Sweden already have a charge on the go system. The road is electrified for charging moving vehicles and the owner is auto debited for the charging. There are other systems being researched all round the world. How they will auto charge a flying vehicle in the air is what I don't know yet. But I trust scientist & technologist to come up with answers.

Electrifying roads is never going to be accepted by all as it poses more dangers than than any problem it's built to solve. The only way I feel moving vehicles could be charged apart from solar is by piezoelectricity! The tyres have to be made with a material that produces electricity as they move.

In the case of a self charging flying car, a 'hidden' rotor could be used to produce the charge, more of a small turbine system.

These are just some of my ideas, anyway.

1. Its bigger than li-po.. that's the reason most smart phone contains polymer battery
2. Slower in charging too... the same reason smartphone use lipo and your 5000mah can be full in just 1hr 15min. talking bout correct devices, not itel and co.

Absolutely right. My take is focus has to be shifted from lithium batteries and research should be on other sources or materials that would have all the advantages you listed and be best not just for flying cars, but electric cars generally.

Also, we should think about having self charging vehicles: charging on-the-go with solar which would reduce our dependence on chargers and storage.

Just go with the identification cards you have and explain to them about the utility bill. They'll understand.

It's not more of charging faster, but charge density. A better battery should hold more charge and degrade slower.

Not just battery development but also the overall design of the car of the future. No flying car should look like a drone or a small seaplane on land. A flying car should look like a car on land, and could change shape in flight.

I'm not surprised that a political leader in the SE would go against it. The whole Biafra agitation has a wrong footing: any secession struggle that doesn't involve the political leaders of the affected region is not going to work.

Many of the Yoruba governors have a soft spot for the Oduduwa nation, that's why you don't see the military killing and maiming people.

Let the Igbos first get the people who believe in the Biafran dream into power, then they can proceed with concerted will and power to actualize it. No vagabond anywhere can make anything happen for them, it'll only lead to loss of lives and properties in the region.
