IGP Issues No Movement Order Meanwhile, the inspector-general of police, Suleiman Abba, has ordered a restriction of movement during Saturday’s governorship and state House of Assembly elections. Abba gave the order yesterday in a statement by the Force spokesman, CP Emmanuel Ojukwu, in which he disclosed that the restriction will begin from 8am to 5pm on Saturday, April 11, 2015 only. Ojukwu however, disclosed that the restriction excludes the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, as well as vehicles on essential duties such as Fire Service, ambulances and vehicles used by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and law enforcement/security agencies. “In a bid to further ensure safety and security in the forthcoming Gubernatorial and State Houses of Assembly elections holding on Saturday, April 11, 2015, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP, Suleiman Abba, has ordered a restriction of vehicular movement in all the 36 States of the Federation from 8am to 5pm on Saturday, April 11, 2015 only. “This restriction excludes vehicles on essential duty such as Fire Service, Ambulances and vehicles used by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and law enforcement/security agencies. There is no restriction of vehicular movement in the Federal Capital Territory as there is no election taking place there on the said date,” he said. The IGP assured that adequate security logistics and manpower have been strategically deployed to achieve a most conducive electioneering atmosphere, stressing that policemen for election duty have been properly briefed on their roles as stipulated in the Electoral Act and are expected to be professional, non-partisan, civil but firm in their approach and relation to the public. http://leadership.ng/news/424401/april-11-elections-igp-redeploys-mbu-to-ogun 2 Likes |

omonnakoda: You need to read first, digest and then try to make sense of what is written. Now practice it slowly. To your point now: African-Americans and Igbo people of Nigeria have one same thing in common which is INFERIORITY complex and always manifest in the form of unnecessary anger. An average African-American hate whites just because of the history of slave trade and other terrible things they did to them, Likewise Igbo people are bitter towards other Nigerians especially towards the Yoruba tribe cause of the part they took during the civil war. These two group of people have not been able to move on and so they get bitter at any provocation. No matter how successful this group may be, the inferiority complex and bitterness is still there. (Always trying to compare themselves with others) One thing these two groups don't understand is that, no one actually cares. The white don't care what the blacks think of them similarly the Yoruba don't care what an Igbo man think of him. Take note, I am against what the Oba of Lagos said but if an Eze in Enugu said same to the Yoruba/Hausa group in Enugu, I bet you won't see it on social media. No one cares. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Mckennedy: Lol you are still comparing? That's the Inferiority complex I am talking about. How many Ibadan man will leave Ibadan for Enugu? When you take statistic of migration from Enugu to Ibadan and from Ibadan to Enugu, there will be at least a ratio of like 500:1 respectively. Those that will even migrate to Enugu will definitely be due to Job transfer. Ask yourself this question, why will any sane person move from IB to Enugu voluntarily? 3 Likes |

Mckennedy: Why not stay in Enugu since it is the most developed place in the East. Why come to Ibadan? If you truly live in Ibadan, you will sure know that Ibadan is far more developed than Enugu in all ramification. Why I am I even comparing the two? Mind you I am not from Ibadan and I don't live there, but I will never live in Enugu for anything. 2 Likes |

Mckennedy: Lol, you are funny. Are you comparing Ibadan and Abeokuta to any Eastern states? You must be a patriotic Igbo man. Yoruba people never migrate to Eastern Nigeria because they believe they have all it takes to succeed in the region and the truth is the they have it all there. Americans/Europeans don't migrate to Africa for better life, only the Africans migrates to American/Europe to better their life. BTW, the picture an average Ibadan man have when you mention Eastern Nigeria is an erosion-ravage red-soil waste land, where cannibals still exist and also a place where brothers kills each other to get a piece of land to build their house. WHO THE HELL WANTS TO LEAVE IN SUCH PLACES? 4 Likes |

Igbo people seriously need to grow out of their inferiority complex. The civil war is history, the igbo people lost it. You guys should accept this fact and move on. The African-Americans have still not moved on from the post slavery wahala that is why they are always angry with whites. My generation is not responsible for the war, we don't care about you guys, we don't migrate to your regions cause our region have enough prospects for us to succeed, we don't compare our region to yours because we are not inferior people. Why the hell will an American wants to compare New York to Lagos? it is only an inferior Nigerian that will always want to compare Lagos to New York. INFERIORITY COMPLEX IS A BAD THING. Even if you open 1 million thread, it won't still go a way, it's within you. 8 Likes |
