Lets play DK's favorite game, shall we?

Depilot:
Name:?
Hameed Sangodele From Iragbiji, our ancestral hometown grin
Tinubu is not a citizen of Oyo State. If you don’t know, Hameed Sangodele, also known as Bola Tinubu, is not a native of Oyo State and as such cannot direct the political affairs of Oyo. I think he has the right to do whatever he likes in Osun because I believe he is from Osun. He can also do that in Ekiti because I learnt he has some relatives too in Ekiti. But, here in Oyo, we don’t know him and he has no political structure here.

http://www.nigerianbestforum.com/blog/?p=69141

His mother
However, as far as we know, the two children of Alhaja Mogaji known to Mama are Rafatu Biodun and Sakirat Modupe. Certainly, Bola Ahmed is not one of the children of Alhaja Mogaji known to Mama. Therefore, we are unable to reconcile his account with the facts at our disposal.

http://tribune.com.ng/index.php/news/23558-tinubu-writes-hid

Primary School:?
When Bola Tinubu was to contest the 1998 gubernatorial election, he had claimed in the INEC Form CF001 that he attended St. Paul’s Primary School, Aroloya, Lagos. But the truth is that there is no primary school with such name in that area. There is a St. John’s Primary School on that street but certainly not St. Paul’s Primary School. There is none and there has never been any. But Tinubu attended St. Paul’s Primary School, Aroloya, for his primary education, if you get what I mean.

http://www.tribune.com.ng/sun/borderless/4102-asiwaju-of-yorubaland-not-for-felons

High School:?
He also filled in that form that he attended Government College, Ibadan, for his secondary education, stating he was admitted into the school in 1965. But Tinubu’s name is missing on the list of the 475 students on enrolment in that school in 1965. In 1965, 78 students were admitted into the three arms of Form One but Bola Ahmed Tinubu is conspicuously missing on the list. Yet, according to him, he was in the school for four years.

http://www.tribune.com.ng/sun/borderless/4102-asiwaju-of-yorubaland-not-for-felons

PS: SOyinka attended GCI and Bola Ige too for a while, not surprising that BAT wants to feel among, just like how Mr. Ekiti of NL loves to make himself relevant. grin Sup Ekt Bear, wassapennin'

College:?
The University of Chicago also debunked his claim of having been a student of the institution. Maxine Sullivan, the university registrar in 1999, had said, in a reply to an e-mail about Tinubu’s studenthip in the university, that, “We have no  person by that name in our file.”

Although, Chicago State University confirmed his studentship in that institution, the question is what manner of man will be so confused as to forget the name of the university he attended, if indeed he attended the university?

Despite the confirmation by Chicago State University that Bola Tinubu was a student in the university, there is still another issue. He claimed in the INEC form he filled that he got a BSc in Economics from the university but at the time he was a student in the university, there was no such programme but a BSc in Business Administration. Tissues and tissues of lies.

Funny, 2 years ago on the 161 bus in london, in Eltham to be precise, there were just 2 of us blacks upstairs. Th second person a Yoruba man was speaking loudly on his phone saying "Egbon mi, RAZISTS ni won ni bi o, They are bloody RAZISTS!" (These people are all racists here in london). I nearly fainted, I had to leave for downstairs, it was terribly embarrasing! HE was so loud, no one could have missed what he was saying

ROFLMAO

You may as well blame lung cancer in Iowa and poverty in Somalia on Tinubu.

Or how are you even remotely trying Tinubu to Bola Ige?
Maybe because he lived in Nigeria for a significant amount of time. And since this is public knowledge, it beats me how Mr. Sango aka Mr. Ekiti aka Mr. Yoruba aka Aregbesola's closest Friend aka Tinubu's Arse licker aka Yoruba-wannabe-akata-historian-of-everything-Yoruba wouldnt know something as basic as this important part of Yoruba recent history.

Sagamite has stopped claiming to be smart, intellectual and all those crapp that used to be his trademark, so few people now worship him and he is getting boring so there is not point going after him. Katz still has followers and even though I have reduced it by 50% in the past few weeks and demystified him to my hearts content, I think I can still do more.

Why does this thread keep coming back to esu? huh

Lets stop it plz.

Its things like this which make discussions about ATR in its entirety unacceptable to many people.

The thread is not about esu or the devil- its about yoruba mythology in general. Why are people trying to give esu prominence here unless there's more to it.

None of the statues so far are correct representations of the entity in question.

I checked some old accounts and the esu described centuries ago was not an actual statue but rather a collection of objects and its implications were fully understood by the worshippers.

This type of argument i'm seeing on nl seems to be another of the internet based fads which make the rounds every now and then, backed by some questionable characters on ground.

Lets not abandon wisdom in the name of being anti-western plz. Ironically enough, all the anti-westernism doesnt seem to apply when most of you are talking about women. Thats when we hear lectures on open mindedness.
The unaccomplished anthropologist. Is this how you are leading your failed anthropology dream? On NL?

A 33-year-old man, who allegedly issued dud cheques for N3.7 million, on Friday appeared before a Yaba Magistrates' Court in Lagos on a charge of fraud.

Chinedu Onwuatuelo is facing trial before Magistrate A. O. Ojo but he pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of N500,000 with one surety in like sum.

The prosecutor, Sgt. Benson Emuerhi, said that Onwuatuelo issued three dud cheques for the purchase of a car.

Emuerhi said he issued dud United Bank for Africa cheques with No. 34598102, 34398103 and 34398104 to one Mr Lambert Onuoha, a car dealer.

The prosecutor said that the accused issued the cheques for a total sum of N3, 737, 700.

He said that the cheques were dishonoured by the bank as a result of insufficient funds in Onwuatuelo's account.

Emuerhi noted that the alleged fraud contravened Section 419 B of the Criminal Code of Lagos State.

The case has been adjourned till Nov. 9 for further hearing.

I have a case of an Igbo lady from Illa in Delta state. She dated this "Christian" Yoruba man for 4 years and "prayed" as they dated.
Well, they eventually tied the knot and she had three kids; the first a boy, and the second twins -a boy and a girl.
Guess what, they are now divorced because he impregnated another lady. She is now raising three kids alone.

The second case is almost similar except that he (the Yoruba guy) came with the lady- an Igbo from Imo state,  to US. They had two sons, and today they are divorced too; reason, he impregnated another lady too.
She is now working as a CNA though she was a lawyer in Nigeria. She is wasted. I keep asking her why she never took he BAR (law license exam in US), she said the husband refused and threatened her with divorce. Well, she is divorced now anyway, and she is NOT A LAWYER still. angry

make u acquire a broader perspective on issues and make u think for yourselves.
Actually education narrows your perspective, cos when you start thinking outside of the box, you are most likely to be institutionalized, by force most times. Read up on John Nash, you will understand what I am talking about.

It's a good thing to have one's parents blessing in a marriage, but if they refuse to see beyond their noses then u must take control of the rudder of your lives! It's your lives afterall. They live theirs, they shld let u live yours!
The OP should have thought about that when they were sending her to school, feeding her, sheltering her and what not. She should have rejected all those goodies and live her life, on the street with other let-me-live-my-life-babies begging for money on Kano street and Idumota.
