The Romans wanted to have the best Super-God figure in the history of mankind. This god was supposed to give them spiritual strength to fight and win wars. Many scriptures were altered, new ones were created, others were destroyed, etc....in order to mold the Jesus figure into their desired Super-God. In fact, she became so popular with women and men, that in 1950, the Pope declared that she was holy, and equivalent to a god. Mary worship is alive and well with the Catholics and Orthodox worldwide. She is known to perform many miracles daily throughout the world.

I feel sorry for the Protestants... they will burn in Hell for crossing Mary off their worship list....tsk, tsk!

The virginity of Isis is debatable. She was married to Osiris, and there is no reason to suppose she was abstinent after marriage. Horus was, per the story, miraculously conceived. Seth had killed and dismembered Osiris, then Isis put her husband's dead body back together except the genital part.

3) He had 12 disciples, two of whom were his "witnesses" and were named "Anup" and "Aan" (the two "Johns".

Horus had four disciples (called ‘Heru-Shemsu’). There’s another reference to sixteen followers, and a group of followers called ‘mesnui’ (blacksmiths) who join Horus in battle, but are never numbered. But there’s no reference to twelve followers or any of them being named “Anup” or “Aan”.


4)He performed miracles, exorcised demons and raised El-Azarus ("El-Osiris", from the dead.

He did perform miracles, but he never exorcised demons or raised his father from the dead. Also, Osiris is never referred to as ‘El-Azarus’ or ‘El-Osiris


5) Horus was called "the KRST," or "Anointed One."

He was never referred to by either of these titles. "Krst", in Egyptian, means "burial", by the way. It wasn't a title.

6)Like Jesus, "Horus was supposed to reign one thousand years."

No mention of this in Egyptian mythology.

7) He was also the "Way, the Truth, the Light," "Messiah," "God’s Anointed Son," the "Son of Man," the "Good Shepherd," the "Lamb of God," the "Word made flesh," the "Word of Truth," etc.

The only titles Horus is given are “Great God”, “Chief of the Powers”, “Master of Heaven”, and “Avenger of His Father”. None of the above titles are in any Egyptian mythology.



And One Last Question...

Like all Conspiracy theories, this theory doesn't lead to a firm conclusion. Since, its just another hypothesis & not a widely accepted proven fact, our religious community doesn't need to worry about it yet. However, the only thing that freaks me out is the number of such huge parallels! Just look at the size of the list! Are all of them false? Do you think the whole list is fake? Or are all of these parallels just coincidence?

This ranking is not based on academic performance, quality of education or excellence, universities are just ranked based on their presence on the web. So this ranking does not mean anything, even a university that is yet to be opened can be ranked when they have good presence on the web.

A Nigerian man has been sent to a mental institute in Kano state after he declared that he did not believe in God, according to a humanist charity.

Mubarak Bala was being held against his will at the hospital after his Muslim family took him there, it said.

The hospital said it was treating Mr Bala, 29, for a "challenging psychological condition", and would not keep him longer than necessary.

Kano is a mainly Muslim state and adopted Islamic law in 2000.

The International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU) says that when Mr Bala told relatives he did not believe in God, they asked a doctor if he was mentally ill.

Despite being told that he was not unwell, Mr Bala's family then went to a second doctor, who declared that his atheism was a side-effect of suffering a personality change, the group says.

Mr Bala, a chemical engineering graduate, was forcibly committed to a psychiatric ward at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, but was able to contact activists using a smuggled phone, it says.

IHEU spokesman Bob Churchill said the group was concerned about his "deteriorating condition" and called for his "swift release".

The hospital said in a statement that Mr Bala was "comfortable and conscious".

He had been admitted because he required treatment under supervision, it added.

Mr Bala's lawyer Mohammed Bello told the BBC he intended to arrange for an independent psychological evaluation of his client because of conflicting accounts of his health.
