of topics in these courses).Via practical knowledge,the doctor has indepth knowledge of wound dressing, giving injections (in tertiary institutions, doctors are the only ones allowed to give Intravenous injections), he/she conduct deliveries especially when it is out of the competency of nurses(midwives).
While in Medical school, correction factor is used for scoring doctors,what that means is that if a medic (a doctor-to-be) scores 65 % in exam, applying correction factor will bring the score down to 50%(this is the standard,so as to help prune down the number of those that passed).A pass mark for a medical student in the university is 50%(others is 40%). Medicine is not rated like others where they have first class, second class or third class,it is either pass or fail and withdraw for Medicine (Remember 50% using correction factor which is equivalent to 60% and above in the real sense is the pass mark for Medicine).
It should be noted that it takes a 5-semester structured years which is about 165weeks to do either Med lab science,Bsc nursing, Pharmacy etc but 6-NON semester structured years for medicine which is equivalent to 292 weeks.The above shows that the 3-4months break period in a year in the university is not applicable in medicine,any body who went through medical school and still has his/her conscience knows this simple truth. To obtain a PhD,it takes 272weeks from the first day into the university..
Medicine is the only course in the university that paramedicals degrees e.g B.med lab,Bsc nursing,Bsc Physiotherapy, degree in optometry etc is used as a prerequisite for admission.In countries like US,one must obtain a degree in paramedicals to be qualified to study medicine.

THIS IS WHY THE DOCTOR IS IN CHARGE OF MEDICAL TEAM,NOT ONLY IN NIGERIA.
THIS IS WHY THERE IS 'RELATIVITY' IN RENUMERATION OF DOCTORS AGAINST OTHERS ANY WHERE IN THE WORLD.
