Do you know what scares me most about the Nigerian mindset? That there are tens of millions of people who think like this. And here's the worst part, based of probability, someone like him will probably have political ambitions in the future and depending on how corrupt he is, will probably be elected into some sort of office. I beg, please tell me, what kind of leadership/governance do you think he would be able to give? And he had more than 80 likes for that rubbish post. 80 people actually agreed with him. Smh. The funny thing is, Nigerians are confused as to why the country is so messed up. They love to blame everyone for their woes but don't realize that the main problem is their mentality. I used to contribute on NL to try to effect a change. Now i just do it to make fun of them. There is no way one can change people with a mentality this phucked up.

I remember a radio program were a caller complained of deductions from his salary for coming late to work claiming his house was far and the presenter asked him to wake up early and he had the galls to say it's too early to wake up.

I think people here should start identifying the genres that they are interested in so as to reduce these misplaced damming assessments that they give to movies. If your interest lies in action, then focus on action movies, if it's in romance, comedy, psychology, drama, horror, supernatural, mystery, crime, adventure, Sci-fi, martial arts, sword and sandals, etc then identify with those movies instead of criticizing a movie simply because it doesn't interest you.


You should be able to know the various genres that interests you so that you can pick and watch movies with those particular genres. Now I'm not saying that some movies which are universally shiit doesn't deserve criticism(of course they do) but when a movie like say for example, deadpool, which is loved by the majority doesn't suit your taste then it's not in your area of choice.

Agreed. Movies like room, me before you Etc I never commented I them cos I won't enjoy it. I just don't do drama except on very rare occasions. Am strictly sci-fi, fantasy, comedy or action movies. I dabble occasionally into horror and thrillers. That's it.

The others can rest even if given a10/10 rating except its a mind bender i wont see it.
