This days if you want to buy fuel on gerican or gallon they will charge you 50 Naira for what,Nigeria and their corruption as normal life every corner.

Some years back I also had this issue.

They sold to cars and kept us waiting and started jacking peeps for 50naira per keg.

Allow the "big men" use the other available pumps, making it look like an exclusive fast track service for these "big men".

How do I know when they didn’t reset it?

You look at the pump. They reset it to 0 naira 0 liters. When you buy 10litres it shows 1625.

If another person comes to buy say 20 litres they just continue to run it from there to 20 liters . So what that person gets is 10 liters and they pocket the difference.

What happened was the guy probably sold like 3 or 4k before you came and didnt reset the pump and pumped to 5k.

It's a normal runs but we all know and let them know before they start pumping.
