That's delusional too, If you ever believe starboy or anyone could make that happen within a term or two. Will they perform magic?? Only God fit run am
That's delusional, even in advanced nation, gas and petrol ain't cheap. What should be raised is the purchasing power of the people so they can reasonably afford it. On the other hand, we may get to #50 or a bit below if the foreign exchange rate significantly improve but petrol will not still be that cheap as you presume.
Governance should be about results and not noise-making. When did all these projects even takeoff and today, they are being commissioned. Truly, this man has got a vision.
RandDigital: You people haven't been paying attention, it's the Chidimma saga that finally opened your eyes. Nigerians have for decades had a horrible reputation in SA for drugs and fraud, so the thought of Nigerians having even easier access to SA is infuriating for South Africans - hence something like this really does have the potential to weaken Ramaphosa. Ask Malema who performed woefully in the May elections because of his defensive stance for Nigerians and immigration. Today his party is imploding as a result 😂😂😂. Anything Nigerian is the kiss of death in SA politics.
Those in Nigeria pretending their brothers aren't into drugs and yahoo big time are either living in lalaland or crime sympathizers. Full stop.
It's irresponsible and pathetic to demonize a whole country because of the actions of a few. It's foolishness to throw away the baby along with the bath water. Nonetheless, it's what it is. i guess that's what many years of racial segregation, suffering and discrimination under apartheid have done to the psyche of the South African populace. Your post reeks of insecurities
This woman is a fraud. Nigeria ain't a zoo when she was siphoning the state fund through an NGO and seeking a senatorial seat in her state. Madam is just awoke.... Who listens to her anyway
Newlymarried: Former Governor of Anambra State and Presidential candidate of Labour Party in the 2023 general election, Peter Obi, says he is in support of Nigerian nurses relocating abroad for greener pastures.
Obi stated this over the weekend while making a donation of N50million donation to Peter University in Achina/Onneh and N10million to School of Nursing Sciences, Adazi-Nnukwu, yesterday.
Addressing students of the College of Nursing Sciences in Adazi-Nnukwu, Obi said;
Don't fall for it. The Tinubu regime is desperately trying hard to look a bit good in the eyes of the world. Why wait till the public outcry before you do the needful?? The government is playing games with the public sentiment..... i'm certain helinuses and a dumb moniker called thiefobi1 are def singing the praises of their master by now
MemphitzDgreat1: But when this same man was cussing a sitting President back then, calling him a clueless drunk of a fisherman......it wasn't treason, right??😏 Na why I HATE this APC as an organization. Its hypocrisy stinks!
That too was treasonable Two wrongs doesn't make it right
God bless our messiah, I wonder how anyone will look at a man who volunteered himself as a crusader ready to die for a better Nigeria and say they do not love him.
But,
How come he can challenge pastors for exploiting Nigerians but has never challenged Bello Turji or the many terrorists in the North for actually killing Nigerians?
Why is our messiah eager to get to the root of people's personal lives but is not bothered as to why the cost of Petrol is more expensive than it was when it was imported?
How come he can call out Obi Cubana for keeping shut during the EndSARS, not empowering the youths or speaking up for Nnamdi Kanu yet fraternizes with the ChiefPriest with ties in government and whose CV is even more exact.
Our messiah is willing to step on toes to find out who Bobrisky's godfather is, but has never worried himself about who the sponsors of Boko Haram are.
Our messiah took on a lawmaker who slapped a belligerent delivery man who refused to do his job but is a protegé to someone who slapped an armed policeman for doing his job.
Why does our messiah have sleepless nights over bleaching creams with no NAFDAC number but is indifferent about an $11 billion Lagos-Calabar super highway awarded with neither an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment in place nor a public tender.
Somebody should also remind our messiah that Sikiratu's uncle who lost his right arm and entire village to Boko Haram is not bothered about whose sperm impregnated Mohbad's wife.
Since he does not know what being a messiah is, he should stop distracting Nigerians with his selective controversial battles which appear to be more aimed at social media popularity plus its' resultant pecuniary implications and have not improved the lives of the average Nigerian who have fooled themselves to believe he is the one to help them fight for a better society.
So, is this truly our messiah or is NwaAmaikpe just stupid? Because while he has never called himself one; he personifies that butterfly Ola Rotimi talked about, which thinks itself a bird.
One of the reasons why the SE is the way it is today is because a chunk of the people live in bitterness and pain of the past Holding onto grudges limit a person's potential but forgiveness makes future possible
LadyExcellency: The report is a fabrication of some sort for the NGOs and the ministries to receive subvention of some kind. I know Abia State at the tip of my finger and can comfortably ascertain the availability of private boreholes which cost so little or moderately to dig.
The report isn't disputing the availability of private boreholes as highlighted by your mention rather most subsurface or surface water in Abia has been contaminated by faeces. Now, that's not an attack on Abians but a call to action from every stakeholders in the state A lot of you guys, your psyches have been wired to infer any matter that arises from your region as a direct attack on your person.
deewhydoski: You don't apply, you gatecrash. On the day of coordination which 12th of this month, just go to the venue and locate your desire subject to mark. If you are lucky they might give you 1 parcel to mark
Gistmedia10: Nigeria's President, Bola Tinubu, has returned to the country after a high-profile trip to Qatar. The president's trip sparked curiosity and speculation as it came amidst rising tensions in the region and crucial discussions on international partnerships.
Sources within the presidency suggest that Tinubu's visit to Qatar revolved around bolstering economic ties between Nigeria and the wealthy Middle Eastern nation. Qatar, known for its significant investments in various sectors worldwide, could potentially be a key partner in Nigeria's quest for economic diversification.
Omezif: Some people don't have sense at all. why emulating white men and women in all thing? why emulating evil? since you can't kill somebody because other are doing it why do you want want to practice gay, same sex marriage etc because some white people that lack fear of God in them are doing?
You are wrong There is no emulating anyone here, homosexuality has been with human right from time. Remember God destroy cities because of that shit I'd say it's a pyschological thing, homosexuals are suffering from low self esteem/worth
Flynnthekidd: I also have an interest in this coding of a thing but to dey learn more than one languages at once na die. So as a more experienced Programmer, which Language will you recommend to learn as a beginner that covers all or some aspect of Coding/programming(web development, mobile app development etc)
Python is your best bet, it's got extensive libraries and frameworks you can play with for your needs
Sheriman: Love your views on this. It was great. Am still a beginner learning Kotlin basics. I think I find it interesting and challenging though sometimes I got fed up and tired but nothing good comes easy especially if you really want to take this career to the next level. It is not easy to be a professional programmer.. it involves a lot of resources. I'm going to stay glue with Kotlin alone It is of no important learning all language I rather stick with one and be the best programmer at it. That's is my philosophy. God bless all the programmers
Eriggs: These are the good and positive minded members of Nairaland. This will be the first time in a long time that the first ten posts of a thread reeks of positivity with no hater or frustrated person coming with any negative vibes. How I wish all members are like you all. Up Nairaland
It's disaster for everyone to think alike, dissent is very important in all spheres of life Thinking positivity alone doesn't translate to having positivity An opposing voice is nonetheless, it pushes us to better versions of ourselves
