Have the Tarantinos come for you yet? Lol.

If you are expecting some long chain of action, Tarantino wont give you that. Instead he will give you word plays and " words" entertainment. He always leaves you with lines you cant forget in a hurry

When i saw inglourpus Besterds. I alway remember the scene where he demands for His Nazi scalps . It goes thus... "...When you join my command, you take on debit. A debit you owe me personally. Each and every man under my command owes me one hundred Nazi scalps. And I want my scalps. And all y’all will git me one hundred Nazi scalps, taken from the heads of one hundred dead Nazis. Or you will die tryin’."

Pulp Fiction : the Foot massage covo between vincent and the other hitman(John Travolta). The " say what, motherfucker " speech. I double dare you to say what.. lol.

The hateful eight: John the hangman talking to Daisy Demergue after he aaked for a guitar to play while in cuffs . "
Yeah. You come back with anything else but a guitar, my pistol plays a tune; Domergue's Death March. You got it?".

His movies does so well to entertain
Hateful eight when they were arguing who killed Russel Crowe...

" my guess is the ugliest fellow killed him and that make it you Joe gates" that scene was insane.

Between the sheriff and samuel jackson when jackson gives him a gun

Sheriff " you finally believe I am the sheriff of the town"

Samuel jackson " I dont know about that but you were about to drink the coffee that killed him so you're innocent " or something like that.

You're right the conversation is the trips

What is pulp fiction about? I didn't understand it
The soul of Marcellus Wallace..... grin grin grin.

It's the story about different characters and their interactions with one another. everybody had his problems and each was even more messed up than the other.

I can explain it more than this but it was an awesome experience.

You need to understand that each actor was important in the movie no main guy per se just follow their stories.

Auxtan:
Ever since I entered the university and now in my 400L currently doing my 6 months I.T in preparation for my final year (500L) I haven't gone through my qualifications intently until this morning.

Here is a problem I discovered, I made my way to the university with a 2 sittings 2014 O'level certificates in WAEC and NECO because I made a D7 in English in WAEC which is a compulsory credit subject required for admission I had to use my NECO result where I made C5 in English to back it up for a 2 sittings result though I recall they ended up using only my NECO for the O'level certificate screening that time.

Now I am concerned if this might be a problem when I graduate and decide applying for a top job. My CGPA currently is quite impressive but right now I am afraid my O'level might not be good enough due to the D7 I made in English in WAEC.

Please I need good words of advice from the experienced ones amongst us here.
Thank you
At bsc level I dont think anyone looks at o level certificates

Education › Re: Why Do Some Nigerians Think Being A Male Nursing Student Is An Abomination???!!! by armadeo(m): 6:01pm On May 17, 2021
JBRichard:
I am a student studying nursing in Nigeria. I got a lot of recommendations and commendations when I settled down for this course. I was bred up to be a Medicine and Surgery student. I was advised to choose this because it's professional and not lengthier and can end up with a good job abroad or even here by God's grace. Plus as it stands now, I don't want to waste so much time in school in order to settle down and get a good job and do something for myself.

But when people hear of my course the somehow fumble. I get belittled. I am a guy.... Is there something wrong with studying this or should I change??
I wanted to study Biochem but I was chastised against it huh

Because I'm starting to wonder why I don't see male nurseshuh..... I met one man and he eyed me from top to bottom. Another individual said I don't know what I want to become.
Another shouted ABOMINATION!!!!! grin
I've already gained admission oooo....
I'm bewildered....
Haven't seen male nurses in Naija before....
Chineke!!!
Guy as you are running this nursing courses better be looking for opportunities abroad which are plenty. Do the right exams and courses finish up and discharge.

You'll be far better of than everyone who laughed at you. A male nurse has many advantages in the work place. They can hustle better than the females and get side jobs more.

Guy I dey laugh.

ivandragon:
I keep saying it...

The present dubious deregulation practiced by this supremely deceptive administration is designed to subsidise the North.

True deregulation means prices will vary according to what the dealer pays to get the roduct to his/her fueling station.

PMS can be as low as #90-#110 in places like Lagos, Ibadan. With adequate port & deport facilities, places like Rivers, Delta can get it below #150.

However, the further inland one goes, the more expensive it becomes. Places like Abuja, Kaduna might get it for #210-#230 while places like Borno, Sokoto would purchase at between #300-#400, about the same price Adeshina & other loudmouthed charlatans say it's sold in other countries around Nigeria.

Deregulation is fully supported, but it should be done properly.
Honestly. It has always baffled me how fuel costs the same everywhere in nigeria. You have made me see the light. Its solely for the benefit of the north

The funny thing is, he was trying to play the religious card. Jesus is against such an act but you never cared and now you re bringing Jesus in the picture . Just take responsibility for your actions. Most persons here use the veil of religion in doing terrible things .
Hr wasnt playing the religious card. He went completely primal and instincts dictated he cry to the most high to save him from the hell he is about to experience.

Hmmm, I just finished it and honestly it's not bad.
But I agree that volume 1 is better, why?
In volume 1, most of the tales had no reference point , it blew our mind because we probably hadn't visualize the scenarios before.

Now in this volume 2, i think the writers sampled scenarios from some other sci-fi movies, i'm seeing traits of Altered carbon, Star wars, Black mirror, mad max, in the tall grass etc

P.S : all the tales in volume 2 had happy endings
What happened to the death and gore we were accustomed to, from volume 1?
I totally agree. No blood letting no gore.

Ishilove:
It reminds me of my service year. That year was the most miserable year of my short life as, like you I'm an introvert and I couldn't relate with the locals as they were housewives and cocoa farmers who barely spoke English. Other corp members were a bit of a distance from the village where I resided so I was always alone, battling goats and talking aloud to myself. In that village I realized why goats are called 'stubborn', was toasted by almost every walking male, and of course, for the first time discovered it would be very easy to have multiple boyfriends. I however did not choose that kind of dirty life so I endured intense loneliness.

You have to change your environment because you will be miserable. Don't bother looking for who you can relate with, just change your environment. Change it!!! I speak from experience. Change it!!! I cannot speak English too much. CHANGE IT!!!!!!!!
Lol. That toaster with massive teeth I think. Lol. I remember your chronicles.
